SUMMARY:MOODBOARD
DESCRIPTION:Exploring the human soul through dance: Moodboard is an evening composed of four choreographies by young authors\, presented by Nutida Festival and Stazione Utopia. Much more than just a series of dance performances\, Moodboard is an exciting and engaging journey that explores the human spirit through the beauty of movement. Each piece carries with it a unique story\, a profound message\, and a personal vision of the world. From the life and fragility of Marilyn Monroe to the complexity of human relationships\, from the duality of life choices to the mysterious phases of the moon: each performance offers an intimate and powerful look into our existence. \nMM is a powerful exploration of the life and fragility of Marilyn Monroe through dance\, accompanied by the choreography of Giovanni Insaudo. Lunatica tells of a dreamlike journey through the phases of the moon\, interpreted by Matilde Di Ciolo and Veronica Galdo. The choreography by Roberto Doveri captures the enigma of the stars and transforms movement into poetry. IN(10)SION is an exploration of human duality and the choices that define our path in life. Through the choreography of Isabella Giustina and the performance of Beatrice Ciattini\, the show invites reflection on one’s own certainties. Closing the evening\, LANDSCAPE: based on the work of Harold Pinter – Paesaggio – explores the complexity of human relationships through two simultaneous monologues. The choreography by Alice Catapano offers a profound look at the modes of interaction within a couple\, misunderstandings\, and communicative short circuits. \nIn continuity with the philosophy of the Nutida Festival in Scandicci\, the audience will be offered an aperitif at Fonderia\, starting from 8:00 PM. \nCREDITS \nArtistic Direction Nutida Festival Cristina Bozzolini and Saverio Cona\nPerformers Mooniba Ensemble \nProduction Nutida Festival/Stazione Utopia\n \nMM\nChoreography Giovanni Insaudo\nDancer Veronica Galdo with the participation of Niccolò Poggini Music by Nick Cave & Warren Ellis \nDuration 12 minutes \n— \nLUNATICA\nChoreography Roberto Doveri\nDancers Matilde Di Ciolo and Veronica Galdo\nMusic by Tale of Us \nCo-production Nutida Festival\, NBDT \nDuration 7 minutes \nWinner of “Produktionspreis Theater Pforzheim” and “Scapino Produktionspreis” for the competition “34 International choreographic competition Hannover 2020” \n— \nIN(10)SIONE\nChoreography Isabella Giustina\nDancer Beatrice Ciattini\nMusic by Raime\, Svarte Greiner\n \nDuration 17 minutes \n— \nLANDSCAPE\nChoreography Alice Catapano\nDancers Alice Catapano\, Matteo Capetola\nMusic by Soaking – The Starwheel – Undercurrent / Watershed \nCo-production Nutida Festival\, NBDT \nDuration 18 minutes \nSTAZIONE UTOPIA \nStazione Utopia is a cooperative – social enterprise for culture\, entertainment\, and social activities. \nFounded in 2010\, it carries out activities on behalf of public and private institutions including theaters\, museums\, foundations\, contemporary art festivals\, and research centers in the music field\, as well as developing national and international projects. SUMMARY:A LOT OF / SEHNSUCHT
DESCRIPTION:  \n\nA LOT OF\nIn constant search. The need for the other. Avidity for contact\, scents\, and flavors. Freed from the inhibitory brake of modesty and social conventions\, what could happen? Are we all animals? How much can we desire those around us? How much and how many can we love? Two bodies\, then one\, and suddenly three. Unexpected events and probabilities. Rhythms and rituals that beat\, intertwine\, and distort. The unnatural grace of Nijinski. The predatory instinct belongs to the human DNA. Marking territory becomes a game\, imagining becomes a necessity. How much space do we have in our body\, in our mind\, and in our soul? How much can we host within ourselves? Hunger. \nDISCOVER MORE \nThe number 3 is a constant in the work: 3 performers on stage\, 3 different authors\, 3 musical compositions\, 3 historical characters\, 3 parts. \nThe first of the three parts is a duet inspired by L’Après-midi d’un Faune\, choreographed by Nijinsky in 1912. In the original work\, the author addresses the theme of uncontrollable sexual impulse\, which gives rise to a huge sense of guilt. In his Diaries\, written seven years after the ballet\, it is evident that the choreographer was inspired by his own life with Dyagilev\, whom he was in love with. From this arises his inner contrast\, due on one hand to the moral censorship of the times and on the other to the strong attraction to the prostitutes he frequented. \nThe second part is a solo built on the constant and repeated search for virility and eroticism already unwittingly inherent in popular memory. A plunge into sacrifice\, a ritual aimed at a higher pleasure. Carnal movements that clash with the most sensual delicacies. A body that observes and scrutinizes. A body that screams and savors. A body that nestles on familiar melodies sinking into ancestral memories. \nThe third part tells an ancient love story by origin\, contemporary by definition. On stage\, two bodies that love each other until a third takes the place of one of the two\, a new couple is formed but briefly\, they become a trio; the triangle composed of the legendary Vaslav Nijinsky\, Countess Romola de Pulszky\, and impresario Sergei Pavlovich Dyagilev takes shape on stage through tenderness\, passion\, voyeurism\, fun\, anger\, and loneliness. Romola’s strength\, Nijinsky’s will\, Dyagilev’s fury intertwine in forms\, trajectories\, patterns\, explosions. Three people who love each other. Is this also love? What moves their souls and their bodies? \nThe music starts from the reworking of two immortal works: L’Après-midi d’un Faune by Debussy and Le Sacre du Printemps by Stravinsky. The themes are re-elaborated and deconstructed with an electro-acoustic approach\, the harmonic material reiterated in an almost cathartic manner in order to underline the erotic and mad nuances of Nijinsky’s tormented poetry. Musical repetition is a fundamental part of the process\, the matrix of a primitive feeling refined into modern man\, a victim of love and its consequences. \n\n  \n\n  \nSEHNSUCHT\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSehnsucht is a key word of the German romantic spirit\, embodying a typical concept of romantic culture\, rendered in Italian as “longing dependence”. Heidegger\, on the other hand\, identifies a different meaning\, as Sucht is to be understood in its original sense as “pain”: “Nostalgia is the pain of the nearness of the distant”.\nSehnsucht means desiring to reach the limit that separates it from the next\, to discover it\, to show it\, to touch it. Bodies alone but dependent\, investigating\, in a common space\, their limits in relation to the body\, space\, time\, and the other. The dancers enter into a system of movement where each element outlines the coordinates of choreographic scores characterized by unusual directions\, accelerations\, suspensions\, falls\, balances\, and interruptions of dynamics. \nDISCOVER MORE \nThe music\, specially composed for the performance by Filippo Ripamonti\, plays a role in defining the space created by the dancers\, also through the use of reverbs and source tracking. The music expands until it breaks these boundaries with an anthropomorphic music\, no longer tied to the distance between molecules but to the distance between people. \nThe creation seeks to go beyond the choreographic container itself\, in an instantaneous composition\, different with each repetition. The dancers enter into a score of spatial and temporal coordinates\, with a vocabulary of movement to draw from each time to write a new relationship\, a new choreography\, in search of contact with the other\, of reconciliation\, of unity. \nThe choreographic flow in which the performers immerse themselves evolves and slowly reveals the internal relationships\, questioning the limit\, which forces them to constant attention to the group\, to change\, to instant reaction. \nIn this system\, bodies seek each other\, find each other\, and explore contact anew\, a new way of living the relationship in which the audience recognizes itself\, living with hope and craving the performative act. \n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \nCREDITS \nA LOT OF \nby Nicolò Abbattista and Christian Consalvo\nmusic by Filippo Ripamonti\nwith Giovanni Careccia\, Enrico Luly\, and Gioele Cosentino\ncostumes by Leonardo Rossi\nco-production FLIC – Festival Lanciano in Contemporanea \nDURATION 40′ \n— \nSEHNSUCHT \na performance by Nicolò Abbattista and Christian Consalvo\nmusic by Filippo Ripamonti\nwith Maria Chiara Bono\, Chiara Borghini\, Giovanni Careccia\, Gioele Cosentino\, Arianna Cunsolo\, Francesca Lastella\, Enrico Luly\, and Davide Galuppi\nwith the support of Time To Move\, Teatrino dei Fondi\, Consorzio Coreografi Danza d’Autore Con.Cor.D.A\, Residenze Artistiche Toscane \nDURATION 30′ \nThe Lost Movement company is now supported by Sanpapié\, Dance production organism supported by MiC \nCOMPAGNIA LOST MOVEMENT \nThe Lost Movement Company was founded in 2011 from an idea by Nicolò Abbattista\, in collaboration with Christian Consalvo. SUMMARY:FORM 0
