SUMMARY:POP UP - UN FOSSILE DI CARTONE ANIMATO
DESCRIPTION:Reinventing the animated book in a theatrical form\, Pop up – Un fossile di cartone animato weaves together the micro-stories of a paper child and a small\, enigmatic sphere. The rhythmic\, chromatic\, and sonic evolutions of their relationship\, their encounters\, reflections\, and transformations come to life on stage. \nThe adventures of the child and their little ball give rise to a symbolic play of geometries and metamorphoses\, touching on central aspects of imagination: fantasy\, invitation\, threat\, and dream. Two actresses\, both animators\, breathe life and voice into the two paper protagonists\, playing with the emergence of figures and shapes over time\, their interweaving with their bodies\, movement\, and the illusion of motion\, as well as the synchronicity between voices and images. \nSuitable for children aged 3 and up \nCREDITS \nA project by Giulia Gallo\, Giovanni Guerrieri | I Sacchi di Sabbia\nIn collaboration with Giulia Solano\nWith Marta Capaccioli\, Lucrezia Palandri\, and Paolo Romanini\nBooks by Giulia Gallo\nLighting concept by Emiliano Curà\nSet construction by Paolo Romanini\nProduction by Teatro delle Briciole – Solares Fondazione delle Arti \nPOP UP: THE SHOW \nThe chromatic exploration of various cartoons comprising the performance serves as a powerful means to delve into basic emotions and create sets of associations between feelings\, shapes\, and colors. The variations on the theme\, harmonizing with the musical exploration of ambient sounds\, become a flexible tool for an experimental exploration of the child’s imagination. \nThe concept of scenically reinventing the pop-up book\, the challenge of creating a handcrafted cartoon—a sort of cardboard fossil in the age of 3D—is a precious opportunity for reflection on animation\, its contemporary techniques’ saturation and invasiveness. It opens the door to a more evocative and less aggressive direction\, allowing more room for imagination in the era of digital dominance. Additionally\, it provides a chance to experimentally blend manipulation\, object theater\, and sounds—lines of exploration cherished by I Sacchi di Sabbia\, now\, for the first time\, directed towards and compared with a young audience. \nTHE AUTHORS \nI SACCHI DI SABBIA\nOver the years\, the Company has distinguished itself on the national stage\, receiving significant recognition for the uniqueness of its research focused on reinventing contemporary popular scenes. Already winners of two ETI Awards for “Il Debutto di Amleto\,” I Sacchi di Sabbia received a nomination for the 2003 Ubu Award for the show Orfeo. Il respiro (“…for their intertwining of irony\, history\, and metaphysics”) and won the Special Ubu Award in 2008. In perpetual oscillation between tradition and exploration\, between the comic and the tragic\, I Sacchi di Sabbia’s work has materialized into a language balancing various arts (visual arts\, dance\, music). They explore unconventional performance spaces while maintaining a keen and attentive eye on the territory in which the spectacular event takes place. \nINFO & TICKETS\nTICKETS \n  \nFull Price: 6 euros \nTICKET PURCHASE \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket service at Fonderia is available from 5:00 PM. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nPhone and WhatsApp: +39 3341023554 \nEmail: biglietteria@aterballetto.it\n\n–

SUMMARY:Made in Italy 30.0
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n“`html\n  \nThe performance will take place on December 22nd with two showings:\n1st showing: 6:00 PM\n2nd showing: 9:00 PM \n  \nThe protagonists of the evening are the dancers of Agora Coaching Project\, a high-level training project promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D Progetto Danza of Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli. Started in 2010\, the course is gaining full recognition in the European dance world and boasts collaborations with internationally renowned teachers and choreographers. \nB.7 SYMPHONY by Emanuele Soavi\nThe tireless drive of Beethoven towards artistic renewal and his dissected and even visionary vision of the social and political movements of his time give his work an inexhaustible energy\, like a continuous flow\, just like the flood in nature when it changes the shape of the landscape and living conditions. This idea of constant change\, of juxtaposition of opposites\, of interaction\, of exchange\, of shared emotions and experiences is essentially the starting point for this choreographic composition. Both the stage itself and the protagonists who inhabit it with their movements\, which continually take on a new form in each of the