SUMMARY:EROIDE CONTEMPORANEA / EUFEMIA - OPEN REHEARSAL
DESCRIPTION:Massimo Monticelli – Eroide Contemporanea \nGiorgia Lolli – Eufemia\, ph. Andrea Couceiro \nOPEN REHEARSAL\nTwo young choreographers from Emilia-Romagna confront on stage a deromanticized present and a past with a nostalgic flavor. \nMassimo Monticelli\, an internationally known dancer and choreographer\, drawing inspiration from Ovid’s collections of love epistles\, rewrites one of them: his Eroide Contemporanea. The letter becomes an opportunity to pose a reflection on love\, art and loneliness. \nGiorgia Lolli\, through collaboration with Sophie Claire Annen and Vittoria Caneva\, creates Eufemia. On stage\, a non-romantic vision of romance and a nostalgia for eras never lived meet. \nWith the patronage of  \n \nEROIDE CONTEMPORANEA\nChoreography\, text\, dance: Massimo Monticelli \nMusic: C. Debussy\, B. Bàrtok \nProduction: TIR dance \nWith the support of: ImPulsTanz\, Vienna (AT)\, Santarcangelo Festival\, Rete h(abita)t Bologna. \nIn his Heroides\, Ovid imagines a collection of letters written by some of the most famous women of myth for their respective men who\, for one reason or another\, abandoned them. Massimo Monticelli wants here to compose a new eroid. Going through a fragment of life\, a letter becomes an opportunity to pose a reflection on love\, art and loneliness. \nAcknowledgements: \nProject selected for the ATLAS – create your dance trails program of the ImPulsTanz festival in Vienna\, with dramaturgy support by Guy Cools and Angelique Wilkie. \nProject selected for KRAAK\, residency path of Santarcangelo Festival. \n \n  \nMASSIMO MONTICELLI \nMassimo Monticelli is a dancer\, choreographer and teacher from Bologna\, and since 2023 he has been an associate artist of TIR Danza.\nIn recent years\, Massimo has danced in works by international choreographers in several European countries\, and since 2022 he has started a collaboration as performer with Italian choreographer Nicola Galli.\nIn the last two years Massimo has been able to present his work in contexts such as Gender Bender International Festival\, Romaeuropa festival\, in ImPulsTanz’s ATLAS artist review in Vienna (AT)\, Corte Ospitale\, Thuner Tanzfest (CH).\nBetween 2021 and 2023 Massimo has been selected for the following opportunities: national call ERetici promoted by Arboreto and Corte Ospitale\, Nuove Traiettorie XL promoted by Rete Anticorpi XL\, ATLAS – create your dance trails\, program within ImPulsTanz festival in Vienna\, DNAppunti Coreografici 2022 as a finalist\, and among the four winning artists of SupportER\, support action promoted by Rete Anticorpi Emilia-Romagna.\nIn 2020 Massimo was a founding member of the Swiss company EREM dance\, with which he worked as dramaturg and choreographic consultant.\nHe graduated with honors from Trinity Laban in London\, received a Master’s degree in Performance from NSCD in Leeds\, spent a period of study at the National Conservatory of Paris\, while in parallel he earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in Theatre Disciplines from the University of Bologna.\nEUFEMIA \nBy Giorgia Lolli\nWith Sophie Claire Annen\, Vittoria Caneva\, Giorgia Lolli \nProduction: Anghiari Dance Hub 2020\nWinner project of the Abitante Call for Proposals – National Center for Dance Production Virgilio Sieni and Fondazione CR Firenze. With the support of SdFactory Laboratorio Creativo (Reggio Emilia) and blueFACTORY (Fribourg\, CH). \nSelected for the Young Author’s Dance Showcase – action of the Network Antibodies XL 2021. \n– \nEufemia\, from the Greek\, she who speaks well\, or she who is spoken of well\, is a creation for three young women and a typewriter. On stage\, a non-romantic vision of romance and a nostalgia for eras never lived meet. The performers\, furnishing the rooms of a utopian world\, construct between the abstract and the concrete a dimension in which everything becomes both subject and frame. They cultivate an “imperfectionism” devoid of approximations\, which opens to new possible views and oversights. \nEufemia: celestial\, moody\, eloquent\, intimate\, sophisticated\, light.\nIt is everything you decide it is. \n  \nEufemia\, Giorgia Lolli – ph. Andrea Couceiro \nGIORGIA LOLLI \nGiorgia Lolli (Reggio Emilia\, 1996) graduated in Contemporary Dance from Zürich University of the Arts and moved to Israel\, completing training with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company. She has an active collaboration as a dancer in Finland for How the land lies by Bianca Hisse & Laura Cemin\, selected for Aerowaves 2023. Giorgia is teaching Dance Well\, movement research for Parkinson’s at Triennale Milano. \nHer practice interweaves dramaturgical-choreographic research and community processes. Since 2020 she has been collaborating with Sophie Claire Annen and Vittoria Caneva: with Eufemia they are finalists in Direction Under 30 (Teatro Sociale di Gualtieri)\, selected by Network Anticorpi XL for the Young Author’s Dance Showcase 2021\, and guests of Festivals in Switzerland\, Portugal\, Germany. \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nTicket service in the Fonderia is active from 5 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:MEMENTO - OPEN REHEARSAL
DESCRIPTION:  \n \nMemento – Cornelia Dance Company – ph. Sabrina Cirillo \nOPEN REHEARSAL\nMemento is a dance piece that is based on the non-event. Just as in the Beckettian masterpiece\, Waiting for Godot\, the tension is created by the succession of hopes that find no concrete outlet\, so likewise\, in life\, every moment is waiting for something definitive that then\, when we think we have obtained it\, we always discover to be fragmented and subjective. \nWithin the choreography\, the performers experience this waiting and\, in their search for a definitive answer\, divine or otherwise\, to their existential condition\, they seek solace from each other\, challenge each other\, or\, like a chorus\, all tend toward the same point.\nIn the end\, the very goal of their journey will be realized in the remembrance (memento means\, precisely\, “remembered”) of these relationships and the sensations they have felt\, making it a ritual moment\, a sacred\, and therefore eternal\, act. \n\nCREDITS \nChoreography Nyko Piscopo\nMusic Arvo Pärt\nCostume Design Rosario Martone\nDramaturgy Ciro Ciancio\nSet Design Paola Castrignanò\nLights Camilla Piccioni \nDancers Nicolas Grimaldi Capitello\, Eleonora Greco\, Leopoldo Guadagno\, Francesco Russo \nTechnical Manager Giuseppe Ferrigno\nManagement Vittorio Stasi\nVideo Andrea De Simone\nPhotos Sabrina Cirillo \nProduction Cornelia\nSupport Caleidoscopio\, Teatro Eduardo de Filippo \nIn collaboration with: AMAT MARCHE\, Compagnia Zappalà Danza – SCENARIO PUBBLICO. \nCONCEPT \nInnovative\, out-of-the-box and label-free\, “Memento” is a celebration of the self in all its forms and rests its foundation on gender equality. Performers are asked to renounce the inherent characteristics associated with their gender or stereotypes about it. The gaze becomes fixed\, facial expressions limited\, however\, they are also given the opportunity to express\, in a fluid manner and according to stage sensibility\, the emotionality perceived at that particular moment. Nothing has to start from an idea\, but from an internal impulse: in this way the body does not drag behind a stereotyped gesturality\, and the choreographic dynamics are built free of all patterns\, so that the man can be lifted up by the woman\, if the inner need of the couple on stage requires it\, reversing (or following) the canons without preconceived barriers. \n\nThe succession of tension and apparent calm involves every aspect of the staging. The lights rest on the performers like spots that suddenly appear and\, just as suddenly\, vanish\, conveying the anxiety and agony felt by the play’s protagonists. The atmosphere of unease tends to be amplified by an eternal return to choreographic stillness\, stillness that is\, however\, constantly challenged\, not only by the progression of light and darkness\, but also by the scenographic dynamics that\, by evoking those places that seem suspended between the earthly and the otherworldly like the monolithic complex of Stonehenge\, increases the sense of uncertainty and inner disequilibrium. The musical score also contributes to this effect of constant suspension and restart. While\, through moments of lightness and irony\, the anguish seems to be successfully concealed\, Arvo Pärt’s music reinforces the emotionality\, denying both dancers and spectators to remain indifferent to the feelings that transpire from the work. \nCORNELIA\nCornelia is a dance company founded in 2019 in Naples by Nyko Piscopo\, Nicolas Grimaldi Capitello\, Eleonora Greco\, Leopoldo Guadagno and Francesco Russo. \nKey word of Cornelia‘s artistic manifesto is INNOVATION\, which manifests itself both by