DESCRIPTION: Visible things can be invisible. If someone rides a horse in a forest\, first you see them\, then not\, but you know they are there. In the White Signature\, the horsewoman hides the trees\, and the trees in turn hide her. However\, our thought encompasses both the visible and the invisible. And I use painting to make thought visible.\nR. Magritte \nThe perfect balance of forms can be satisfying… but also unsettling.\nStarting from the fascination with symmetry understood as a compositional tool to convey harmony\, and from the multiple symbolic meanings of the mirror in the arts\, in FORM 0\, his first female duo\, Riccardo Buscarini explores symmetry as a place of disharmony and conflict.\nHow can a dialogue be possible if we see ourselves while looking at the other?\nWhat happens if similarity leads us to merge into each other and lose our identity? \nFrom a distorted mirror emerges a monstrous image. \nNext: FORM 0 – Looking at symmetry \nMeeting with the audience moderated by artist and researcher Eleonora Marzani\, who will introduce the themes of symmetry and the mirror underlying the creative process of this work. \n\n  \nCREDITS \nConcept / Choreography: Riccardo Buscarini\nDance: Annalisa Perricone\, Giulia Quacqueri\nOriginal music by Alessandro Baldessari assisted by Luca Felici: “Nostalgia for Nothing” (A.Baldessari) and Sonata for Piano No. 3\, Op. 2 No. 3\, in C Major (L. SUMMARY:Made in Italy 31.0
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n  \nDouble Repertoire:\nThursday\, April 18th – 9:00 PM\nFriday\, April 19th – 9:00 PM \nThe protagonists of the evening are the dancers of Agora Coaching Project\, a high-level training project promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D Progetto Danza of Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli. Initiated in 2010\, the course is gaining full recognition in the European dance world and boasts collaborations with internationally renowned teachers and choreographers. \nALLEGRO by Maša Kolar\n \nAllegro is a choreography focused on the character of Leonard Bernstein\, presented through the environment in which he excelled best\, namely music in all its forms. Hence\, one of his most significant interpretations has been chosen\, namely the orchestral direction of Beethoven’s nine symphonies. In addition to the music\, the choreography focuses on Bernstein’s live performance and observes his conducting gesture: since the specificity of this gesture is individual and authentic for each conductor\, Bernstein’s cheerful and joyful character takes center stage\, marked in music by the term Allegro. \nThese two key concepts\, ‘allegro’ tempo and the conductor’s gesture\, have become the backbone of this work: it has led to five separate units but united by these concepts. The conductor’s gestures range from very abstract ones transferred to the entire body to very concrete gestures\, such as using the conductor’s baton with which the dancers communicate and/or manipulate other people. \nThe very form of the stage through the set design (white chairs) and costumes (black uniforms) suggests an orchestra. It is this form that has allowed structuring five different scenes while maintaining a sense of unity and integrity. Through their dance\, gestures\, mutual manipulations\, and the play of chairs\, the dancers dissolve and reconstruct each scene\, establishing a constantly changing idea of the orchestra’s hierarchy. \nThe working experience that young dancers gather within the Agora Coaching Project\, in encountering the various choreographic languages of authors who have built these same or similar choreographies with professionals\, is very intense\, exciting\, and also very precious. This is the moment when these young dance talents\, still under the protection of the Agora project\, appear before their future audience\, dancing choreographies with an ever-new aesthetic of an unknown choreographer. The dynamics created in facing the artistic uncertainty of this project are an important educational tool. For me\, it has been a great pleasure to be part of this significant moment of transformation for young dancers. – Maša Kolar \n\nLAST MOVEMENT OF HOPE – I CHAPTER by Adriano Bolognino \n“In this historical moment that unites us all\, marked by fear\, instability\, and the unknown\, it seems to us that our lives cannot follow the paths we had imagined. Every brick of our constructions seems to crumble with each new shock. Wars\, environmental phenomena\, our world is collapsing on us\, and we are increasingly defenseless\, waiting\, because often we do not have the opportunity to have power\, or positions that allow us to react or decide. We are all in the same condition\, but isn’t it true that we all have the same possibilities of action\, whether of thought or physical? We do not act or escape. \nEscaping from all this evil\, even if it costs us so much\, would seem the most serene path; and we struggle tremendously to continue searching for that glimmer of hope that can make us still believe in this life. Hoping for a new place perhaps\, made of security and love. We are an army of nothing\, finding ourselves fighting against unbeatable monsters\, crushed by forces we cannot confront\, destroyed by our own wars. And like fearless knights\, driven by great dreams\, we encounter this tortuous path\, unaware\, or perhaps forced to fight for ideals that are not our own. Like a mother carrying her precious creature in her womb\, adding and not destroying those bricks that each of us is slowly placing in our own path. \nI would like to create a dance that could be a soundtrack of what we are experiencing through intersecting relationships with ourselves and others; experienced all in the same space\, a place of the past\, present\, and a different future. The same fears\, the same difficulties\, the same last movement of hope. An adventure\, a journey into weakness\, perhaps futility\, of the human being\, which\, however\, always carries with it the great strength of those who rise when everything seems to give nothing more than demolition. A moment of reflection also regarding our relationship with the planet that hosts us\, and that perhaps we are no longer able to care for and manage. A dialogue with nature\, not only enlightening of how small we are compared to it but also of how ungrateful we have been and still are in killing life in its entirety. Almost as if to overturn the famous Dialogue between Nature and an Islander by Giacomo Leopardi. Bringing it back to our reality\, where we ourselves harm\, striking all nature\, to which we foolishly still assign blame. A last movement\, that is one of renewed energy and awareness. SUMMARY:Made in Italy 31.0
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n“`html \n  \nDouble Repertoire:\nThursday\, April 18th – 9:00 PM\nFriday\, April 19th – 9:00 PM \nThe protagonists of the evening are the dancers of Agora Coaching Project\, a high-level training project promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D Progetto Danza of Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli. A dialogue with nature\, not only enlightening of how small we are compared to it but also of how un \ngrateful we have been and still are in killing life in its entirety. SUMMARY:MELTING POT 0116 - ROBERTO ZAPPALÀ / PREMIERE