individual parts\, create abstract images that consciously and unconsciously define the idea of a multiform self\, which lives today in a modern society that is in a state of continuous upheaval and change. \nGERSHWIN SUITE by Michele Merola\nIn the notes of George Gershwin (1898-1937)\, one of the most representative musicians of the 20th century\, reflects the spirit of the time in which they are created\, the moods and atmospheres of the Roaring Twenties. Starting from the best pieces of the composer\, and from the suggestions of the pictorial works of another great American artist of the ‘900\, Edward Hopper (1882-1967)\, Michele Merola has created Gershwin Suite. On stage\, a lot of variety takes on the ways of a movie set\, thanks also to a constantly changing set design\, just like on a set\, and a choreography that touches more keys\, the work of a choreographer capable of declining his creativity and his talent in step with the times of contemporaneity. \n PERFORMERS \n6:00 PM\nCorrado Azzollini\, Jasmine Begici\, Elisa Bocconi\, Laura Dell’Agnese\, Sara Ferrentino\, Nicole Forni\, Giulia Lusetti\, Lucrezia Maggiore\, Maya Maselli\, Carlotta Maucioni\, Martina Procacci\, Federico Musumec\, Filippo Penco\, Jada Piccinini\, Susanna Russing\, Gennaro Todisco\, Gaia Camilla\, Zorrilla Leonini. \n9:00 PM\nChiara Barril\, Jacopo Bellan\, Giulia Boccarossa\, Giovanni Karol Borriello\, Salvatore Bruno\, Lucrezia Capuzzell\, Anna Dal Maso\, Vittoria Facci\, Chiara Gionti\, Aurora Lattanzi\, Luna Lefebvre\, Gioele Marcante\, Laura Miotti\, Martina Pagliari\, Alessia Russo\, Diletta Suman.\n“` \nAGORA COACHING PROJECT \nAgora Coaching Project is an annual dance training program aimed at dancers aged between 18 and 22 years old\, based in Reggio Emilia. Established in 2010\, it is directed by Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli\, and is promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and Centro Permanente Danza of Reggio Emilia. Its goal is to train artists ready to face the variety of the international dance market in a flexible manner\, capable of responding to requests of different nature\, both technical and stylistic\, coming from this same market. The project aims to offer a wide range of stimuli\, including technical\, cultural\, and exchange opportunities between students and choreographers\, each of whom comes from different and interesting backgrounds in the international dance scene. Agora allows students to meet established choreographers with different stylistic orientations\, and over the years has seen the participation of many illustrious names. Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli collaborate with various teachers\, each of whom has proven and qualified experience in the field\, to realize the project. \nMICHELE MEROLA \nMichele Merola is the artistic director and main choreographer of the MM Contemporary Dance Company\, a contemporary dance company founded in 1999 in Reggio Emilia\, which won the prestigious Danza & Danza Award in 2010 as the best emerging company. With the company\, he has brought many of his choreographies to the stage\, both in Italy and abroad\, including La metà dell’ombra\, winner of the Anita Bucchi Award in 2010\, and Bolero\, Europaindanza Award 2017 – Choreography Merit Award. Since 2000\, he has created numerous works for other companies\, including Aterballetto\, Teatro San Carlo di Napoli\, Dominic Walsh Dance Theatre\, Teatro Massimo di Palermo\, Junior Balletto di Toscana\, Teatro Nazionale di Belgrado\, Tanzcompagnie Landesbühnen Sachsen in Dresden\, and Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. In 2003\, he won the International Choreography Competition in Hannover\, in 2008 he received the Positano Leonide Massine Award for the Art of Dance\, and in 2016\, the GD Awards 2016 as Best Italian Choreographer. In 2017\, he won the L’Abella Danza Award at the Roman Amphitheater of Avella (AV). In 2018\, he received the “Encounter with Dance” award instituted by Basilicata ArteDanza. Since 2010\, Merola has been the artistic director\, alongside Enrico Morelli\, of Agora Coaching Project\, a professional training project for dancers based in Reggio Emilia. \nEMANUELE SOAVI \nEmanuele Soavi began his dance studies in Ferrara and later at the Balletto di Toscana. In 1996\, he started working in various Italian theaters\, including the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari and the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. In 1998\, he moved to Germany\, where he worked for three years as a soloist for the Ballet Dortmund\, before moving to the Netherlands to join the renowned Introdans company. Throughout his career\, he has interpreted