carrying out projects where different languages coexist and through the reinterpretation in a modern key of some classics of dance and literature. Consequently\, the themes addressed by the company are those of contemporaneity. They include\, in fact\, the “instances” of the new generations\, such as the battles for self-determination of one’s body and for the affirmation of one’s sexuality\, but also investigating the new possibilities of connection given by the social revolution. \nIn addition to the founders\, Cornelia relies on numerous external collaborators who share the same philosophy as the group. The ‘company’s activity is widespread both in Italy and abroad: artistic productions are presented in various Italian theaters (Teatro delle Muse in Ancona\, Teatro Bellini in Naples\, Teatro Comunale in Vicenza\, Teatro Carignano in Turin) and participate in the most important dance and video dance festivals\, both national (Venice Biennale 2020\, Campania Teatro Festival 2021 and many others) and international (Filmpride in Brighton\, Choreoscope in Barcelona)\, as well as projects streamed in New York\, London\, Belgrade\, Sweden\, Iran. \nActive not only in dance at the production level\, the company is also involved in collaborating in the organization of national events such as MOVI|MENTALE and Cilentart Fest and in training with free initiatives for local dancers such as Wake Up! Training. \nIt has achieved an important recognition from the Ministry of Culture\, being included in the list of dance companies funded by the FUS. \nhttps://www.corneliaperformingarts.com/ \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket service in Fonderia runs from 5:30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:Made in Italy 27.0 - OPEN REHEARSAL
DESCRIPTION:Agora Coaching Project – Made in Italy 27.0 – ph Nicola Stasi \nOPEN REHEARSAL\nProtagonists are Agora Coaching Project‘s dancers\, a project of advanced training in dance promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D Progetto Danza of Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli. Created in 2010\, the course is now gaining full recognition in the European dance world and boasts collaborations with internationally renowned teachers and choreographers. \nOn stage Made in Italy 27.0 with choreography by Uri Ivgi and Johan Greben\, Emanuele Soavi \nNice to meet you \nChoreography Uri Ivgi and Johan Greben\nAssistant to choreography Fabrizio Di Franco\nMusic Tom Parkinson\nDramaturgy Judith Schoneveld \nAn empty space that slowly fills with different personalities\, who meet and investigate together the complex simplicity of human relationships.\nNice to meet you is an open space that aims to break the fourth wall and create an intimate dialogue between dancers and spectators\, almost as if sharing a secret. \nThe movement is earthy but also light and ironic\, emphasizing the myriad nuances of human nature and the enormous fragility involved in looking into someone’s eyes and saying “nice to meet you.” \nAllegro Beyond Sonatas \nChoreography Emanuele Soavi\nAssistant choreographers Federico Casadei\, Lorenzo Molinaro\nMusic J. S. Bach\, Stefan Bohne\nCostumes Nuvia Valestri \nThis work was born out of the study of deepening the concept of technical exactitude and at the same time freedom of movement research.\nA physical response to the counterpoints\, rhythms\, pointed complexes and speed of J. S. Bach’s music. \nOn stage\, the performers create configurations that are constantly evolving. Short solos\, duets and ensemble groupings appear and disappear; they melt in and out of darkness and openings at the back of the stage. Movement is an extended exploration of the shapes and geometries that human bodies can create in a formal context. \nThere is no possibility of hiding in Allegro Beyond Sonatas. Every part of the body must be extensively explored as each movement articulates through the entire frame – vocabulary of the body; including the fingertips\, including the expression of one’s identity. \nAgora Coaching Project \nAGORA COACHING PROJECT is an annual dance training project for dancers aged 18 to 22\, based in Reggio Emilia. Elena Bianchi \nThe young XL Dance Company\, directed by Emanuela Baratin and Laura Matano\, previews Drop\, the new creation by Laura Matano. \nCredits \nFrom an idea by Laura Matano\nChoreography: Laura Matano\nMusical collaborator: Marco Giacomelli\nConcept and lyrics: Mariagrazia Ferro\nSet design: Cinzia Macis \nConcept \nKnowledge is only possible by differentiation\, at least in order to share it and be understood\, it is mostly necessary to affirm that something is not something else.\nUndeniable\, even a little frustrating\, is the presence of an internal dichotomy within the human being\, let us say biological\, which makes the double a moment of synthesis but also of contrast.\nThe double takes on a symbolic value from scientific and objective observation. The double nature can be interpreted in a dissociative key\, of splitting or\, at the same time\, as a defence and synthesis mechanism. \nThe double is a fetish that embodies how we are made and how far we can think and think about ourselves. \nThe choreography is designed to be performed by three female and three male dancers.\nThe entire production consists of three acts that can also be staged independently. ACT I -female-\, ACT II -male-\, ACT III -mixed. \nAct I and Act II will differ only in the execution of the choreography by the two groups of dancers. There will be no change in the choreographic structure\, which will remain identical; what will change is the mode of execution\, since one act will be performed by female dancers and the other by male dancers. \nAct III constitutes the moment of synthesis in which the above-mentioned differences are resolved and renewed and will have its own choreography. \nXL DANCE COMPANY \nIt was born in Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Emanuela Baratin and Laura Matano. \nThe aim of the dance company is to create performances by circulating choreographers and international realities. In XL Dance Company\, the movement\, the body\, the gestures become matter and surface for the individual and collective expression\, instruments of choreographic experimentation through methods and techniques supporting a creativity born from intuitions\, resonances and perceptions. The productions reflect the DNA of XL Dance Company\, which makes contamination between styles its distinctive feature. Open to innovation\, the dancers perform in important national and international festivals and theatres. \nstudioxlcontemporary.it \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 17.30. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nTel 0522273016 \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554

Here three dancers move in a dance made of the intertwining of a very high technical complexity and unknown movements\, like creatures from other worlds. Space and costumes of the dancers have similar aesthetic traits\, resulting in a camouflage effect. The choreography is built with a cyclical idea whose elements\, while varying\, return with an apparent randomness\, as happens to thunderstorms and storms. \n \nAfter having attended for a long time outdoor landscapes in their changes within the alternation of the seasons (The Invisible Seasons – Infinite Choreographic Cycle 2018-2021\, awarded with the Siae and Mibac Prize For Who Creates and selected by the Big Pulse Alliance as one of the eight best European outdoor projects 2021 in the programme Open Air Commission)\, with this project Fabrizio Favale now investigates the concept of mimicry. Sometimes useful in nature\, sometimes useless\, mimicry is seen here first of all as an aesthetic event. A way of disappearing\, dissolving into the surrounding\, to reappear with the appearance of the surrounding. \nFabrizio Favale \nHis dance is oriented towards abstraction\, typical of the American techniques with which he was trained. The choreographic landscapes that he draws in his works seem to refer from time to time to distant and unknown worlds\, in which dance presents itself as a horizon free from interpretation and classification. \nFabrizio studied classical ballet with Denis Carey\, Victor Litvinov\, Sue Carlton Jones. Contemporary techniques with Andé Peck\, Roberta Garrison\, Jeff Slayton\, Betty Jones\, Nina Watt\, Irene Hultmann\, Louise Burns\, Alwin Nicholais. \nFrom a very young age he was awarded numerous scholarships including Full Scholarship at the American Dance Festival\, Duke University\, USA in 1990.\nAt 19 he was awarded with the Prize “Nati per la danza” at the Theatre Romolo Valli in Reggio Emilia and at 26 he was nominated “best Italian dancer of the year 1996” by the G. Tani Prize.