DESCRIPTION:Melting Pot 0116 is a work that\, as the title suggests\, brings together in an original composition fragments of various creations realized over time by Roberto Zappalà. In particular\, sequences from 74bpm from I am beautiful (2016)\, 24 préludes (2007)\, and Mediterraneo (2001) – all productions for his company – are included\, along with I’m a good cook. Spaghetti anybody?\, a creation made in 2004 for the Swedish company Norrdans\, and sud-virus\, commissioned by the Goteborg Ballet in 2011. Within this interweaving of choreographies that have marked his creative journey\, the choreographer will create a new section\, specifically conceived for this production. \nThe main idea is to emancipate the work\, constantly questioning it through new choreographic interventions designed for the dancers of the moment: an ever-evolving melting pot. \n“In addition to developing new parts\, some scenes from old works have been recovered and reworked\, bringing a new and fresh gesturality\, the result of renewed physical confrontation. Visionary images\, interrupted spaces\, poetic gestures to traverse a path made of gestural measure but also of its opposite. A summary born a few years ago but which with each reprisal is drained of the past and flooded with the future” – Roberto Zappalà \n  \n\n  \nCREDITS \nDirection and Choreography: Roberto Zappalà\nMusic: Johann Sebastian Bach\, Puccio Castrogiovanni\, Frédéric Chopin\, Lautari\, Gustav Mahler\, Salvo Farruggio\, Giovanni Sollima\nArtistic Coordination: Silvia Oteri and Fernando Roldan Ferrer\nPerformers: Benedetta Agostinis\, Giulia Berretta\, Siria Cacco\, Melania Caggegi\, Andrea Rachele Bruno\, Laura Finocchiaro\, William Mazzei\, Paola Tosto\, Alessandra Verona\nSet\, Lighting\, and Costumes: Roberto Zappalà\nCostume Production: Majoca\nTechnical Direction: Sammy Torrisi\nTour Management: Federica Cincotti\nGeneral Management: Maria Inguscio \nA co-production by Scenario Pubblico|Compagnia Zappalà Danza-Centro di Rilevante Interesse per la Danza and Menhir/Le danzatrici en plein air –\nIn collaboration with Asti Teatro Festival and Centro Coreografico Nazionale/Aterballetto – with the support of MiC Ministry of Culture and Sicilian Region Department of Tourism\, Sports and Entertainment \nWORLD PREMIERE April 12\, 2024 Centro Coreografico Nazionale/Aterballetto \nBIOS \nCOMPAGNIAZAPPALÀDANZA2 \nThe compagniazappalàdanza2 is composed of dancers selected from the MoDem PRO program\, a valuable pool from which the company itself has drawn over the years for its members. \nFrom 2023\, a new chapter begins for CZD2. The main goal will be to focus on preserving the repertoire of Compagnia Zappalà Danza. \nThe reflection that Roberto Zappalà has been carrying forward for some time will find concreteness in the learning\, development\, and finally in the staging of the great\, medium\, and small historical productions of the choreographer’s repertoire. \nThe importance of repertoire in the context of dance at a national and international level is a theme that Zappalà has been dedicated to for many years. This dedication concerns not only the preservation of his own works but is aimed at all contemporary choreography\, which over time has proven to be a tool for research and authentic representation of the thought of each choreographer. \nIn recent years\, CZD2 has demonstrated remarkable maturity and has been constantly enriched by the presence of dancers from the new generations\, possessing excellent technical qualities as well as creative sensitivity\, with a strong predisposition to the MoDem language\, which represents the essence of Roberto Zappalà’s poetics. It is precisely these qualities that now lead CZD2 to take on the important task of preserving and keeping alive the choreographer’s repertoire. \nRoberto Zappalà \nRoberto Zappalà is the artistic director and choreographer of Compagnia Zappalà Danza\, which he founded in 1990 in Catania. He has created over 80 productions exclusively for his company\, mostly full-length works. His creations “A.semu tutti devoti tutti?” (2009\, reprised in 2019) and “La Nona-dal caos\, il corpo” (2015) received the Danza&Danza Italian Production of the Year Award. \nArticulated projects have accompanied the creative journey of the Catania-born choreographer\, from ‘re-mapping-sicily\,’ an unpublished reinterpretation of Sicily through his personal language\, to ‘Transiti Humanitatis\,’ with which he continues to narrate humanity through gestures and the body\, their history\, their transformation over time and space\, or conversely their immutable permanence. \nHe has collaborated with various companies\, including Balletto di Toscana\, the Ballet School of Teatro alla Scala in Milan\, Norrdans (S)\, ArtEZ Arnhem (NL)\, Fondazione Theaterwerkplaats Generale Oost (NL)\, Goteborg Ballet/Opera di Goteborg (S). In 2011\, he created the choreography for the opening ceremony of the Fencing World Championships. In 2016\, he curated the project Insieme – Parata Urbana for Torinodanza and the Défilée of the Lyon Biennale. \nHe has collaborated with opera directors such as Federico Tiezzi\, Daniele Abbado\, and Giorgio Barberio Corsetti\, and with international artists including Giovanni Sollima\, Paolo Fresu\, Fabio Vacchi\, Puccio Castrogiovanni\, Vincenzo Pirrotta\, Luca Ballerini\, Alfio Antico\, Gianluigi Trovesi\, Nello Toscano\, and others. \nWith Christian Graupner (Humatic\, Berlin)\, he created the interactive installation “MindBox\,” which won second prize at the Guthman Musical Instrument Competition (Atlanta/USA 2011). La Malcor D’ published his book Omnia Corpora on the methodology of his work. \nRoberto Zappalà is responsible for the recovery and conception of Scenario Pubblico in Catania\, inaugurated in 2002\, the headquarters of Compagnia Zappalà Danza and a rare example in Italy of a choreographic center. In 2015\, Scenario Pubblico|Compagnia Zappalà Danza was recognized as a National Dance Production Center by MiC and in 2022 received an upgrade to C.R.I.D. (Center of Relevant Interest for Dance). \nHis choreographic style\, after years of movement research with his dancers\, has become a language with its own well-defined and unique identity called MoDem Democratic Movement. Every year\, Roberto Zappalà selects a group of dancers from the MoDem Pro program who merge into CZD2 compagniazappalàdanza2. \nRoberto Zappalà is an associated artist of the MilanOltre festival for the 2022-2024 triennium. Among the numerous awards received\, he received the National Association of Theater Critics Award (2013) and the Hystrio Award ‘corpo a corpo’ (2022). \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS \nFull price: 10 euros \nTICKET PURCHASE \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it \nThe ticket service at Fonderia is active one hour before the start of the show \nTickets are not numbered \nCONTACTS \nPhone and WhatsApp: 3341023554 \nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:Book presentation "Se danzare non mi basta" by Cristina Bozzolini.
DESCRIPTION:  \nVENERDÌ 5 APRILE\, ALLE ORE 19.00\, IN FONDERIA\, IN COLLABORAZIONE CON NARDINI EDITORE\, PRESENTIAMO IL LIBRO SE DANZARE NON MI BASTA DI CRISTINA BOZZOLINI. CON L’EVENTO RICORDIAMO SILVIA POLETTI\, GIORNALISTA\, CRITICA\, CONSULENTE ARTISTICA INTERNAZIONALE PER LA DANZA\, CURATRICE DELL’OPERA.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf Dancing Is Not Enough traces the career and life of Cristina Bozzolini\, offering a glimpse into the international dance world\, the political and social climate of her beloved Florence\, and the artistic experiments with Aterballetto. A book written and curated by women\, tireless professionals and leading figures in the field\, addressing struggles for culture and the affirmation of women and artists in society. \nAmong its pages flow the memories of a major protagonist in Italian dance and the artistic expressions that are part of it: from the 1960s when she was Prima Ballerina of the Ballet Company of the Florence May Music Festival\, to the memorable performances alongside artists such as Nureyev\, Fracci\, Baryshnikov\, to the founding of the Center for Dance Studies\, to the establishment of the Balletto di Toscana\, to the direction of Aterballetto\, a national excellence. The common thread of her professional and life experience is the struggle for the affirmation of civil rights and for a just society\, in which cultural education must be the engine for development. \nThe meeting is hosted by Maria Luisa Buzzi\, editor-in-chief of the magazine Danza&Danza\, and includes interventions by choreographers and dancers who had Cristina as their director and mentor\, such as the award-winning Philippe Kratz. \nAt the end of the presentation\, the dancers of Compagnia Aterballetto will offer the audience a dance surprise. \nFree admission with reservation (whatsapp 3341023554 | info@aterballetto.it) until seats are filled.\nBar service available from 18:00. \nDuring the meeting\, it will be possible to purchase the book\, and Cristina Bozzolini will be available to sign copies. \nIf Dancing Is Not Enough can be purchased here.