works by choreographers such as Maurice Béjart\, Jiří Kylián\, Hans van Manen\, Nils Christe\, Renato Zanella\, William Forsythe\, Ton Wiggers\, Nacho Duato\, Karole Armitage\, and Mats Ek. Since 1999\, Soavi has also worked as a choreographer in numerous theaters\, including Theater Dortmund\, Theater Duisburg\, Staatstheater Regensburg\, Theater Aachen\, Introdans\, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich\, Opera Köln\, Dansateliers Rotterdam\, Folkwang Essen\, ZHdK Zürich\, Dance Limerick\, MM Contemporary Dance Company\, and AGORA Coaching Project. Since 2012\, he has been the director of the Emanuele Soavi Incompany collective in Cologne. He has received the award for Best Performing Artist in Germany and has collaborated on co-productions since 2016 with Susanne Linke\, Jone San Martin of the Forsythe Company\, Cora Bos\, and Joris-Jan Bos of the Netherlands Dance Theatre. \n\nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 10 euro\nReduced for under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, CRAL members Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced price under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online on www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 7.30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:Darwin
DESCRIPTION:Darwin – M/eta/morfosi is a dance and theater show for children and families on the theme of growth and transformation\, which elicits more than just a smile from the audience.\n \nThe authors Christian Pellino and Francesco Marchi are associated artists of the Artemis Danza Company / Monica Casadei. \n[Watch the video here](https://vimeo.com/887649437) \n\nCredits \nBy and with Francesco Marchi and Christian Pellino\nDirection and dramaturgy: Francesco Marchi\nChoreographies: Christian Pellino\nRunning time: 50′ \nRecommended for an audience of 8 to 14 years of age \nA co-production Artemis Danza and Europa Teatri\nWith the support Mic\, Regione Emilia Romagna Assessorato alla Cultura\, Comune di Parma \nDarwin \nLike the caterpillar transforms and becomes a butterfly through a biological cycle called metamorphosis\, so does man go through multiple phases before undergoing evolution. From single-celled organisms to Homo Sapiens\, from newborn to adult\, everything evolves in continuous pursuit of perfection… but something went wrong! The planet is in danger\, and humanity is certainly not without flaws. Thus\, an eccentric scientist tries to tell us what\, for better or for worse\, has happened to humanity and Earth from the Big Bang to today. To help him in this endeavor\, a multifaceted and constantly changing character\, who communicates not with words but with body and movement\, will embody the different phases of this crazy metamorphosis. A synergy between dance and prose theater\, expressive gestures\, and words that accompanies young people on a fun and educational journey where fantasy\, science\, and creativity meet. \nDarwin – M/eta/morfosi arises from the need to try to bring the younger audience closer to the world of dance theater\, often perceived as distant from the new generations and therefore difficult to understand. Through a path that involves meetings with schools\, teacher training\, and stage representation\, Darwin – M/eta/morfosi will attempt to explore the concept of transformation by combining the language of dance\, curated by choreographer Christian Pellino\, with the word and gesture of prose theater by actor Francesco Marchi. The goal is to introduce young people to a new language\, facilitating their understanding and involving them in a journey of genre exploration while\, simultaneously\, allowing them to develop personal reflections on the theme of growth and transformation. \nInfo & Tickets \nTICKETS\nFull price: 6 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online on www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 5.00 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:THE DAY WHEN I CHOSE TO BE A DAUGHTER