\nFrom 1991 to 2001 he danced for the Virgilio Sieni Danza Company. \nSince 1999 he has created over 30 choreographies\, receiving awards in Spain\, Germany\, Italy and Serbia\, performing in numerous festivals and theaters such as Théâtre National de la Danse Chaillot Paris\, Biennale de la Danse de Lyon\, La Biennale di Venezia\, Suzanne Dellal Tel Aviv\, SIDance Seoul\, Varna International Festival and many more.\nHis works have been co-produced by Théâtre National de la Danse Chaillot Paris\, MUSEION – National Museum of Arts in Bolzano\, Tanz Bozen Festival\, Festival MILANoLTRE Milan\, Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Vicenza.\nIn 2011\, on the occasion of the presentation of the work “Un ricamo fatto sul nulla” at the Grand Theater of the National Academy of Dance in Rome\, he received the “Medal of the President of the Republic for Italian choreographic talent”. \nHe invents a series of experimental programming formats\, which will be invited by Italian Festivals and Theaters. The main ones are: “Piattaforma della Danza Balinese” (2014-2015) for the Santarcangelo Festival and “Circo Massimo” (2016-2017) for the Duse Theater in Bologna. \nHe collaborates with musicians and composers such as Mountains (USA)\, Teho Teardo (IT)\, Daniela Cattivelli (IT) and visual artists such as ZimmerFrei (IT)\, Lele Marcoianni (IT). \nHis outdoor project Le Stagioni Invisibili – Ciclo Coreografico Infinito 2018-2021\, received the “PerChiCrea 2019” Production Award from Siae and Mibac – Italian Ministry of Culture and was shortlisted by the Big Pulse Dance Alliance as one of the best 8 European projects 2021 in its programme Open Air Commissions. \nWith the duo First Rose (Fabrizio Favale and Andrea Del Bianco)\, he also designs scenes\, costumes and artifacts\, which sometimes graft the choreographic works with an enigmatic figuration of strange beings\, as hybrids of a kind of organic and inorganic world. \nFor the three-year period 22-24 Fabrizio Favale is nominated Italian Associate Artist of MILANoLTRE\, Teatro Elfo-Puccini Milan. \nlesupplici.it \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 5.30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nTel +39 0522 273016 \nMobile and whatsapp +39 3341023554

SUMMARY:LOVE POEMS - OPEN REHEARSAL
DESCRIPTION:OPEN REHEARSAL\n\nOpen rehearsals are unique moments in which one can experience the backstage of a performance\, dialogue with the artists and be surprised by the art of dance. \nUnder the title LOVE POEMS\, the MM Contemporary Dance Company presents an evening composed of three new choreographies all under the sign of contemporary: \n– DUETTO INOFFENSIVO (excerpt from ‘Rossini Cards’) by MAURO BIGONZETTI restaged for MMCDC \n– BRUTAL LOVE POEMS by THOMAS NOONE \n– VIVALDI UMANE PASSIONI by MICHELE MEROLA. \nThe three works are performed by eight dancers from MMCDC\, a reality of excellence in Italian dance\, with a consolidated activity of performances throughout the country.\nThe choreographies of the programme\, linked by the common denominator of a distinctive musicality\, are characterised by a strong implication as much interpretative as technical\, which will highlight the stylistic versatility and extraordinary skill of the company’s dancers. From one piece to the next\, the dance will become one with the music\, marrying its compositional richness thanks to choreographies that emphasise movement\, plasticity\, but also the importance of the single gesture. \n  \n  \nDUETTO INOFFENSIVO \nExcerpt from ‘Rossini Cards \nChoreography: Mauro Bigonzetti\nMusic: Gioachino Rossini\nAssistant to choreography: Roberto Zamorano\nLighting design: Carlo Cerri\nCostumes: Helena De Medeiros\nWith 2 dancers \nA passionate and intense duet by Mauro Bigonzetti: in the two women on stage there is sharing\, understanding\, but also disagreement\, and we find condensed the characters and stories of several female characters. Their encounter\, in a continuous repetition and alternation of complicity and conflict\, gives rise to an exchange of energies\, feelings and emotions linked to the disappointments of love. \n\nBRUTAL LOVE POEMS \nChoreography: Thomas Noone\nMusic: Jim Pinchen\nWith 4 dancers \n“I love you so much that I am in pain. I hope you suffer as much as I do …” \nRaw and dynamic\, Brutal Love Poems explores the ‘wild’ side that we hide within us and that only reveals itself in our most intimate moments. Somehow this revelation\, of our most primordial\, terrible and brutal being\, is perhaps only ever manifested in front of those closest to us\, the person we love.\nAn abstract\, non-narrative work\, in which the resonance of movements echoes and combines to form a whole\, seeking to entertain\, provoke and seduce. \n\n  \n  \n VIVALDI UMANE PASSIONI \nChoreography: Michele Merola\nMusic: Antonio Vivaldi\nLighting design: Cristina Spelti\nCostumes: Carlotta Montanari\nWith 7 dancers \nCo-production Teatro Ristori di Verona\nNational Premiere: 1 February 2019 – Teatro Ristori\, Verona \nWith each creation\, Michele Merola aims higher\, convinced that it is possible to express\, in dance\, joys\, tenderness\, anger\, expectations\, impulses\, torments. For the choreographer\, returning the fire of passions to bodies contaminated by life has always been a conditio sine qua non for representing the meaning of existence on Earth. And it is in the pages of the great composers that Merola loves to search for perspectives\, symmetries\, assonances between human feeling and music. His encounter with Antonio Vivaldi springs from this desire\, for a new production where ‘the relationship between music and movement plays the lion’s share’\, says Merola. \nStarting with Vivaldi’s best pieces and suggestions from the paintings of Marc Chagall\, Michele Merola has created Vivaldi Umane passioni: “With Vivaldi and baroque music\, I rediscover a love for pure choreographic design\, while the inspiration I find in Marc Chagall’s paintings – works such as The Birthday (1915)\, On the City (1918)\, Love on the Scene (1920)\, Introduction to Jewish Theatre (1920) – \, has guided my work towards human passions\, the evasion from the everyday to detach oneself from the ground\, listening to inner emotions. In both artists\, I sense a great desire for life\, beauty\, elegance in living’. \nSome of the composer’s best-known scores are mirrored in Merola’s journeys: the violin concertos La Follia\, L’Inquietudine\, L’Estro Armonico\, and Il Favorito best express the sentiments that punctuate one’s life. Faced with this supreme grace\, the vortex of sonorous intensity and richness of timbre\, Merola pushes the accelerator of movement dynamics to develop new reflections. As an ‘athlete of the heart’\, and of its most secret recesses\, the choreographer visualises those themes with intimate involvement and a strongly contemporary slant\, sculpting them in dance and in the air with the same passion and fury dictated by the notes. Fuelled by the two arts\, the dialogue that is created\, intense\, balanced in terms of the balance of forces\, enriches and nourishes the spectator’s imagination with complexity and compositional richness. It is a chess game in which music and bodies chase each other\, confront each other\, overlap\, in a representational dynamic that the union makes even more intense. SUMMARY:FOUR SEASONS in Different Seasons - open rehearsal
DESCRIPTION:OPEN REHEARSAL\nOpen rehearsals are unique moments in which it is possible to experience the backstage of a performance\, dialogue with the artists and be surprised by the art of dance. \n“FOUR SEASONS IN DIFFERENT SEASONS” is the title of this performance where Vivaldi’s music\, rewritten by Max Richter\, was the inspiration behind four choreographies by different choreographers who were able to express their vision on the main theme\, creating a unique expression: EMOTION. \n\n  \nCREDITIS\nDirection: Rezart Stafa\nChoreography: Edi Blloshmi\, Hektor Budlla\, Beatrice Bodini and Saul Daniele Ardillo\nMusic: Antonio Vivaldi recomposed by Max Richter\nLighting design: Gessica Germini\nCostumes: Nuvia Valestri and Nuovo Balletto Classico \nProduction: Nuovo Balletto Classico \nSYNOPSIS \nEach season is signed by a different choreographer and takes the spectator into a particular dimension. Edi Blloshmi‘s Spring is neoclassical\, Hektor Budlla‘s Summer\, Beatrice Bodini‘s Autumn and Saul Daniele Ardillo‘s Winter are contemporary. \n \nLe stagioni si legano e scorrono una dopo l’altra. Lo spettacolo è un messaggio di speranza e sofferenza concreta che fa riflettere e tocca nel profondo. \nNuovo Balletto Classico \n\nIn July 2016\, the high training school of Ballet NUOVO BALLETTO CLASSICO\, directed by Grori Dorian\, Stafa Rezart\, Casolari Elena and Stefanescu Nicoletta\, was inaugurated in Reggio Emilia in the historical headquarters of the Balletto Classico Association of Liliana Cosi and Marinel Stefanescu to help prepare future generations of artist-dancers. The aim is to continue the artistic and cultural heritage that has been part of the social fabric of the city for some 40 years. The desire is to instil discipline through such a high art\, which is dance\, to prepare not only dancers and teachers\, but people with a high sensitivity towards others. \nnuovoballettoclassico.it \n\nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 3 euro\nunder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 5.30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nTel +39 0522 273016 \nMobile and whatsapp +39 334 1023554

