DESCRIPTION:Aterballetto dances at Arena del Sole of Bologna Tempesta by Giuseppe Spota. \n“We are such stuff as dreams are made on.” William Shakespeare\, The Tempest\, Act IV \nWith Tempesta Aterballetto takes on a challenge: putting to the test dance and its capacity to vitalize stories and characters of a theatrical plot\, lighting them in an original way and looking at them from new points of view. By guaranteeing a clear legibility of Shakespeare’s story without giving up visionary dimensions. And then we will start from a storm\, what\, we can imagine\, led Prospero and Miranda to ship on the island\, then retrace the line of events outlined by Shakespeare\, highlighting some thematic nuclei of strong human profundity. To go to the heart of one of the most extraordinary inventions conceived for the scene by the great English writer thanks to the choreography of young Giuseppe Spota\, Pasquale Plastino‘s dramaturgy\, Giuliano Sangiorgi‘s original music\, Giacomo Andrico‘s scene and Antonio Audino‘s critical consulting. \n

DESCRIPTION:Aterballetto danza al Teatro Comunale di Modena Bach Project. \nBach Project propone una tappa importante nell’esplorazione della relazione tra danza e musica\, tra composizione classica e sua ricreazione contemporanea. \nIn scena Sarabande\, capolavoro di Jiří Kylián\, e Domus Aurea di Diego Tortelli\, promessa della coreografia italiana che\, sulle Suite francesi di Bach trascritte da Giorgio Colombo Taccani e suonate dal vivo dall’Ensemble Sentieri selvaggi\, ha creato un’architettura onirica di movimento\, coinvolgendo l’artista visivo Massimo Uberti. \nBach Project permette così di affermare – intorno ad una dimensione musicale – una visione intergenerazionale\, aperta e curiosa della creazione coreografica. \nQuesta produzione si avvale della partnership di Torinodanza Festival/Teatro Stabile di Torino – Teatro Nazionale\, Les Halles de Schaerbeek di Bruxelles\, Festival MiTo\, MILANoLTRE Festival e della collaborazione dei Teatri di tradizione dell’Emilia-Romagna.

DESCRIPTION:Aterballetto danza Golden Days di Johan Inger a Lucca. \nGolden Days si compone di tre parti: Rain Dogs sulle parole e voce di Tom Waits\, BLISS sul famoso concerto di pianoforte di Keith Jarrett al pianoforte\, e come collegamento tra due epoche diverse\, l’assolo di Birdland sulla canzone omonima di Patti Smith. \nQuesto trittico riflette le influenze e l’identità stilistica di Johan Inger: una scrittura neoclassica con una ricchezza barocca maturata in uno “schizzo svedese”; un’audacia contemporanea da cui scaturisce un gesto con verve narrativa segnata da un notevole potere drammatico. \nLe colonne sonore iconiche degli anni ’70 e ’80 giocano qui un ruolo fondamentale\, infondendo questa originale jam session coreografica con un’esplosione sinfonica di profumi nostalgici.