DESCRIPTION:DaCru – The day when I chose to be a daughter – ph. Sara Meliti \nThe Dacru Dance Company returns to the Fonderia with its latest performance The day when I chose to be a daughter. \nDancers with a highly virtuosic technique\, performers with a communicative directness\, they have the talent to transform urban dance into a real theatrical tale. \n\nCredits \nConcept and direction: Marisa Ragazzo\nChoreographies: Marisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani\nBy and with Elda Bartolacci\, Davide Angelozzi\, Alessandra Ruggeri\nMusiche: Jocelyn Pook \, Julia Kent\, David Lang\, The Books\, Max Richter \, Nils Frahm \nProduction: Compagnia Naturalis Labor\nCo-production: Festival Abano Danza 2022\nWith the support ofMic / Regione Veneto / Comune di Vicenza\nIn partnership with DanceLab / Latina \nThe day when I chose to be a daughter \nThree dancers investigate the state of sonship. A profound and poetic analysis\, steeped in secret visions\, that answers one main question: does being a child last a lifetime?… and from others that follow spontaneously… does this privileged state of sonship persist even when the point that formally grants it disappear?… without parents\, is one still a child? Does the state of sonship change when one becomes a mother or a father? \nThe company’s new production stems from the choreographer’s involved and individual vision of the theme\, which becomes collective through meetings and discussions with the dancers.\nIt has been a long and complex work of reflection on the state of sonship that we stage\, a search through the specific memories of each of us\, choreographers and dancers. Memories written down\, detailed\, shared\, made narrative and almost always referring above all to the mother\, in whom we danced for months immersed in her vital paste. \nDaCru – The day when I chose to be a daughter – ph. Sara Meliti \nWe began the creative process related to the project ‘THE DAY WHEN I CHOSE TO BE A DAUGHTER’ by taking time for everything\, talking at length\, sharing memories and emotional states… four children reflecting on the state of sonship. No mother\, no father\, only sons. Much has been written about motherhood and fatherhood\, extensive and articulate narratives\, but about the state of sonship\, very little. What is the state of sonship? The first of many questions that drives us to an active sharing: we would like to dialogue with other sons in order to arrive at a more extensive and in-depth narrative by interweaving a silent dialogue with the audience\, prompting everyone to undertake a process to recover memories and small stories hidden in the secret places of the mind. \nMarisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani \nBoth in love with extreme experimentation and the contamination of styles and languages\, they create an unusual choreographic dimension while remaining absolutely attainable. They love speed\, technical virtuosity\, and the fusion of the theatrical space with the artistic code of the street\, from which they draw their drives towards art in its various aspects\, which often leads them to collaborate with underground musicians and visual artists. \nTheir primary goal remains to break out of conventional spaces through originality\, invention\, innovation and research. \nIn 1996\, Marisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani opened two professional hip hop training schools\, still active today\, in Lazio and Sardinia\, to which they added\, over the years\, another 8 locations shared in organisation with Cruisin Arts (MC Hip Hop School: Milan\, Verona\, Jesi\, Florence\, Rome\, Bari\, Catania\, Cagliari)\, and a specialisation school for Video Dance and House (Cruisin’ Urban Dance Hdemy: Modena and Rome). \nIn addition to professional training schools\, they carry out an intense teaching activity\, in Italy and abroad. \nInfo & Tickets \nTICKETS\nFull price: 10 euro\nReduced for under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, CRAL members Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced price under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online on www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 7.30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:Open Rehearsal - Secus
DESCRIPTION:Also this month\, the Fonderia opens its doors to an open rehearsal with the Aterballetto Company. \nOn Monday\, November 20th\, at 6:00 PM\, the audience can attend the rehearsal of Secus\, a choreography created by Ohad Naharin in 2019: one of those performances that is difficult to forget\, capable of uniquely highlighting the technical skills and expressiveness of dancers. \nThe creation boasts a musical collage ranging from the unusual electronic styles of AGF to the seductive Indian melodies of Kaho Naa Pyar Hai\, to the resonant harmonies of the Beach Boys. This adventurously eclectic mix takes shape before our eyes in the form of a human alphabet made of runs\, solos\, clean and precise gestures\, interrupted duets. Joy\, vulnerability\, fear\, innocence\, confusion\, and anger weave a harmonious and dynamic canvas that oscillates between delicacy and exaggeration. \nOpen rehearsals are unique moments where you can experience the backstage of a show\, interact with the artists\, and be amazed by the art of dance: a special opportunity that allows the audience to enter the daily routine of dancers and choreographers.