SUMMARY:People - Open Rehearsal
DESCRIPTION:OPEN REHEARSAL\n\nOpen rehearsals are unique moments in which it is possible to experience the backstage of a performance\, dialogue with the artists and be surprised by the art of dance. \nPeople is a deep and secret analysis – in a few moments perhaps seraphic – of the contours of human beings\, members of a race that in contemporary society is increasingly exposed to a fictitious contact\, made up of sharing photographic\, of judgments\, of liking\, of following and status\, invented and proportionally more and more limited – often exiled – to a social solitude. \nDacru is a group that ‘transforms’ the language of hip hop dance by combining it through contemporary dance and performing art. The group\, often a guest at international festivals and reviews\, has for some years been one of the realities associated with Naturalis Labor. \nCREDITS \n\nConcept and choreography: Marisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani\nPerformers: Davide Angelozzi\, Elda Bartolacci\, Alessandro Marconcini\, Graziana Marzìa\, Jenny Mattaioli\, Afshin Varjavandi\nDaCru Dance Company / associate artist\n \nA production Compagnia Naturalis Labor\nSupported by MIC / Regione Veneto / Arco Danza / Comune di Vicenza \nWorld premiere Friederichshafen (D)\, 11 August 2021 \n\nDuration: 50′ \nINSIGHTS \nRoom. Home. Body. Mind.\nThe perimeter of everything\, solitary or overlapping. Blended and interlocking perimeters or S E P A R A T E D\, far from contact and shared thoughts in shared spaces. \nspace\n/speɪs/\n[from Latin spatium\, possibly der. from patēre “to be open”].\nCircumscribed perimeters\, physical and mental where one does not suffer unknown emotions because everything that arrives has already been known in an intimate personal experience. \n \nThe company reflects on the extraordinary power of ‘social distances’\, a theme that is dear to them and has already been dealt with in [zerocentimetri]\, the last production staged in 2019\, which\, in a predictive manner\, introduced what later became an undeniable fact.\nAnd so\, in a limited and delimited space\, each breath becomes a quest\, a small land to conquer where all the dancers occupy their comfort zone\, blind to everything that lives outside.\nA simple and bare scene\, few objects related to everyday life\, small rooms drawn in an open space.\nAn extraordinary dense crowd of living beings\, separated but too close not to secretly wish the opposite. \nHave you ever felt lonely? \nsolitude\n/ˈsɒlɪtjuːd/\nOrigin from Latin solitudo -ĭnis\, der. from solus ‘alone’ \n  \nDACRU DANCE COMPANY \nMarisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani began their artistic collaboration in 1996\, systematically mixing their personal artistic curiosities\, backgrounds and talents\, careful to keep their differences intact and often succeeding in enhancing them. \nTheir different artistic backgrounds\, academic for Marisa (Prebil\, Trayanova\, Lupov\, Peter Goss\, Sebron) and street for Omid (freestyler\, like many talents born and bred in the hip hop culture of the 1980s)\, produce a highly innovative and certainly singular artistic code. \nBoth in love with extreme experimentation and the contamination of styles and languages\, they create an unusual choreographic dimension\, while remaining absolutely attainable. They love speed\, technical virtuosity\, and the fusion of the theatrical space with the artistic code of the street\, from which they draw their drives towards art in its various aspects\, which often leads them to collaborate with underground musicians and visual artists. \nTheir primary goal remains to break out of conventional spaces through originality\, invention\, innovation and research. \nIn 1996\, Marisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani opened two professional hip hop dance schools\, still active today\, in Lazio and Sardinia\, to which they added\, over the years\, another 8 locations shared in organisation with Cruisin Arts (MC Hip Hop School: Milan\, Verona\, Jesi\, Florence\, Rome\, Bari\, Catania\, Cagliari)\, and a specialisation school for Video Dance and House (Cruisin’ Urban Dance Hdemy: Modena and Rome). \nIn addition to professional schools\, they carry out an intense teaching activity\, in Italy and abroad. \n \nDacru is a group that ‘transforms’ the language of hip hop dance by combining it through contemporary dance and performing art. The group\, often a guest at international festivals and reviews\, has for some years been one of the realities associated with Naturalis Labor. \n  \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 5.30 p.m. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nTel 0522273016 \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554

SUMMARY:Corpi Violati
DESCRIPTION:OPEN REHEARSAL\nThe choreographic project was born from the desire to focus attention on the theme of violence against women\, and from Artemis Danza’s long-standing collaboration with the Anti-Violence Centres of the D.I.Re Network (Women in the Network Against Violence). \nCREDITS \nChoreography\, direction\, set\, lighting and costume design Monica Casadei\nMusic Luca Vianini\, AAVV \nProduction Compagnia Artemis Danza\nCoproduction Festival di Danza Contemporanea – Teatro Comunale di Ferrara \nWith the support of Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali\, Regione Emilia-Romagna \nSynopsis \n“Never shall Carmen yield! She was born free and she will die free.” “I shall always be free”. These are the hymns to freedom by Carmen\, the protagonist of Prosper Mérimée’s novel and Georges Bizet’s opera\, and Violetta Valéry in Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata. Figures of women who are symbols of independence of thought\, strength and courage and at the same time fragility in the face of violence and abuse. Their freedom\, as in so many other cases\, is punished\, violated\, with tragic results. The project “Corpi violati” by the Compagnia Artemis Danza\, founded and directed by Monica Casadei\, is inspired by the many stories of gender violence told in literature and melodrama\, only a small number compared to the infinite number of stories in the daily news.\nThe choreographic project stems from the desire to draw attention to the issue of violence against women\, and from Artemis Danza’s long-standing collaboration with the Anti-Violence Centres of the D.I.Re Network (Women in networks against violence). \nCOMPAGNIA ARTEMIS DANZA \nOriginally from Ferrara\, Monica Casadei graduates in philosophy cum laude writing a dissertation on dance in Plato’s system. After a career as a professional acrobatic gymnast\, she takes to studying classic and modern dance\, at first in Italy\, then in London\, and eventually in Paris where she gets to meet choreographers Pierre Doussaint and Isabelle Doubouloz and the Master André Cognard Hanshi So shihan\, with whom she still practices the martial art of Aikido. \nIn France\, she founds the company Artemis Danza\, with which she later moves to Italy\, in 1997\, giving birth to a fervent production activity that amounts\, nowadays\, to over 40 original creations. \nFrom 1998 to 2007\, the Company is part of an artist residency at Fondazione Teatro Due in Parma whereas\, from 2014 up to this day\, it partakes in an artist residency at Teatro Comunale in Bologna. Artemis Danza has been invited to the most important Italian theatres and festivals and to several international tours and festivals. \nPivotal elements in Monica Casadei’ s artistic research are the influences from different artistic\, cultural and geographic fields and the exploration of urban spaces and places that turn into stages for performances. \nAlongside the production activity\, Artemis funds\, produces and promotes young choreographers and organizes several activities meant to artistically educate the audience. \nartemisdanza.com \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS\nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket service in the Fonderia is available from h 17.30. \nTickets are not numbered. \nENTRANCE\nYou can enter the Fonderia 15 minutes before the performance\, showing your online purchase.