SUMMARY:DECISIONE CONSAPEVOLE - ROBERTO TEDESCO / Körper
SUMMARY:ONDE - SIMONA BERTOZZI/NEXUS
E allora quegli anemoni\, quelle falene\, quei granchi che ci sembra di intravedere sono forse solo vibrazione\, identità mutanti come le maree.\nMaria Luisa Buzzi\, Danza&Danza \n  \n\n \nCREDITS \nConcept and choreography Simona Bertozzi \nPerformers Arianna Brugiolo\, Rafael Candela\, Valentina Foschi \nOriginal music performed live Luca Perciballi \nLighting design Rocio Espana Rodriguez \nCostumes Vicini D’Istanti \nPhoto and video Luca Del Pia \nOrganization Miriana Erario \nPress and communication Michele Pascarella \nDuration 60’ \nProduction: Nexus\, in coproduction with Festival Danza Estate\, Operaestate Festival Veneto/CSC. One of the pioneers of the revolutions in twentieth-century choreographic art\, Loïe Fuller\, was the subject of her thesis. At a young age\, she trained in artistic gymnastics and classical dance\, then delved into the study of contemporary dance in Italy and various countries including France\, Spain\, Belgium\, and England. She has collaborated extensively as a performer\, including with choreographers Tomas Aragay (Societat Doctor Alonso-Spain) and\, from 2005 to 2010\, with Virgilio Sieni. She began her choreographic activity in 2005\, embarking on a research and production path working with professional dancers and performers\, as well as with children\, teenagers\, amateurs\, asylum seekers\, and second-generation young immigrants. Simona Bertozzi practices a dance in which choreography constitutes a territory of events\, a complex system inhabited by the body\, resulting from practices\, thoughts\, and disciplines that make creation a layered entity\, in dialogue with the present. In 2007\, she won the GD’A choreographic competition (Young Dance Authors of Emilia Romagna) and in 2008 she founded the Compagnia Simona Bertozzi | Associazione Culturale Nexus. Over the years\, her projects have received support and hospitality from important regional\, Italian\, and European circuits\, through co-productions and choreographic residencies with national and international circulation. In 2008\, she was the Italian choreographer selected for the Aerowaves festival\, The Place Theatre (London)\, and in the same year\, with the solo Terrestre\, she took part in the international Choreoroam project\, supported by the British Council/The Place\, Dansateliers/Rotterdam\, and Bassano Opera Festival. With the collective Gemelli Kessler (Simona Bertozzi\, Marcello Briguglio\, Celeste Taliani)\, she won the 2009 Electronic Choreographer award for best independent production with the video dance work: Terrestre-movement in still life. In 2012\, the collective was involved in the creation of I was wondering\, a video dance piece created for the centenary of the birth of Michelangelo Antonioni. Over the years\, important collaborations have been consolidated with artists and scholars including: Francesco Giomi artistic director of Tempo Reale\, Enrico Pitozzi and Cristiana Natali professors at the University of Bologna\, Egle Sommacal musician and guitarist of Massimo Volume\, Angela Baraldi actress and singer\, and Tabea Martin choreographer and dancer with whom she co-created This is my last dance\, a work that had significant European circulation including the Swiss Dance Days. \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETSFull price: 10 euros \nTICKET PURCHASE \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at Fonderia is active from 7:30 PM. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and WhatsApp: 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:COL TEMPO - AMBRA SENATORE
DESCRIPTION:Ambra Senatore loves to surprise and mischievously lead the audience along paths\, true or false\, with which she plays and makes fun of the spectator. As always in her choreographies\, characters take shape\, situations and stories develop. Unexpected discrepancies\, absurdity\, and distraction from reality are the main ingredients of her choreographies. Ambra Senatore wants to create amazement\, she sets out to provoke laughter. A keen observer of the human world\, she is always attentive\, being different is her second nature and she gives precise meaning to her dance. That’s why she often breaks the fourth wall\, becoming a confidant of the spectators\, playing with them and engaging them. Ten years after her first group choreography entitled Passo\, Ambra Senatore dedicates herself to a new creation with the complicity of the performers from that time. She now brings together this group of dancers\, now well-seasoned after ten years of working together\, to create a generous and open dance towards the other; a pas de quatre on being a group\, questioning existence and desiring happiness. \n \n                      \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n  \nCREDITS \nCoreography Ambra Senatore with the participation of the performers\nInterpretation Caterina Basso\, Claudia Catarzi\, Matteo Ceccarelli\, Ambra Senatore \nOriginal Music Jonathan SeilmanLighting Fausto BonviniDuration 1hProduction CNN de Nantes \nCo-production Théâtre de La Ville (Paris)\, Torinodanza Festival/Teatro Stabile – Teatro Nazionale Torino \nCHOREOGRAPHY \n“We started rehearsals at the end of January 2020\, and one of the basic reasons was reflection on the creative act in the historical\, political\, and social context: a reflection also inspired by interesting encounters with scientists and philosophers with different views on the world and the present\, realized through the project Conversation\, dialogue ouvert avec la danse. Being a small community part of a much larger community\, we wondered what our desires were and how to achieve them together. Some of them can be realized on stage. And the others? Not always finding the answers\, we meanwhile played with the questions. Shortly after the start of rehearsals\, time stopped for everyone. For a long time\, compressing. Rehearsal weeks were cut in half. The desires and questions no longer had anything to do with the unexpected experience of the last few months. At the time I write these lines\, the show does not yet exist. It will exist thanks to the encounter with the spectators. Creating a show is like traveling: you prepare\, you rehearse\, but there are always many surprises and unexpected events. We are at the beginning of the journey and I do not know exactly what form it will take. Certainly\, the desire to dance and feel good together is present from the beginning\, with the hope that it will be possible on a large scale.”Ambra Senatore \nAMBRA SENATORE \nAMBRA SENATORE \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAmbra Senatore\, choreographer and performer\, director of the Centre Chorégraphique National de Nantes. Ambra Senatore’s dance is close to human beings and loves to go out and meet people and places. The choreographer creates works that speak of collectivity and create bonds between people. Relationships are at the heart of all her research. In her work\, everyday life is “observed under a magnifying glass\,” shifted and turned upside down. A lover of surprises\, cuts\, and repetitions reminiscent of cinema\, Ambra Senatore recomposes reality like a film director. In Italy\, she trained with R. Castello and R. Giordano\, with whom she soon collaborated. As a performer\, she has worked with J. C. Gallotta\, G. Rossi\, G. Lavaudant\, and A. Tagliarini. In the early 2000s\, she created pieces in collaboration while completing a doctorate in contemporary dance. In 2004\, she began writing choreographies with solos\, which she performed until 2009\, and then with group pieces\, asserting her hybrid style that combines dance\, theater\, and profound humanity. As director of the CCN in Nantes since 2016\, Ambra Senatore promotes a generous and curious style of dance (site-specific creations in public parks\, markets\, schools\, museums\, heritage sites\, train stations\, etc.)\, which she considers a means of sharing and knowing oneself and others.\nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETSFull price: 10 euros \nTICKET PURCHASE \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at Fonderia is available from 5:00 PM. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and WhatsApp: 3341023554 \nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it \n\n

SUMMARY:OPEN REHEARSAL - Corpi violati #DjOperaNoir
DESCRIPTION:Translation leaving HTML code:   \nIn CorpiViolati \, a community of bodies\, both feminine and masculine\, thrives\, thirteen in total\, bound by the memory of a wound. Whether still open or healed\, this wound reverberates on the stage in an incessant dance fueled by impulses\, instincts\, anger\, and pain\, where overwhelming group dances alternate with duets and solos\, and vulnerable bodies stand alongside violent and ruthless bodies of aggressors upon whom a veil of pity never descends\, at least until they themselves become victims. \nBorn from the search for testimonies of rape and abuse victims and from improvisational work in the studio with the dancers\, Monica Casadei constructs a performance oscillating between raw realism and poetry dictated by a possible redemption. At its core\, the victims\, too often blamed and cornered in the lengthy judicial processes faced to obtain justice\, inhabit a bare stage dominated by two defendant benches and a backdrop of gold and black damask. Antithetical colors – on one side\, the brilliance and light of gold; on the other\, the enigmatic darkness of black – create a precious tapestry of an imaginary domestic hearth where respect and love should reign. Musically\, the remixed electronic samples by Fiandrini ebb and flow within the story in melodrama and symphonic music. \n  \n\n  \nCREDITS \nChoreography\, direction\, set design\, lighting\, and costumes by Monica Casadei.\nLive Electronics by Fabio Fiandrini.\nProduction by Compagnia Artemis Danza/Monica Casadei.\nCo-produced with Festival di Danza Contemporanea Teatro Comunale di Ferrara.\nIn collaboration with Comune di Rimini and Teatro Galli.\nWith the support of Ministero della Cultura\, Regione Emilia Romagna\, and Comune di Parma. \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 3 euros \nPURCHASE TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket service at Fonderia is available from 5:00 PM. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nPhone and whatsapp: 3341023554 \nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:OPEN REHEARSAL - Puccini’s Opera. Voci di donne
DESCRIPTION:  \nCompagnia Artemis Danza\, with this new creation by Monica Casadei\, dedicates its artistic project to the contemporary representation\, investigation\, and interpretation of four captivating heroines of the Lucchese composer: Tosca\, Madama Butterfly\, Mimì \, and Turandot. \nUnderstanding Puccini’s music involves analyzing its deep relationship with the female world. A clear message from the titles chosen for his most celebrated works: Tosca\, Butterfly\, Turandot\, La Bohème. A kaleidoscope of different personalities\, a universe full of facets\, sensitivities. In the four scenes that make up Puccini’s Opera\, recognizable even without any didactic necessity\, we find Casadei’s personal interpretation of the feminine theme\, placed at the center of a process of choreographic\, visual\, and musical reinterpretation. Tragic love\, thwarted and opposed love\, cruel love that annihilates\, the desire for possession that leads to destruction\, live in the faces\, bodies\, and gestures of the Company and continue to make us reflect on the relevance of stories that have moved audiences worldwide. The creation is permeated with a poignant atmosphere\, full of tension and poetic suggestion. \nAgainst Puccini’s orchestral score\, the electronic tracks of composers Luca Vianini and Fabio Fiandrini counterpose\, creating an enveloping and at times apocalyptic sound space. A choral dance\, swollen with impulses and passions\, instinctive and at times wild\, which makes a swirling use of space and appears\, also symbolically\, visually full: solos protected by frames of ensembles in a dynamic accelerated by propulsive forces make the drama and passions of the protagonists live in the body and guts. \n  \n\n  \nCREDITS \nChoreography\, direction\, set design\, lighting\, and costumes by Monica Casadei.\nMusic by Giacomo Puccini.\nMusical elaboration by Fabio Fiandrini. \nProduction by Compagnia Artemis Danza.\nCo-produced with Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Ferrara.\nWith the support of Ministero della Cultura\, Regione Emilia-Romagna – Assessorato alla Cultura\, Comune di Parma.