Three grey characters. Bored\, dull and clouded by the technological means\, they move like prisoners of a predetermined mechanism\, their gaze is always turned to the screens. But here comes an unexpected element! A butterfly will move their look elsewhere and the house will become the theatre of new adventures and transformations. A crescendo of emotions and vicissitudes in which the three protagonists will finally rediscover the power of fantasy\, in a continuous game to free their bodies and minds. \nSosta Palmizi – Esercizi di fantastica \n\nEsercizi di Fantastica tells\, with the language of dance and movement\, the power of imagination that transforms things and people into something always unexpected and extraordinary. The authors were inspired by the idea of “Fantastica” by the writer Gianni Rodari\, whose 100th anniversary is celebrated in 2020. Close to the surrealism of the 50s and inspired by the work of Alfred Jarry and his pataphysics (the science of imaginary solutions)\, Rodari affirmed the existence of a Fantastica in total contrast to Logic. \nSosta Palmizi – Esercizi di fantastica \nThe AuthorsGiorgio Rossi\nAs E. Satie would probably say\, “he is a dancing mammal”. At the age of 4\, seeing the Swiss clown Dimitri perform in surreal stage time\, he realised that theatre was his life. He owes his artistic fortune to having been able to witness the work of great masters (Kantor\, Brook\, Bausch\, Carlson)\, with some of whom he learnt the art of the stage’ both as a student and as a performer. In 1984\, he co-founded Sosta Palmizi\, an acronym under which\, in 30 years\, over 400 dancers and others have worked\, who have found work in the major Italian and European dance theatre companies or founded their own groups: some of these are part of the nucleus of the association as Artisti Associati. With his performances\, over 30 productions\, he has travelled the world\, thanks to the universality of the poetic art of movement. Over the years\, he has collaborated with artists from the most diverse fields such as: Andrea Pazienza\, Paolo Fresu\, Bernardo Bertolucci\, Terry Gilliam\, Stefano Benni\, Paola Turci\, Lucia Poli\, David Riondino\, Paolo Rossi\, Banda Osiris\, Gabriele Mirabassi\, Danilo Rea\, Elisabetta Pozzi\, Jovanotti and many others\, as well as working with people of all ages\, students\, therapeutic communities and social rehabilitation groups. \nFederico Dimitri\nHe graduated in 2004 from the Accademia Teatro Dimitri\, Verscio (CH). In 2005 he won the Pinokkio Prize in Belgium with his performance entitled Perfectly Coupled. In the same year\, he co-founded the company I Tre Secondi\, and created the performances Zurigo Stazione Centrale (2005)\, I Doganieri (2010) and Kaspar (2015). In 2006\, he moved to Geneva\, where he continued to work as an actor. In the same period\, a meeting with director Teresa Ludovico led him to collaborate with the Teatro Stabile d’Innovazione Kismet Opera in Bari. He starred in the performance La Regina delle Nevi\, directed by Teresa Ludovico. In 2008\, he participated in the founding of the research group Progetto Brockenhaus\, based in Ticino\, with which he created the performances Non facciamone una tragedia and Sagra. In the summers of 2009-2010-2012\, he participated in the Origen festival\, Riom (CH) under the artistic direction of Giovanni Netzer. Arriving in Livorno in 2010\, he continued his artistic collaboration between Italy\, Switzerland and Germany. Since 2012\, he has collaborated with Theater Werkstatt Gleis 5 in Frauenfeld (CH)\, with whom he creates Laina Viva. In 2013\, together with Elisa Canessa\, he founded the Compagnia Dimitri/Canessa. Central point\, always\, the body\, container of the whole\, of the gesture as of the word of the concrete and the subtle; fundamental instrument of communication. The company has been working for years both in Italy and abroad\, particularly in Switzerland\, and has four performances to its credit: Bruno (2013)\, a performance that won the FIT\, International Theatre Festival of Lugano; …di Giulietta e del suo Romeo (2014) and Hallo!I’m Jacket! (2016)\, Ad esempio questo cielo (2019). Hein Fonds\, Fonds 21\, Schäxpir Festival \nRunning time: 1h \nHold Your Horses \nHold Your Horses is an energetic and sensitive dance concert about the desire to hold on. De Dansers tell their story with twelve hands\, including the accompanying bodies\, and a few guitars. We see hands grasping\, mistaking\, touching\, taking off\, falling down and plucking guitar strings. We see passion and distance. We don’t see horses\, although we do feel them. We see an unconstrained dance