\nAt the entrance\, the temperature will be tested and if the temperature exceeds 37.5°C\, you will not be allowed to enter. DESCRIPTION:Nicola Galli – Il mondo altrove \nOPEN REHEARSAL\n“We particularly liked Nicola Galli’s latest creation “Il mondo altrove” (The World Elsewhere) which\, to Giacinto Scelsi’s obsessive music full of mysticism\, transports us to distant worlds\, between West and East\, in atmospheres reminiscent of a lost and ancestral world: the paintings and vases of ancient Greece but also the dances of Bali and the Katakali\, Japanese Nō and the mythical atmospheres of South America.\n[…] The dancers\, entering through the door at the centre of the stage\, concealing an unknown elsewhere\, advance like mysterious priests\, giving us back the sense of a lost sacredness that suddenly seems to still belong to us”. \nMario Bianchi [ Krapp’s Last Post – 27/07/2021 ] \n  \n\nCREDITS \nConcept ancd choreography: Nicola Galli\nDance: Margherita Dotta\, Nicola Galli\, Leonardo Maietto\, Silvia Remigio\nMusic: Giacinto Scelsi\, 3/4 had been eliminated\nProps: Giulio Mazzacurati\nMasks and costumes: Nicola Galli\nLight and sound: Giovanni Garbo \nProduction: TIR Danza\, stereopsis\nCo-production: MARCHE TEATRO / Inteatro Festival\, Oriente Occidente \nArtistic residences: DID Studio / Ariella Vidach\, Centro di Residenza della Toscana (Armunia – CapoTrave / Kilowatt)\, Oriente Occidente Studio_Passo Nord\nWith the support of: Rete Almagià\nTook part to the process of creation: Nicolas Grimaldi Capitello\nDuration: 50′ \nSYNOPSIS \nIl mondo altrove is a choreographic pièce in the shape of dance ritual\, which celebrates the motion of an unexplored world according to a scenic mindset.\nThe pièce traces an ideal path between West and Orient and it’s freely inspired by South America’s indigenous rituals\, Japanese’s symbols and traditions of Nō theater\, and the composer Giacinto Scelsi’s obsessive – to some extent mystical and eccentric – musical research\, focused on a spherical concept of sound. \nFrom the main door – which overlooks the scenic area and hides a elsewhere – four shamanic figures finely adorned move forward to lead a magical and timeless ceremony. The movement of bodies and the features of their faces – veiled and reconfigured according to canons extraneous to Western culture – preserve and offer to our gaze the ritual of a possible different tradition\, acted inside a circular bordary which delimits a space still attributable to the sacred and which collects the result of a harmonious coexistence between natural habitat and human action. \nNicola Galli – Il mondo altrove \nThe action takes place at sunset\, embraced by the bright colors of gold\, cyan and purple\, and then it dissolves in a nocturnal gestural dialogue\, as expression of mutual support\, perpetual gift\, universal and celestial communion. \nFaced with this physical language\, we are invited to decipher the “hieroglyphs” of this unknown\, wild and upside down civilization; we are guests encouraged to train to overcome the border of the known\, discovering ourselves as foreigners among foreigners. Welcoming a new world and opening up to an unknown system means to come into contact\, without pre-established hierarchies\, with the poetry of an opaque language\, whether it belongs to the animal world\, the plant world or any alternative culture. Accepting the questioning of something about oneself and rediscovering own humanity in the reflection of the encounter. \nNICOLA GALLI \nNicola Galli (1990\, Ferrara) works on body research\, stated in artistic pieces and devices that ranges from choreography to performance\, from body installations to graphics.\nGalli starts as agonist gymnast and then approaches to the body research at Teatro Nucleo (Ferrara)\, studying the languages of physical theatre and contemporary dance. Moreover he experiences a lot of heterogeneous disciplines: Renaiassance dance\, modern dance\, hip-hop and muscular rebalancing workshop ‘Monari Method’.\nIn 2010 he starts a personal research focused on shape and definition of the “stratification” and “landscape” concepts in connection with the body\, that develops in installations and choreographic pieces. Starting from the natural science\, the geometry and the astronomy he is fascinated by anatomy\, proportion and details; these elements compose the core of his trasversal scenic imaginary.\nIn his works\, the body become the irradiate core of the artistic research which focuses on analytical exploration of movement as a part of different knowledges.\nContextually to artistic research\, Nicola Galli creates and manages educational workshops dedicated to children\, adults and young dancers\, designed to explore the movement\, discover new visions and perceptions of the body and new reflections of his own physical and communicative border.\nFrom 2010 to 2014 he worked as dancer and performer in the company Collettivo Cinetico.\nSince 2014 he is choreographer supported by TIR Danza. \nHis works have been presented in: Egypt\, France\, Germany\, Italy\, Holland\, and via livestreaming in South Korea.\nHe has also collaborated with important international Institutions: Italian Cultural Institute (Paris)\, Balletto di Toscana (Florence)\, MUSE Science Museum (Trento)\, Scuola Normale Superiore University (Pisa)\, Fondazione Perugia Musica Classica (Perugia)\, Institute of the Arts (Seoul)\, IUAV University (Venice). \nAWARDS\n• 2018: “Prize Equilibrio” – Fondazione Musica per Roma with the pièce Deserto digitale\n• 2018: Prize “Danza & Danza” as best new choreogprapher with the pièce De rerum natura\n• 2019: Italian prize “Sfera d’Oro per la danza”\n• 2021: Prize “Radicondoli per il teatro in the name of Valter Ferrara” for innovation and use of new technologies in the theater with the performance Genoma scenico | digital device \nnicolagalli.it \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 3 euro\nReduced under 6: free \nPURCHASE TICKETS\nDue to anti-Covid regulations\, tickets can only be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it.\nTherefore\, tickets cannot be booked by phone or e-mail. \nThe box office service in the Fonderia is suspended. \nTickets are not numbered. \nENTRANCE \nYou can enter the Fonderia 15 minutes before the performance\, showing your online purchase.\nAt the entrance\, the temperature will be tested\, and access will be denied if the temperature exceeds 37.5°C. SUMMARY:Quel che resta - Open rehearsal
DESCRIPTION:Simona Bertozzi / Nexus – Quel che resta – ph. Luca Del Pia \nOPEN REHEARSAL\nA choreographic dialogue that invites us to explore the relationships between two bodies that work like a living organism in continuous expansion. In its growth\, the organism multiplies its directions and continually makes possible new balances and new links\, without avoiding the occurrence of mutations. \nQuel che resta (What remains) is a journey towards the wonder of movement\, made up of moments in which dance freezes in a gesture and surprising explosions\, sudden bursts\, unbalancing and repositioning of the body in space. A journey towards a territory made of landings and new departures. \n  \n\nCREDITS \nConcept and choreography: Simona Bertozzi\nDance: Marta Ciappina\, Simona Bertozzi\nMusic: Stravinsky: Diversions\, Ray Chen\, Timothy Young Divertimento: IV. Pas de deux\, Coda Presto\nSoundscape: Roberto Passuti\n(with an excerpt from the documentary Big Animals survival strategies)\nLighting design: Giuseppe Filipponio \nOrganization: Chiara Boscariol\nPress: Michele Pascarella\nPhoto and video: Luca Del Pia \nDuration: 45’\nProduction: Nexus 2021 \nWith the contribution of Mic\, Regione Emilia-Romagna\, Comune di Bologna\nWith the support of Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza Virgilio Sieni e di Fondazione CR Firenze \nCreative residencies within the framework of Residenze per artisti nei Territori curated by Masque teatro\, Artists in ResidenSì Bologna\, in collaboration with Dialoghi – Residenze delle Arti Performative a Villa Manin 2021\, CSS Teatro stabile di innovazione del FVG\, Almastudios Bologna. \nSYNOPSIS \nSince the beginning of my journey with Marta\, I have tried to attribute to the space environmental characteristics that could generate visions\, change the density of the air and generate the unexpected ability to cross. Unusual ways of being. \nAll this so that we could meet in a boundless dance\, able to reverberate beyond the awareness of our actions and surprise us\, almost despite ourselves\, in attitudes of affection and irresistible resonance. \nQuel che resta (What remains) was\, at first\, one of the territories of the map and of the practices\, between glaciation\, skins\, escapes\, and then became the overlying image\, the bubble\, the necessary degree of presence\, the shared gaze\, the inevitable questioning on which to pause\, to find the subtle breath and transit from one dance to another. \nSimona Bertozzi / Nexus – Quel che resta – ph. Luca Del Pia \nFrom a section of space\, Quel che resta has become the whole organism\, the living\, a multiplication of vectors\, perspectives\, anatomical flexions\, rhythm and time.