SUMMARY:THE RED SHOES - NBDT/PHILIPPE KRATZ
DESCRIPTION:  \nOpen rehearsal at 6:00 PM – Show at 8:30 PM \nDancers from the Nuovo Balletto di Toscana present The Red Shoes\, choreographed by the award-winning German choreographer Philippe Kratz\, based on the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. \nLike in the tale of the girl Karen and a pair of strange red shoes\, Andersen repeatedly challenges in his works the traditional juxtaposition between subject and object. Kratz’s creation\, with music specially composed by Pierfrancesco Perrone\, tackles this strangely unbreakable bond\, which is not only determined by functional utility or vain desire for possession but can also entail a loss of autonomy. The projections related to the desires that dominate our world of commodities and consumption are also reflected by dividing the stage space into two. In contrast to the fairy tale\, which ends with the violent liberation of the protagonist from the red shoes and her redemption\, Kratz’s choreography ultimately focuses on questioning the role of objects in interpersonal relationships. \nI don’t perceive Karen as disobedient or vain; a perspective that is emphasized in the fairy tale. Nowadays\, we are so accustomed to consuming and often see products as a means to an end\, to be noticed by others\, to relate to others\, and to emphasize our individuality. Karen also tries to connect with others and find security through the red shoes. She fails miserably in this. Yet\, what she seeks corresponds to a desire that many of us probably know: to belong to a collective and yet remain an individual.\nPhilippe Kratz \n  \n. \n  \n  \nCREDITS \nChoreography and set design: Philippe Kratz (Reggio Emilia/Leverkusen)\nDramaturgy: Sarah Ströbele (Leipzig/Magdeburg)\nMusic: Pierfrancesco Perrone\nLights: Giulia Maria Carlotta Pastore (Light Designer)\nCostumes: Grace Lyell (Paris)\nFirst Performance: October 19\, 2023\, Teatro Sociale Di Trento\nDuration: 60 Minutes\nPerformers: Nuovo Balletto Di Toscana\, 10 Danzatrici E Danzatori (Florence) \nTHE AUTHORS \nNUOVO BALLETTO DI TOSCANA \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Nuovo Balletto Di Toscana is a strictly professional production structure\, founded in 2018 with a team of 10 dancers. The artistic program of the Florentine company\, thanks also to a team of renowned collaborators and authors alongside Cristina Bozzolini\, reflects a constant and coherent cultural line with the affirmation of the primacy of contemporary choreography and a plurality of expressive languages.\n\nFor several years\, it has had a consolidated relationship with the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino\, with the representation of full-length ballets\, such as Diego Tortelli’s La Bella Addormentata and Jiří Bubeníček’s Cenerentola\, as well as participating in some operas such as: Le Villi choreographed by Susanna Sastro\, Fernando Cortez choreographed by Alessio Maria Romano\, and Die Fledermaus choreographed by Karl Schreiner.\n\nAt the same time\, the company has been engaged in a new creation by Arianna Benedetti\, staging the show titled Pulcinella\, Uno di Noi\, winner in 2019 of the SIAE Per chi crea grant. The collaborations of the NBDT also extend to other prestigious Italian theaters including La Fenice in Venice and the Teatro Regio in Parma\, and it is currently continuing its tours in Italy and abroad with Jiri Bubenicek’s Cenerentola\, Michele Di Stefano’s Bayadère – il regno delle ombre (awarded the Danza&Danza prize as best Italian production of 2021)\, Mario Bermùdez Gil’s Quatuor pour la fin du temps\, and Philippe Kratz’s Midnight Youth.\n\n\n\n\nPHILIPPE KRATZ \nWinner of the 32nd International Choreography Competition in Hannover and Choreographer of the Year 2019 (Danza&Danza)\, Kratz is known for his diverse compositional language that combines contemporary dance with technical elements from hip hop and European classical dance. He recently presented his choreography ‘Solitude Sometimes’ at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan\, sharing the evening with acclaimed authors in theaters worldwide such as Jiří Kylián\, Nacho Duato\, David Dawson\, invited by the director of the La Scala ballet corps Manuel Legris. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nINFO & TICKETS\n“`html \nTICKETS\nFull price: 10 euros \nTICKET PURCHASE \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at Fonderia is active from 5:00 PM. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nPhone and WhatsApp: 3341023554 \nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it

Kratz’s creation\, with music specially composed by Pierfrancesco Perrone\, addresses this strangely indissoluble bond\, which is not determined solely by functional utility or vain desire for possession but can also entail a loss of autonomy. The projections related to the desires that dominate our world of goods and consumption are also reflected by dividing the scenic space in two. In contrast to the fairy tale\, which ends with the violent liberation of the protagonist from the red shoes and her redemption\, Kratz’s choreography ultimately focuses on questioning the role of objects in interpersonal relationships. \nI don’t perceive Karen as disobedient or vain\, a perspective that is emphasized in the fairy tale. Nowadays\, we are so accustomed to consuming and often see products as a means to an end\, to get noticed by others\, to relate to others\, and to emphasize our individuality. Karen also tries to connect with others and find security through the red shoes. In this\, she fails miserably. Yet\, what she seeks corresponds to a desire that many of us probably know: to belong to a collective and yet remain an individual.\nPhilippe Kratz \n  \n. \n  \n  \nCREDITS \nChoreography and set design: Philippe Kratz (Reggio Emilia/Leverkusen)\nDramaturgy: Sarah Ströbele (Leipzig/Magdeburg)\nMusic: Pierfrancesco Perrone\nLights: Giulia Maria Carlotta Pastore (Light Designer)\nCostumes: Grace Lyell (Paris)\nFirst Performance: October 19\, 2023\, Teatro Sociale Di Trento\nDuration: 60 Minutes\nPerformers: Nuovo Balletto Di Toscana\, 10 dancers (Florence) \nAUTHORS \nNUOVO BALLETTO DI TOSCANA \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Nuovo Balletto Di Toscana is a strictly professional production structure\, founded in 2018 with a team of 10 dancers. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nINFO & TICKETS\n“`html \nTICKETS\nFull price: three euros \nTICKET PURCHASE \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at Fonderia is active from 5:00 PM. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nPhone and WhatsApp: 3341023554 \nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it \n“`

SUMMARY:OPEN REHEARSAL -LENA
DESCRIPTION:Lena is a performance that arises from an investigation into the gesture of pushing\, understood as a multifaceted relational gesture. \nThe object to which this research refers is the swing: an object of ancestral simplicity of which we all know the sensation and condition. An object capable of providing us with a specific and exclusive dynamic of movement. Starting from these premises and from the investigation around the swing object\, of which the playful dimension is also mentioned\, the performance focuses on the search for that gray area between play and violence\, between playful and sadistic\, between joke and spite. The push\, in its repetition\, changes meaning\, unleashes different imaginaries\, acquires new values: it is a gesture that in the relational sphere often defines roles of power and strength. \nThis research aims to investigate the different meanings that this gesture carries with it\, encapsulating them\, showing them\, and transforming them through the repetition of a dynamic. In this physical dialogue\, a mechanism of pushed and pushing bodies is composed\, a human machine made of actions and reactions\, in which the intention behind the gesture is lost and confused. \n  \nCREDITS \nThe research has developed through the exchange in the studio\, at different moments of the process\, with the performers Teodora Grano\, Chiara Luccisano\, Michael Incarbone\, Erica Bravini\, Daria Greco\, Elena Bastogi\, Luca Della CorteAnd with the Light Designer Francesco Tasselli \nPerformers Giulia Cannas\, Claudio Larena\, Marta Magini\nArtistic Consulting Sofia Naglieri\nSound Designer Lorenzo Minozzi\nLight Designer Francesco Tasselli \nProject supported by Artisti Associati; Associazione Culturale Chiasma; Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto \nAUTHORS \nCLAUDIO LARENA \nA young author and performer who explores the languages of installation\, dance\, and performance. After the studio debut of his first work at the RomaEuropaFestival 2020\, he continues his creative path with the conception of three new projects: -LENA; Le Spinte; Stiamo Lavorando per voi (ci scusiamo per il disagio). He trains by participating in workshops with national and international artists\, with particular attention to the performative field. His authorial projects always take different formats: urban performance and scenic writing; word performance and choreographic research. A craftsman by training\, he often questions the entity of objects\, their meanings\, and the physical\, historical\, or conceptual relationship that arises from our connection with them. \n  \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: three euros \nTICKET PURCHASE \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at Fonderia is active from 5:00 PM. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nPhone and WhatsApp: 3341023554 \nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:Anastasia - L'ultima figlia dello Zar