party\, where the cry for help slowly creeps in. \nDe Dansers – Hold Your Horses – ph. Bart Grietens \nHold Your Horses is about the urge to hold on to something or someone\, in a world that is becoming increasingly elusive. With a spectacular\, acrobatic movement language\, six performers trot on with full dedication\, without losing human sensitivity. Suddenly we meet a personal dance solo\, or we abruptly feel the tension between the group and the individual. As one body\, the dancers move in a continuous flow\, propelled by Guy Corneille’s live music full of compelling guitar compositions and moving songs. \nHold Your Horses was partly created in Berlin and premiered in Berlin and Utrecht in September/October 2021. \nDe Dansers \nDe Dansers is a company of dancers and musicians from Utrecht directed by choreographer/dancer Josephine van Rheenen and composer/musician Guy Corneille. Their performances are ‘dance concer ‘dance concerts’\, a meeting of modern dance and live music on the theme of liberation from everything that can make the individual feel stuck\, all in an atmosphere of playful anarchy.\nPerformances that recall the liveliness of children and the almost forgotten desire of adults to indulge in physical contact. \nJosephine van Rheenen // Choreographer She studied dance at the Theaterschool in Amsterdam and\, in parallel\, performed as a dancer with De Dansers. After dancing for five years with De Dansers\, Vloeistof and Breekgoed\, she replaced Wies Merkx as artistic director of De Dansers together with Guy Corneille in 2014. Since then\, she has created performances for children and adults for this company. As a choreographer\, she is dedicated to the search for humanity in dance and a language of movement based on instinct. Openness\, surrender and interaction are the keywords of her works. \nGuy Corneille // Composer and musician He has been the artistic director of De Dansers together with Josephine van Rheenen since 2014. On stage he is a musician and physical performer at the same time. He also participates in the creation of choreographer Josephine van Rheenen’s performances as a composer and musical dramaturg. He studied sociocultural anthropology and has a background in pop with his indie band La Corneille. Her artistic interest is in communicating the physical and emotional experience\, the improvisation typical of pop concerts and the accessibility of any music without being superficial\nor of low quality. In 2017\, Guy Corneille won a VSCD Gouden Krekel for his multi-performance in The Basement (De Dansers / Theater Strahl / Wies Merkx). \nTHEATER STRAHL BERLIN\nTheater Strahl was founded in 1987 in Berlin as an independent theatre group and has been producing contemporary dance performances for young audiences in collaboration with international artists since 2013. With Theatrer Strahl\, young people are involved in the selection and development of performances\, thus actively coming into contact with the theatrical world. \nInfo & Tickets \nTICKETS\nFull price: 6 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online on www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 7.30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:TACA TÈ / talk
DESCRIPTION:Why do we remember the past and not the future? Do we exist in time or does time exist in us? What does it really mean for time to flow? What links time to our nature as subjects? What do I listen to when I listen to time flowing? \nCarlo Rovelli \nAfter its debut at the Teatro Elfo Puccini in Milan\, as part of the MILANoLtre festival\, TACA TÈ lands at the Fonderia. The show is produced by Compagnia Sanpapié with artistic direction by Lara Guidetti\, in co-production with the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto. \nTaca Tè\, in Emilian dialect meaning “you start\,” is a challenge to the right to exist in time\, played out between two bodies that are chronologically distant but converge in the present of dance. On stage\, Antonio Caporilli and Francesca Lastella confront the grand theme of time and intergenerational encounter through relentless physical debate. Past and future mirror each other in an attempt to build a relationship capable of moving fearlessly along the timeline in both directions. Thus\, the codes of ballroom dancing\, which dictate roles\, melodies\, and spaces\, dissolve in an “other” environment that progressively frees itself from structures to open multiple perspectives on the body and the relationship. The choreography develops a unique and ever-evolving flow of movement where the internal rhythms of the dancers diverge and oppose each other before finding