\nIt has made us connective tissues\, to imagine and welcome other inhabitants\, to make temperatures and origins reverberate\, to generate multiform agreements of entry into movement\, looking for unexpected capacities to make the world. To generate amazement. \nQuel che resta is the impetuosity and the lingering of bodies\, the weightless touch: it extends a vocabulary of waits and starts\, of repeated geometries\, of figurines\, ice\, resistance\, epidermis and pupils and of refrains. To be hooked. \nSIMONA BERTOZZI \nSimona Bertozzi\, dancer and choreographer\, a graduate from DAMS in Bologna\, has been committed since 2005 to an authorial path of choreographic research and in 2008 founded the Simona Bertozzi | Nexus Company. \nOver the years\, her projects have been supported and hosted by important Italian and European circuits\, through co-productions and choreographic residencies. \nHer most recent works include: And it burns\, burns\, burns finalist at the 2017 UBU Awards as Best Dance Performance\, Joie de Vivre co-produced by ERT Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione\, Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Modena and Tra le linee project co-produced by Torino Danza\, MilanOltre\, Nexus and Festival Est Ovest. \nSince 2014 the creation path has also addressed young performers\, involving children and teenagers. \nIn 2019 he won the Hystrio Corpo a Corpo Award and the ANCT (Associazione Nazionale Critici di Teatro) Award. \nsimonabertozzi.it \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 3 euro\nReduced under 6: free \nPURCHASE TICKETS\nDue to anti-Covid regulations\, tickets can only be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it.\nTherefore\, tickets cannot be booked by phone or e-mail. Young and powerful\, the dancers constantly run physics and metaphysics\, in a dance of urban roots\, deconstructed and recomposed in a movement research free from definitions of genders\, going through a plastic state from which they often wake up in the intimacy of their real identity. \nINC InNprogressCollective – ANTIdoti – ph. Francesco Agnello \nThey also become heroes of a historical phase\, the present\, that forced them to distance themselves from everything and everyone\, perhaps forcing them to look within themselves and to find remedies for the cultural decay of the contemporary era. \nOr more simply to find an answer to how to live in a world insecure between cliché and unconventional desire. \n  \nINC InNprogressCollective \nINC InNprogressCollective dance | visual | urban art is an independent group that deals with urban dances\, visual art and performing art. \nIt was founded in 2006 following the creation of “HEIM“\, which will be the sole winner of the Settimana Internazionale della Danza di Spoleto\, attracting the interest of Elisabetta Terabust\, Prof. Alberto Testa\, Susan Sentler\, Clarissa Mucci\, Gigi Caciuleanu\, Luc Bouy and people in the sector. The Heim choreography has been hosted in the biggest Italian festivals\, including Amores (Bologna)\, Cross Roads (Florence)\, Giffoni Film Festival (Giffoni)\, Notte Bianca (Rome)\, Fringe Festival (Spoleto). \nHence the idea of setting up a stable group of young artists\, promoters of new forms of contemporary street art\, urban dances and trends. \nProductions followed:\nDeparture (2007)\, Underskin (2008\, winner of the Spoleto International Dance Week)\, Protest! SUMMARY:NUBIVAGO - Open Rehearsal
DESCRIPTION:Equilibrio Dinamico Dance Company – Continuum – ph. Stefano Sasso \nOPEN REHEARSAL\nNubìvago\, a term that evokes suspension and magic\, describes those who wander through their thoughts\, through the clouds of the imagination\, being fascinated by the views they can see. Those who are nubìvago do not get lost\, but take pleasure in a journey that takes place between reason and dream.\nThe sensations evoked by the word Nubìvago link\, inRoberta Ferrara‘s vision\, the three titles brought on stage by Equilibrio Dinamico: three choreographies creating cosmos\, questions\, emotions and empathy.\n \n  \n\n  \n  \nWALKING AND TALKING \nChoreography/Set Concept: Jiří Pokorný\nLighting design: Jiří Pokorný\nCostume design: Enzo Toma\nProduction: Equilibrio Dinamico\nDuration: 20′\nRealized during the choreographic residence “Experimental” supported by Teatro Pubblico Pugliese\, Regione Puglia -Fondi Fesr 2007-2013. \nNo journey is completed in solitude\, because thought\, never immobile\, torments our journey. An incoherent dialogue pushes\, shifts and stops the pace. The rhythm falters moment by moment. Life passes while thoughts evolve\, flow and drag us away. Can contradictions be believed in? Jiří Pokorný’s answer is yes. \n  \n\n  \nCONTINUUM \nChoreography/set concept: Matthias Kass & Clément Bugnon\nLighting design: Matthias Kass & Clément Bugnon\nCostume design: Matthias Kass & Clément Bugnon\nDuration: 15′ \nTime is constantly invoked: ‘do you have time to talk to me’ or ‘I don’t have enough time to finish this work’. What is invoked\, however\, is merely an interval\, a window of time that circumscribes the completion of actions. Sunrise and sunset\, night and day\, follow one another without us really understanding how quickly we are running out of time. If we then look at a broader horizon\, everything becomes elusive\, and the complexity of time leaves us totally powerless. \n\n  \nSIMPLE LOVE \nChoreography/Set Concept: Roberta Ferrara\nLighting design: Roberta Ferrara\nMusical consultation: Vito Causarano\nCostume design: Franco Colamorea\nDuration: 20′ \nWinning performance at Festival InDivenire 2018 in the dance category \nBest female and best male dancer Award \nA song of lost love\, a fragile and celebratory tale. Gestures take the place of words and tell of bodies that impetuously unwind\, confront each other\, wait for each other and observe each other. A vortex\, a challenge of balances and compromises to be found with the body\, the heart and the mind. \n\n\nEQUILIBRIO DINAMICO \nThe Equilibrio Dinamico company was founded in Apulia in 2011 by Roberta Ferrara\, a choreographer\, in order to offer a selected group of dancers from Southern Italy the opportunity to compete in an eclectic repertoire of international standing. The openness to quality experimentation\, a painstaking and effective dramaturgical work\, define the production of Ferrara herself and of the choreographers called to collaborate with Equilibrio Dinamico. In 2014 Vincenzo Losito joined the company\, taking on the role of organisational and production manager\, and contributing to increasing the group’s international visibility. Thanks to an effective network of exchanges with Europe and Asia\, supported by the Teatro Pubblico Pugliese and\, among others\, the Italian Cultural Institutes of Cologne\, Mexico\, New York\, Athens\, Sao Paulo of Brazil\, San Francisco and Zagreb\, the company performs in countries such as the United States\, Mexico\, Singapore\, Belgium\, Germany\, Greece\, Albania\, Kosovo\, India\, Japan\, Spain\, Brazil\, ODT International – Singapore\, Korea Ballet House – Seoul\, Staatstheater Ballet Augsburg – Germany and Teatrul De Balet Sibiu – Romania. \nequilibriodinamico.org \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 3 euro\nReduced under 6: free \nPURCHASE TICKETS\nDue to anti-Covid regulations\, tickets can only be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it.\nTherefore\, tickets cannot be booked by phone or e-mail. But the word Ara brings out a second meaning that alludes to the ancient place of sacrifice\, understood here as a mechanism generating death\, inflicted as a gift to those who were recognised as having the highest power. \n  \n\n  \nCREDITS \nChoreography\, performance\, visual conception – Ginevra Panzetti / Enrico Ticconi\nSound design\, composition – Demetrio Castellucci\nSnare\, percussions\, recording – Michele Scotti\nLight design – Annegret Schalke\nSet design realization – Laila Rosato\nFlag design – Ginevra Panzetti\nCostume realization – Julia Didier\nFlag-waving coach – Carlo Lobina / Flag-wavers of Arezzo\nTechnical care – Paolo Tizianel\nTouring / distribution – Aurélie Martin\nItalian production management – VAN (Federica Giuliano\, Eleonora Cavallo)\nGerman production management – Monica Ferrari \nProduction : Ginevra Panzetti / Enrico Ticconi; Associazione Culturale VAN\nFunded by: Hauptstadtkulturfonds (German Cultural Capital Fund)\nSupported by: the Fondation d’entreprise Hermès within the framework of the New Settings Program\nCo-produced by: PACT Zollverein; La Briqueterie CDCN du Val-de-Marne within the framework of accueil-studio funded by the Ministry of culture / DRAC IDF; KLAP Maison pour la Danse (Residency 2021); Théâtre de Vanves / Scène conventionnée d’intérêt national « Art et création » pour la danse et les écritures contemporaines à travers les arts; Triennale Milano Teatro.