DESCRIPTION:“`html\n  \nBerlin\, 1920. A woman\, after being rescued from death in a canal and months of muteness in a hospital\, reveals herself to be Anastasia\, the last daughter of the Romanovs\, the Russian royals slaughtered by Bolshevik militias in 1918. A survivor. One of the most mysterious cases of the twentieth century. Is it her or isn’t it? \nOne detail could reveal it… the color of her eyes… the scar hidden beneath the clothes worn out by time and madness. A saying! A secret word never revealed that now passes from mouth to mouth. The people want her now. Is it me or isn’t it me? Memory will play with her image reflected in the hospital window glass\, closed off from the world; it will be revealed by the whistle of the train lost in the snow\, the music of a suddenly enchanting music box. A desire\, a dream\, a memory\, or reality? \nThe music keeps the beat and time passes\, fleeing like a horse\, relentless\, leaving behind particles of memory and desire\, which become a timeless dance. The dance bursts into space and\, in dialogue with the video projections\, recreates distant places that transform\, expand\, crumble the walls of that hospital in which Anastasia is trapped in the search for herself. \nBut is reality always necessary? \nShow suitable for an audience of all ages \n \n“` \n\n– \nCREDITS \nIdea by Roberta Ferrara \nDirection\, dramaturgy\, set design\, and lighting design by Michelangelo Campanale (artistic director of La luna nel letto)\nChoreography by Roberta Ferrara\nPerformers Antonello Amati and Moreno Guadalupi / Giulia Bertoni\, Serena Angelini\, and Rebecca Moriondo Visual artists Alessandro Vangi and Raffaele Fiorella\nNarrator Maria Pascale\nCostume designer Franco Colamorea\nProduction Equilibrio Dinamico Company and La luna nel letto \nTHE AUTHORS \nFERRARA ROBERTA \nRoberta Ferrara (1988) is the founder\, artistic director\, and choreographer since 2011 of Equilibrio Dinamico Dance Company\, based in the city of Bari\, Puglia\, Italy. Her methodology has cultivated a perpetual nursery of future dance generations\, fostering synergistic educational and cultural exchanges with various formations in England\, India\, Japan\, and Korea. \nGraduating in Modern Literature with a focus on Theater Culture from the University of Bari A.Moro\, Ferrara wrote an experimental thesis on the value of instinctive movement as a therapeutic gift for both dancers and non-dancers. As a passionate pedagogue\, her research expands through immersive studies with various artists in techniques\, practices\, and languages of international contemporary dance. This combination forms the basis for her personal creative work dedicated to a poetics always connected to human beings and their inner universe\, creating her own teaching methodology that addresses multiple levels of perception: body – mind – spirit. \nShe has been a guest for various renowned dance institutions\, including Theater Basel (CH)\, Teatrul de Balet Sibiu (RO)\, English National Ballet School (UK)\, Delattre Dance Company (DE)\, Northern School of Contemporary Dance (UK)\, Copenhagen Dance Festival (DNK)\, Conservatorio Professional de Danza\, Lugo (ES)\, Korea Ballet House (KR)\, Staatstheater Augsburg (DE)\, Conservatorio Internacional Annarella Sanchez (PT)\, Eko Dance Project (IT)\, Experimental Film Virginia (USA)\, Teatro Moravo Olomuc (CZ)\, Odt (SGP). \nHer creations have been selected and invited to various international festivals\, including Masdanza\, FIDCMX Mexico\, Cortoindanza\, Network Danza Urbana XL\, Festival Ammutinamenti Anticorpi XL\, ZED Festival\, Puglia Showcase\, DanzInc\, BallettGala Staatstheater Bremerhaven\, Prospettiva Danza Teatro\, Festival delle 100 Scale\, Danza in Rete Festival\, Lucky Trimmer\, Fuoriformato Festival\, Vivadança\, Albania Dance Meeting\, SoloCoreografico USA\, Solo Contemporary Dance Festival Ankara\, Sid Festival Seattle\, Interdans\, Split Summer Festival\, Quinzena de Dança de Almada\, and the Solo Tanz Theater Festival\, where she received the award for best choreographer and a residency award from the director and chief choreographer R. The company\, now based in Bari\, has gained attention for being a unique entity in the Italian dance scene. Recognized since 2021 by the Ministry of Culture as an Under35 Dance Production Organization\, it is the only entity in the Puglia region with such recognition. Equilibrio Dinamico is often described as “a voice outside the chorus\,” highlighting an artistic strategy counter to the trends in young Italian dance\, with the aim of creating a European-profiled reality that nurtures synergies among artists. \nFrom the beginning\, Roberta Ferrara aimed to build a contemporary repertoire company with an international scope\, inviting various choreographers to create new works. The dance cahier includes voices such as Jiří Pokorný\, Igor Kirov\, Bert Uyttenhove\, Matthias Kass & Clément Bugnon\, Marco Blázquez\, Riccardo Buscarini\, Aida Vainieri\, Brandon Lagaert\, among others\, contributing to the creation of a repertoire with diverse perspectives. Additionally\, Equilibrio Dinamico has an equally significant educational repertoire\, featuring works by Imre van Opstal\, Guy Shomroni\, Lior Tavori\, Alejando Moya\, Miguel Altunaga Verdecia\, Alice Godfrey\, Isaiah Wilson\, Manuel Rodriguez\, Sasha Riva & Simone Repele\, Pablo Girolami. The company has been invited to perform in seasons and festivals across Europe\, America\, and Asia\, establishing collaborations with various Italian Institutes of Culture in Mexico\, New York\, Athens\, São Paulo\, San Francisco\, Ankara\, Cologne\, and Zagreb\, thanks to the collaboration of the current general director Vincenzo Losito\, production manager. \nFurthermore\, Equilibrio Dinamico develops collateral training and audience promotion projects\, creating an active dialogue with the regional circuit Teatro Pubblico Pugliese and affiliated municipalities. In 2022\, marking the ten-year celebration of the international training program ENSEMBLE\, the company entered into a partnership with VERVE\, the postgraduate company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance\, Leeds (UK). Attentive to emerging national choreographic voices\, Equilibrio Dinamico supports the perspectives of new generations through the annual residency call ABITARE\, a productive support project in collaboration with the over thirty-year-old multidisciplinary international festival Castel dei Mondi\, Andria. \nCarmelo Zapparrata on Hystrio\, YEAR XXXV 2/2022 April/June \nINFO & TICKETS\nTICKETS\nFull Price: 10 euros \nTICKET PURCHASE\nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it.\nThe ticket service at Fonderia is available from 5:00 PM.\nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS\nPhone and WhatsApp: 3341023554\nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it

DESCRIPTION:  \n\nThe show FÀTICO will be presented in its world premiere on the upcoming 18th of February\, by ORBITA|Spellbound in collaboration with Festival Equilibrio\, at the Teatro Palladium in Rome. \nFÀTICO is a choreographic and musical project in which singing and dancing mark the time of three prayers. On stage are two performers\, equipped with a microphone in contact with the skin\, an extension of the body\, a trigger point for the almost-physical relationship with the audience\, thanks to the instrument provided by vocal action. \nHere\, singing is not an act of spontaneity\, but the product of modification\, integration\, and enhancement of the encyclopedia of this corporeality. In the words that mark the timing of the choreography\, references to nature and the senses give space to memories in their mental space before melting into the words of worship. Progressing through connections and collisions between sonic and choreutic matters\, a secular discourse on sanctity is composed\, asking the audience to let themselves be directed by the fàtico listen! \nIt doesn’t come from nothing\, it’s the peak reached after a long climb.\nThe sight of the stars now that you know how to look. This show is a song\, the voice that persists.\nThe chorus murmured in the field when your hands are still dirty from working.\nFàtico is not just time passing\, it’s medicine.\nThe potion that exalts and condemns life.\nTo reinvent descent and legitimacy. Because a step was missing.\nFàtico is a rope\, a prosthesis\, an act\, that power that cannot be exploited.\nThat distance where we have never touched\, but almost. \n  \nCREDITS \n“`html\nProject\, choreography\, vocal writing\, and performance Irene Russolillo\nSound creation\, vocal writing\, and performance Edoardo Sansonne/Kawabate\nLighting design and technical direction Valeria Foti\nCostume creation Marta Genovese\nPattern maker Sandra Barlocci\nCollaboration on vocal dramaturgy and vocal coaching Patrizia Rotonda \nTexts by Ladan Osman\, Adam Zagajewski\, Annamaria Ortese\, David Thoreau\, Irene Russolillo \nProduction by ORBITA|Spellbound – National Dance Production Center of RomeSupport for creative residencies by Cango – Centre of Relevant Interest for Dance Virgilio Sieni\, National Dance Foundation Aterballetto/National Choreographic Centerwith the support of TRAC – Theatres of Contemporary Artistic Residency in Puglia and in collaboration with SPINTIME labs \nDuration 45′\n“` \nAUTHORS \nIRENE RUSSOLILLO \nIrene Russolillo is a dancer\, vocalist\, performer\, and choreographer. As a dancer\, she worked for many years with Roberto Castello and collaborated with Lisi Estaras\, Abbondanza-Bertoni\, and many other choreographers. Her nomadic training has allowed her to have important encounters with educators throughout Italy and Europe. Among them\, the pivotal early encounters for her career were with Gabriella Musacchio for classical dance\, Ivan Wolfe and his movement research\, and the Ensemble of Micha Van Hoecke\, where she gained her first professional experiences. Later on\, she trained with Italian masters such as Sosta Palmizi and instructors like David Zambrano\, Thomas Hauert\, Company Blu for improvisation\, Julyen Hamilton\, and many others. SUMMARY:Ruggine / PLAY_BACH DIVERTISSEMENT
DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n\n  \n\n  \nOpen Rehearsal – 6:00 PM \nPerformance – 8:30 PM \nRuggine / Manfredi Perego \nRuggine is a contemplation of the outcome of the antagonism between darkness and light within humans. It is a dramaturgical exploration of the obscure\, restlessness\, caprice\, suffering; observing these emotions and the actions they provoke without judgment. Ruggine is a dedication to the area that is usually concealed with great effort. The choreography doesn’t generate an answer but rather creates a path that allows immersion and traversal of these moods\, dissecting them without prejudice. Like a liberating dedication to the bothersome part of ourselves\, the choreography sketches and traverses a sequence without chronology\, an ideal representation of what is usually considered a flaw. \nPLAY_BACH DIVERTISSEMENT / Balletto Teatro di Torino \nThe choreographic challenge is to give visual and dynamic concreteness to the emotion that each note expresses\, capturing the nuances of Bach’s music and translating into dance an emotional analysis process of what the musical score suggests. The violence and sweetness that arise from the vibration of the played notes must have a physical correspondence\, creating dances that traverse worlds of new carnal frequencies. The project starts from the need to challenge classical musical scores\, never tackled before\, to discover new approaches to choreography and open up to new dynamic visions. Studies on Bach will be a choreographic gym\, a mutable choreutic place that doesn’t end its evolution. Live music stitches the dancer’s epidermis to the space\, taking interpretation and listening to another level. At the same time\, the air moved by the bodies impacts the musicians\, making tangible the dance’s action on the instrument. \nCREDITS \nRUGGINE \nCoreography/Dance by Manfredi Perego\nOriginal Music by Paolo Codognola\nLighting Design by Roberta Faiolo\nDuration 20′\nA work produced by Tirdanza\, co-produced by Milanoltre Festival\, in collaboration with Fondazione TeatroDue Parma\, Europa Teatri \nPLAY_BACH DIVERTISSEMENT \nChoreography by Manfredi Perego\nDancers Flavio Ferruzzi\, Lisa Mariani\, Luca Tomasoni\, Nadja Guesewell\, Viola Scaglione\nMusic by J.S. SUMMARY:POP UP - UN FOSSILE DI CARTONE ANIMATO
DESCRIPTION:Reinventing the animated book in a theatrical form\, Pop up – Un fossile di cartone animato weaves together the micro-stories of a paper child and a small\, enigmatic sphere. The rhythmic\, chromatic\, and sonic evolutions of their relationship\, their encounters\, reflections\, and transformations come to life on stage. \nThe adventures of the child and their little ball give rise to a symbolic play of geometries and metamorphoses\, touching on central aspects of imagination: fantasy\, invitation\, threat\, and dream. Two actresses\, both animators\, breathe life and voice into the two paper protagonists\, playing with the emergence of figures and shapes over time\, their interweaving with their bodies\, movement\, and the illusion of motion\, as well as the synchronicity between voices and images. \nSuitable for children aged 3 and up \nCREDITS \nA project by Giulia Gallo\, Giovanni Guerrieri | I Sacchi di Sabbia\nIn collaboration with Giulia Solano\nWith Marta Capaccioli\, Lucrezia Palandri\, and Paolo Romanini\nBooks by Giulia Gallo\nLighting concept by Emiliano Curà\nSet construction by Paolo Romanini\nProduction by Teatro delle Briciole – Solares Fondazione delle Arti \nPOP UP: THE SHOW \nThe chromatic exploration of various cartoons comprising the performance serves as a powerful means to delve into basic emotions and create sets of associations between feelings\, shapes\, and colors. The variations on the theme\, harmonizing with the musical exploration of ambient sounds\, become a flexible tool for an experimental exploration of the child’s imagination. \nThe concept of scenically reinventing the pop-up book\, the challenge of creating a handcrafted cartoon—a sort of cardboard fossil in the age of 3D—is a precious opportunity for reflection on animation\, its contemporary techniques’ saturation and invasiveness. It opens the door to a more evocative and less aggressive direction\, allowing more room for imagination in the era of digital dominance. Additionally\, it provides a chance to experimentally blend manipulation\, object theater\, and sounds—lines of exploration cherished by I Sacchi di Sabbia\, now\, for the first time\, directed towards and compared with a young audience. \nTHE AUTHORS \nI SACCHI DI SABBIA\nOver the years\, the Company has distinguished itself on the national stage\, receiving significant recognition for the uniqueness of its research focused on reinventing contemporary popular scenes. Already winners of two ETI Awards for “Il Debutto di Amleto\,” I Sacchi di Sabbia received a nomination for the 2003 Ubu Award for the show Orfeo. Il respiro (“…for their intertwining of irony\, history\, and metaphysics”) and won the Special Ubu Award in 2008. In perpetual oscillation between tradition and exploration\, between the comic and the tragic\, I Sacchi di Sabbia’s work has materialized into a language balancing various arts (visual arts\, dance\, music). They explore unconventional performance spaces while maintaining a keen and attentive eye on the territory in which the spectacular event takes place. \nINFO & TICKETS\nTICKETS \n  \nFull Price: 6 euros \nTICKET PURCHASE \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket service at Fonderia is available from 5:00 PM. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nPhone and WhatsApp: +39 3341023554 \nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it\n\n–

SUMMARY:Made in Italy 30.0
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n“`html\n  \nThe performance will take place on December 22nd with two showings:\n1st showing: 6:00 PM\n2nd showing: 9:00 PM \n  \nThe protagonists of the evening are the dancers of Agora Coaching Project\, a high-level training project promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D Progetto Danza of Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli. Started in 2010\, the course is gaining full recognition in the European dance world and boasts collaborations with internationally renowned teachers and choreographers. \nB.7 SYMPHONY by Emanuele Soavi\nThe tireless drive of Beethoven towards artistic renewal and his dissected and even visionary vision of the social and political movements of his time give his work an inexhaustible energy\, like a continuous flow\, just like the flood in nature when it changes the shape of the landscape and living conditions. This idea of constant change\, of juxtaposition of opposites\, of interaction\, of exchange\, of shared emotions and experiences is essentially the starting point for this choreographic composition. Both the stage itself and the protagonists who inhabit it with their movements\, which continually take on a new form in each of the individual parts\, create abstract images that consciously and unconsciously define the idea of a multiform self\, which lives today in a modern society that is in a state of continuous upheaval and change. \nGERSHWIN SUITE by Michele Merola\nIn the notes of George Gershwin (1898-1937)\, one of the most representative musicians of the 20th century\, reflects the spirit of the time in which they are created\, the moods and atmospheres of the Roaring Twenties. Starting from the best pieces of the composer\, and from the suggestions of the pictorial works of another great American artist of the ‘900\, Edward Hopper (1882-1967)\, Michele Merola has created Gershwin Suite. On stage\, a lot of variety takes on the ways of a movie set\, thanks also to a constantly changing set design\, just like on a set\, and a choreography that touches more keys\, the work of a choreographer capable of declining his creativity and his talent in step with the times of contemporaneity. \n PERFORMERS \n6:00 PM\nCorrado Azzollini\, Jasmine Begici\, Elisa Bocconi\, Laura Dell’Agnese\, Sara Ferrentino\, Nicole Forni\, Giulia Lusetti\, Lucrezia Maggiore\, Maya Maselli\, Carlotta Maucioni\, Martina Procacci\, Federico Musumec\, Filippo Penco\, Jada Piccinini\, Susanna Russing\, Gennaro Todisco\, Gaia Camilla\, Zorrilla Leonini. \n9:00 PM\nChiara Barril\, Jacopo Bellan\, Giulia Boccarossa\, Giovanni Karol Borriello\, Salvatore Bruno\, Lucrezia Capuzzell\, Anna Dal Maso\, Vittoria Facci\, Chiara Gionti\, Aurora Lattanzi\, Luna Lefebvre\, Gioele Marcante\, Laura Miotti\, Martina Pagliari\, Alessia Russo\, Diletta Suman.