\nSupported through: Programme Etape Danse\, sustained by Institut français d’Allemagne – Bureau du Théâtre et de la Danse\, in partnership with Maison CDCN Uzès Gard Occitanie\, théâtre de Nîmes-scène conventionnée d’intérêt national – Art et Création – danse contemporaine\, Fabrik Potsdam\, with the help of DGCA – ministère de la Culture et de la Communication\, and the city of Potsdam\, Mosaico Danza / Interplay Festival of Turin in partnership with Lavanderia a Vapore of Collegno; Radialstiftung.\nArtistic residency program: NAOcrea – Ariella Vidach AiEP; Teatro Félix Guattari – Masque Teatro; CSC Bassano del Grappa; PACT Zollverein; Armunia; Schaubühne Lindenfels; Sosta Palmizi.\nThanks to: Teatro Comandini – Societas; Anghiari Dance Hub.\nGinevra Panzetti / Enrico Ticconi are supported by DIEHL+RITTER/TANZPAKT RECONNECT\, which is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the NEUSTART KULTUR initiative \nPreview 12 February 2021 / KLAP Maison pour la Danse – Marseille (FR)\nItalian Premiere 21 May 2021 / Interplay – Torino (IT)\nGerman premiere (digital) 10 – 16 June 2021 / Open Spaces Festival – Berlin (DE) \nDuration: 50′ \nSYNOPSIS \nAs slipping out of the cloth of constantly fluttering flags\, heraldic symbols take form and weight. Chimerical beings and oneiric figures appear\, like leafing through an armorial or medieval bestiary. They seem to tell us stories of conflicts which took place in the well delimited perimeter of an emblematic battlefield. \nIn ancient times\, graphic marks and color combinations showed up on the armors in response to the military need to identify opposite factions during fights. Thus arose coats of arms\, systems of signs\, shapes and colors organized in a form\, often that of a shield. They were used to reveal\, according to a precise sign alphabet\, the identity of a person\, a family\, a whole community. In the form of vivid colors and fantastic beasts\, those emblems hint at political tensions\, expressions of belonging\, dominance and power. \nPanzetti/Ticconi – Ara! Ara! – ph. Valerio Figuccio \nARA! ARA! is the designation of a symbol. The symbol of a rising power that chooses a bird to represent itself. Not a majestic and fearsome raptor like the eagle\, an animal often used as a heraldic symbol of power. On the contrary\, a bird that communicates fun and quietness by becoming\, according to a popular western look\, an exotic icon: the parrot ARA. It was introduced to the circus for its acrobatic abilities which\, together with the bright colours of its plumage and the ability to repeat sounds and words by imitation\, made it a perfect animal for entertainment in captivity.\nARA! ARA! represents a seductive power for its friendly and festive appearance that\, like the bird\, imitates and repeats\, bringing back patterns from the past\, ignoring contents and effects. \nSecond part of a diptych started with AeReA\, ARA! ARA! continues to investigate the symbolic power of the flag\, drawing on the folkloristic tradition of flag waving.\nPresent in both titles\, the word ARA reveals a second meaning that alludes to the ancient place of sacrifice\, here meant as a mechanism generating death\, inflicted as a gift to those who were recognized the highest power. \n  \nPANZETTI/TICCONI \nGinevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi\, based in Berlin and Torino\, have been working as a duo since 2008. Their artistic research interlaces dance\, performance and visual art. Deepening themes related to the historical union between communication\, violence and power\, they draw on ancient imaginaries\, creating hybrid figures or images between history and contemporaneity.\nBoth graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and attended Stoà\, School for rhythmic movement and philosophy in Cesena\, led by Claudia Castellucci. \nIn 2010 they moved to Germany and delved into individual\, but mutually complementary paths: Ginevra studied Media Art at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst (HGB) in Leipzig and Enrico Dance\, Context\, Choreography at the Inter-University Center for Dance (HZT) in Berlin. \nIn 2019 they won the 13th Arte Laguna Prize for the site-specific performance JARDIN / ARSENALE\, the first edition of Premio Hermès Danza Triennale Milano with which they realized the last work AeReA\, the Danza&Danza prize as emerging choreographers and were nominated “Promising Talent of the Year” by the Jahrbuch Tanz – Zeitschrift für Ballet Tanz und Performance.\nWith the work HARLEKING they have been selected by the european platform AEROWAVES Twenty 19\, the New Italian Dance (NID) Platform and by Tanzplatform Deutschland 2020. \npanzettiticconi.com \nPanzetti/Ticconi – Ara! DESCRIPTION:Danza d’Autore – Open Rehearsal\n\nMM Contemporary Dance Company directed by Michele Merola presents Danza d’Autore\, a triple bill composed of Extended by Camilla Monga\, Round Trip by Roberto Tedesco and La metà dell’ombra by Michele Merola. \n \n\n  \nExtended \nChoreography and concept Camilla Monga\nMusic Federica Furlani and By This River by Brian Eno\nDancers Dylan Di Nola\, Lorenzo Fiorito\, Matilde Gherardi\, Annalisa Perricone\, Alice Ruspaggiari\, Giuseppe Villarosa \nProduction MM Contemporary Dance Company\nWith the support of VAN \nProject born from the action Prove d’autore XL\, promoted by Network Anticorpi XL and coordinated by Associazione Cantieri \nDuration 20′ \nHere we are\nStuck by this river\nYou and I\nUnderneath a sky that’s ever falling down\, down\, down\nEver falling down \nBrian Eno’s By This River brings dancers and spectators into a rarefied atmosphere while the sound of the piano and keyboards caress each other embroidering a precious harmonic fabric. The song invites to a sweet disorientation to idealise a time without time and a space without borders. Camilla Monga works with the musician Federica Furlani to create a polyphony of images that are always new and unrepeatable\, creating an elsewhere that is outlined minute by minute before the eyes of the spectator. Each musical framework guides the talented MMCDC dancers\, giving each one few features that mark their characters; while closely connected actions provoke chain reactions\, outlining increasingly meditative and ethereal panoramas. Extended is expanded music that seems to have neither a beginning nor an ending; it is a reflection on the nature and fragility of man\, but also on his ability to evoke a universe\, false or real\, to create spaces in which one can fall and rise again. \nRound Trip \nChoreography Roberto Tedesco\nMusic Not Waving\nLighting Design Gessica Germini\nDancers Dylan Di Nola\, Lorenzo Fiorito\, Matilde Gherardi\, Fabiana Lonardo\, Alice Ruspaggiari\, Giuseppe Villarosa \nDuration 12′ \nThere is no linear story but moments\, images\, situations that transfigure the formal aspect of the choreographic score into music\, in what seems to be a “mosaic-work”.\nAn investigation into pure movement\, starting from the awareness that “without space there would be no movement\, but without movement space would not be conceivable. With Round Trip we enter into an analysis of different identities\, of the encounter with the other and its many facets. Individuals engaged in a unique and multiple research confront and identify themselves\, mixing again\, not caring about any classification. A circular motion that consists of invading and abandoning space\, going and returning that do not always coincide\, as if every single situation were disconnected from the previous or the following one and could belong each time to an infinitely variable number of performers. \nRoberto Tedesco \nLa metà dell'ombra \n\n\n\n\n\n\nChoreography Michele Merola\nMusic Johann Sebastian Bach\, Geert Hendrix\, Senking\nCostume design Carlotta Montanari\nDancers Dylan Di Nola\, Lorenzo Fiorito\, Paolo Lauri\, Nicola Stasi\, Giuseppe Villarosa \nDuration 28′ \nLa metà dell’ombra stages an ideal and impalpable journey into sacrality. The gestures and the music remind us of the ritual\, of an archaic world\, lost forever. The dancers alternate the physicality of the ‘dancing body’ with an intimate interpretation of the most spiritual part of man. \n\nIn Michele Merola’s dance there is always a time where the human tension and the truth about feelings get exalted: dance brings out the aching sense of life. His dance goes straight to heart\, shaped as knife\, without intermissions and it breaks our self-confidence. La metà dell’ombra is the last leg of this path: it’s structured on human male bodies and it can be considered as a journey to\nexplore the mystery of the sacred in us. The choreography moves in a continuous tension between the sense of expiation\, expressed with gestures lacerating\, self-punitive\, and the hope of redemption and the liberation of the body. There is a constant movement between atonement\, punishment\, hope and freedom. The feelings are mixed\, opposed and drawn in a collective ritual ending. Each frame we see and each choral dance performed exalt the human presence. By those choices the choreographer gains a new dance language that conquered us with power and evocation. \nErmanno Romanelli – Dance News \n\n\n\nMM CONTEMPORARY DANCE COMPANY \nMM Contemporary Dance Company\, based in Reggio Emilia\, Italy\, is directed by choreographer Michele Merola. SUMMARY:Dante Solo Inferno - Open Rehearsal