\n“` \nAGORA COACHING PROJECT \nAgora Coaching Project is an annual dance training program aimed at dancers aged between 18 and 22 years old\, based in Reggio Emilia. Established in 2010\, it is directed by Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli\, and is promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and Centro Permanente Danza of Reggio Emilia. Its goal is to train artists ready to face the variety of the international dance market in a flexible manner\, capable of responding to requests of different nature\, both technical and stylistic\, coming from this same market. The project aims to offer a wide range of stimuli\, including technical\, cultural\, and exchange opportunities between students and choreographers\, each of whom comes from different and interesting backgrounds in the international dance scene. Agora allows students to meet established choreographers with different stylistic orientations\, and over the years has seen the participation of many illustrious names. SUMMARY:Darwin
DESCRIPTION:Darwin – M/eta/morfosi is a dance and theater show for children and families on the theme of growth and transformation\, which elicits more than just a smile from the audience.\n \nThe authors Christian Pellino and Francesco Marchi are associated artists of the Artemis Danza Company / Monica Casadei. \n[Watch the video here](https://vimeo.com/887649437) \n\nCredits \nBy and with Francesco Marchi and Christian Pellino\nDirection and dramaturgy: Francesco Marchi\nChoreographies: Christian Pellino\nRunning time: 50′ \nRecommended for an audience of 8 to 14 years of age \nA co-production Artemis Danza and Europa Teatri\nWith the support Mic\, Regione Emilia Romagna Assessorato alla Cultura\, Comune di Parma \nDarwin \nLike the caterpillar transforms and becomes a butterfly through a biological cycle called metamorphosis\, so does man go through multiple phases before undergoing evolution. From single-celled organisms to Homo Sapiens\, from newborn to adult\, everything evolves in continuous pursuit of perfection… but something went wrong! The planet is in danger\, and humanity is certainly not without flaws. Thus\, an eccentric scientist tries to tell us what\, for better or for worse\, has happened to humanity and Earth from the Big Bang to today. To help him in this endeavor\, a multifaceted and constantly changing character\, who communicates not with words but with body and movement\, will embody the different phases of this crazy metamorphosis. A synergy between dance and prose theater\, expressive gestures\, and words that accompanies young people on a fun and educational journey where fantasy\, science\, and creativity meet. \nDarwin – M/eta/morfosi arises from the need to try to bring the younger audience closer to the world of dance theater\, often perceived as distant from the new generations and therefore difficult to understand. Through a path that involves meetings with schools\, teacher training\, and stage representation\, Darwin – M/eta/morfosi will attempt to explore the concept of transformation by combining the language of dance\, curated by choreographer Christian Pellino\, with the word and gesture of prose theater by actor Francesco Marchi. The goal is to introduce young people to a new language\, facilitating their understanding and involving them in a journey of genre exploration while\, simultaneously\, allowing them to develop personal reflections on the theme of growth and transformation. \nInfo & Tickets \nTICKETS\nFull price: 6 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online on www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 5.00 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:THE DAY WHEN I CHOSE TO BE A DAUGHTER
DESCRIPTION:DaCru – The day when I chose to be a daughter – ph. Sara Meliti \nThe Dacru Dance Company returns to the Fonderia with its latest performance The day when I chose to be a daughter. \nDancers with a highly virtuosic technique\, performers with a communicative directness\, they have the talent to transform urban dance into a real theatrical tale. \n\nCredits \nConcept and direction: Marisa Ragazzo\nChoreographies: Marisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani\nBy and with Elda Bartolacci\, Davide Angelozzi\, Alessandra Ruggeri\nMusiche: Jocelyn Pook \, Julia Kent\, David Lang\, The Books\, Max Richter \, Nils Frahm \nProduction: Compagnia Naturalis Labor\nCo-production: Festival Abano Danza 2022\nWith the support ofMic / Regione Veneto / Comune di Vicenza\nIn partnership with DanceLab / Latina \nThe day when I chose to be a daughter \nThree dancers investigate the state of sonship. A profound and poetic analysis\, steeped in secret visions\, that answers one main question: does being a child last a lifetime?… and from others that follow spontaneously… does this privileged state of sonship persist even when the point that formally grants it disappear?… without parents\, is one still a child? Does the state of sonship change when one becomes a mother or a father? \nThe company’s new production stems from the choreographer’s involved and individual vision of the theme\, which becomes collective through meetings and discussions with the dancers.\nIt has been a long and complex work of reflection on the state of sonship that we stage\, a search through the specific memories of each of us\, choreographers and dancers. Memories written down\, detailed\, shared\, made narrative and almost always referring above all to the mother\, in whom we danced for months immersed in her vital paste. \nDaCru – The day when I chose to be a daughter – ph. Sara Meliti \nWe began the creative process related to the project ‘THE DAY WHEN I CHOSE TO BE A DAUGHTER’ by taking time for everything\, talking at length\, sharing memories and emotional states… four children reflecting on the state of sonship. No mother\, no father\, only sons. Much has been written about motherhood and fatherhood\, extensive and articulate narratives\, but about the state of sonship\, very little. What is the state of sonship? The first of many questions that drives us to an active sharing: we would like to dialogue with other sons in order to arrive at a more extensive and in-depth narrative by interweaving a silent dialogue with the audience\, prompting everyone to undertake a process to recover memories and small stories hidden in the secret places of the mind. \nMarisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani \nBoth in love with extreme experimentation and the contamination of styles and languages\, they create an unusual choreographic dimension while remaining absolutely attainable. They love speed\, technical virtuosity\, and the fusion of the theatrical space with the artistic code of the street\, from which they draw their drives towards art in its various aspects\, which often leads them to collaborate with underground musicians and visual artists. \nTheir primary goal remains to break out of conventional spaces through originality\, invention\, innovation and research. \nIn 1996\, Marisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani opened two professional hip hop training schools\, still active today\, in Lazio and Sardinia\, to which they added\, over the years\, another 8 locations shared in organisation with Cruisin Arts (MC Hip Hop School: Milan\, Verona\, Jesi\, Florence\, Rome\, Bari\, Catania\, Cagliari)\, and a specialisation school for Video Dance and House (Cruisin’ Urban Dance Hdemy: Modena and Rome). \nIn addition to professional training schools\, they carry out an intense teaching activity\, in Italy and abroad. \nInfo & Tickets \nTICKETS\nFull price: 10 euro\nReduced for under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, CRAL members Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced price under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online on www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 7.30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it