DESCRIPTION:OPEN REHEARSAL\nAn intricate forest\, swamps and rivers with dark\, stagnant water\, caves\, mud and stones\, rains of fire\, boiling blood. The landscape described by Dante Alighieri’s verses takes shape and body in the choreography Dante Solo Inferno\, created by Monica Casadei for the Compagnia Artemis Danza and inspired by the first cantica of the Commedia. \n \nCREDITS \nChoreography Monica Casadei\nMusic Franz Liszt\, Giuseppe Verdi\, Alfred Schnittke\, Krzysztof Penderecki\nMusical arrangements Luca Vianini\nProduction Compagnia Artemis Danza\nIn partnership with Ravenna Festival\n \nSynopsis \nIn this performance\, conceived to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the Poet’s death\, the dancers redraw the contours of an inhospitable land\, where torments of the damned serve their sentence. The choreographic movements become a mirror of the torment\, the bodies are shaped in torsions\, syncopes\, contractures\, insoluble weaves. And yet\, as in Dante’s Inferno\, there are traces of a decayed humanity\, souls that preserve memory of themselves and their past\, individualities that emerge like spots of colour in the indistinct magma\, out of a desire to tell the outside observer about their lives before death. \nSome of them cross the stage still wearing their worn-out earthly clothes\, remnants of a nobility that is no longer worth anything\, where everyone is equal. Others take shape through the reading of Dante’s verses. Paolo and Francesca da Rimini\, Pier Della Vigna in the forest of suicides\, Tiresia\, Ulysses\, Minos… characters that Monica Casadei chooses to investigate the human soul\, in a path that from the awareness of sin goes beyond condemnation\, towards compassion and acceptance of human nature. There is no lack of moments of sacredness\, such as a dance by dervishes in their ample red robes\, spinning moved by the wind. \nMusic contributes to making the journey even more intense: Franz Liszt’s Dante-Symphonie\, inspired by the composer’s reading of Dante’s Commedia\, and Lacrymosa from Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem\, meet pages by contemporary composers such as Alfred Schnittke and Krzysztof Penderecki\, and the sound atmospheres of Luca Vianini.\nDante Solo Inferno is a constantly evolving journey\, part of a wider project of exploration by Monica Casadei of Dante’s Inferno\, which has also taken shape in her creations Ombre and Frammenti di Inferno. \n  \nCOMPAGNIA ARTEMIS DANZA \nOriginally from Ferrara\, Monica Casadei graduates in philosophy cum laude writing a dissertation on dance in Plato’s system. SUMMARY:LES MISERABLES - OPEN REHEARSAL
DESCRIPTION:©Piero Tauro \nOPEN DRESS REHEARSAL_C&C Company\nLadies and Gentlemen! Consider the creature as God first made it; nothing\, just nothing. Add civilization and see what you’ve got: walks upright\, wears trousers and carries a cane. It’s all education\, he’s got animal brains\, or rather: brainy animality\, he’s not the pig-stupid sort like some people … The monkey’s already a soldier\, though that’s not saying much-the bottom-most species of human kind! \nWoyzeck – Georg Büchner \n  \nCredits \nOriginal creation: Carlo Massari / C&C Company\nOriginal cast: Martina La Ragione\, Carlo Massari\, Alice Monti\, Daniele Monti\nVocal coaching: Chiara Osella\nAudio and lighting design: Francesco Massari\n \nProduction: C&C Company\nCo-production: Teatri di Vetro/Triangolo Scaleno; Teatro Comunale Città di Vicenza\nProduction 2019/2020 \nInsights \nA ruthless and immoral fresco on today\, a middle-class contemporary drama at times familiar\, resonates\, we are “involuntarily” complicit in it. An overview of stereotypes\, of already seen\, already said\, acted upon. The little theatre of human misery: body and voice at the service of a painful chorus that echoes “The Frogs” by Aristophanes\, or perhaps an operetta by Offenbach\, or the famous Brechtian “Opera”. Staticity and immobility in response to the imminent\, evident collapse (physical\, political\, social\, environmental…). We can’t do anything about it\, too late\, game over; we watch helplessly\, we take note of it\, we shrug\, sigh and turn around again. \nIn the question “what is happening around us?” lies the genesis of this creation: a deepening of the international current affairs and the search for connections between the present forms of protest – rarely based on the idea of human evolution and revolution – and the historical Enlightenment (enlightened) vision\, which puts Culture and Art at the centre of change.\nA creation that once again leads the Company to investigate contemporary social issues\, through an amphibious language of strong impact and a complex dramaturgical level in support of the work. \nC&C Company \nC&C Company was born from the union between Carlo Massari and Chiara Taviani\, performers with an eclectic background\, in the last decade on international stages as interpreters and creators of different companies. The debut of the first work in 2011: Corpo e Cultura (Body and Culture) immediately highlighted a strong vocation of the Company in search of a necessary physical language\, strongly dramaturgical\, in close relation with contemporary social issues. This was followed by the international debuts of: “Maria Addolorata”\, “Tristissimo” (AnticorpiXL)\, “012”\, “Peurbleue”\, “Don’t Be Afraid”\, “Dead Weight”\, “Beast Without Beauty”. They have received prestigious awards\, among them: “1st” Hiver Oclytes/Les Hivernales (F)\, “2nd” Hannover International Choreographers Competition (D)\, “2nd” Zawirowania Competition (PL)\, “Audience Award” Konzert Theater Berne (CH)\, “Finalist” Machol Shalem Dance Competition (I)\, “Special Mention” Premio Roma Danza (IT)\, “2nd” Corto in Danza (IT)\, Premio Palco Aperto (IT)\, “1st” E “Premio del Pubblico” CrashTest\, “1°” Premio Twain.\nIn these years\, in parallel with the production activity\, have taken life performative projects with public participation: ContaminAzioni\, SpringRoll (RomaEuropa ’16)\, Femminile Plurale. Currently the Company is engaged in the development of the extensive research “Beast Without Beauty”\, which sees within it the alternation of social projects and international co-productions.\nSince 2017 the artistic direction of the Company has been entrusted to Carlo Massari. \nceccompany.org \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS\nIn compliance with anti-Covid regulations\, tickets can only be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it up to one hour before the performance.\nTherefore tickets cannot be booked by phone or by e-mail. \nThe ticket service in the Fonderia is suspended. \nTickets are not numbered. \nENTRANCE\nYou can enter the Fonderia 15 minutes before the performance\, showing your online purchase.\nAt the entrance\, the temperature will be tested and if the temperature exceeds 37.5°C\, you will not be allowed to enter and you must fill in the Covid self-certification form.\nIn order to avoid queues at the entrance\, please download the Covid self-certification form (it must be submitted on paper) and fill it in beforehand. SUMMARY:Frammenti d’Inferno_1 - OPEN REHEARSAL
DESCRIPTION:OPEN REHEARSAL\nFrammenti d’Inferno_ 1 brings the author’s focus to the representation of the demons and damned of the infernal hosts\, to the investigation of the characters that the Poet encounters on his journey and the torments reserved for them. A succession of choreographic pictures\, with different music and atmospheres. Characters chosen by the choreographer to investigate the human soul and compose a poetic and fascinating picture\, perturbing\, in which every archetype of the collective unconscious finds its own carnal and earthly manifestation. Dissipating\, as Dante did\, the darkness that envelops these famous damned souls and bringing them to the light\, literally under the spotlight\, Monica Casadei chooses to follow them along a path of sin\, awareness\, acceptance\, where the point of arrival is no longer punishment but the expressive power of the Ego\, in its fullness and truth. \nCREDITS \nChoreography\, direction Monica Casadei\nMusic Giuseppe Verdi\nSound design Luca Vianini\nProduction Compagnia Artemis Danza\nCo-production FIND Festival \n  \nCOMPAGNIA ARTEMIS DANZA \nOriginally from Ferrara\, Monica Casadei graduates in philosophy cum laude writing a dissertation on dance in Plato’s system.