common ground that allows for the transcendence of roles in an ironic\, at times theatrical and surreal game. \nFollowing the performance\, there will be a talk with Elisabetta Donati\, a sociologist and Head of the Culture and Research Department for the Ravasi-Garzanti Foundation\, the scientific partner of the Over Dance project\, which is entirely oriented towards research and policies for aging. \nCREDITS \nA co-production by Sanpapié\, Fondazione Nazionale della Danza/Aterballetto\, and MILANoLTRE \nChoreography: Lara Guidetti \nPerformers: Antonio Caporilli\, Francesca Lastella \nChoreography assistant and costumes: Fabrizio Calanna \nSet design: Maria Croce \nOriginal music and arrangements: Marcello Gori\, Alberto Sansone \nPremiere: September 30\, 2023\, Teatro Elfo Puccini – MILANoLTRE Festival\, Milan (replica October 1) \nCOMPAGNIA SANPAPIÉ / LARA GUIDETTI \nEmiliana\, after competitive acrobatics studies and theatrical acting\, graduated in 2006 as a dancer and choreographer from the Atelier of Theater-Dance at the Paolo Grassi School in Milan\, studying with great national and international masters such as Susanne Linke\, Emio Greco\, André Minvielle\, Franco Brambilla\, Luciana Melis\, Reinhild Hoffman\, Lucinda Childs\, Susanna Beltrami; Yong Min Cho\, and Sarah Taylor. In recent years\, his attention has turned to the everyday life of urban contexts\, with surprise blitzes or collective performances aimed at suddenly subverting the rhythms and habits of a place. \nFrancesca Lastella\nFrancesca is a dancer and teacher. SUMMARY:BODY INTO THE FIGHT - ROMAEUROPA FESTIVAL
DESCRIPTION:Body into the fight is the performance curated by Diego Tortelli and born from the research together with Sony CSL and researcher Ken Endo\, at the center of the project Dis.abile | Iper.abile. The show will be presented for the first time during the Opening Conference of Maker Faire Rome on October 19th. \nThanks to the availability of Romaeuropa Festival\, on the occasion of the Dancing Days\, a selection curated by Francesca Manica as part of the 2023 edition of the Festival\, CCN/Aterballetto will have the opportunity to present the performance again. The event will take place on October 19th at the Mattatoio\, at 10:00 PM. \n\n  \n  \nBODY INTO THE FIGHT \nChoreography and Concept Diego Tortelli Scientific Consulting Ken Endo Music Oneohtrix Point Never Performers Giuseppe Morello and Karim Randé A production by Fondazione Nazionale della Danza/Aterballetto In partnership with SONY CSL \nThanks to the research we will conduct with Ken Hendo and SONY CSL\, we will have the opportunity to delve into the idea of prostheses as extensions of the body capable of making it hyper-able. An extension of the body that enhances physical performance and is no longer just a recourse to solve a physical trauma or to hide a disability. It is about extending the idea of ability in a poetic key that can come as close as possible to the definition of a “contemporary body.” Or at least to stimulate a reflection\, capable of entering the theater halls\, with a poetic serving the external world in a way that makes the body surprise us once again. \nDiego Tortelli \n\nDis.abile | Iper.abile \nDis.abile | Iper.abile arises from the desire of the two partners to support a welfare system “focused not only on emergency resolution but centered on promoting the well-being and abilities of individuals\, as an engine of development and employment and a factor of social inclusion\,” according to the definition by urbanist Carolina Giaimo. \nSociety is changing\, and healthcare is facing new needs. In this scenario\, innovation is a challenge. Assistive devices for disabilities\, as well as for daily life\, biomedical devices\, tech accessories\, and digital tools for sports: this and much more will be presented at Maker Faire Rome 2023. \nTHE COLLABORATION WITH SONY CSL \nSony CSL aims to contribute to the future of humanity and the planet by promoting the development of sciences and new technologies and their application in various fields. In particular\, at the Rome laboratory\, directed by Vittorio Loreto\, one of the research lines aims to participate in the redesign of our societies with a transdisciplinary approach that uses creativity as a starting point to address the challenges of today’s society. The comment of Vittorio Loreto from Sony CSL: \n“It is precisely in this direction that the Dis.abile | Iper.abile project takes its first steps. One of our research lines has this very objective: to observe and experiment with the interaction between humans and new technologies (such as AI) and understand how both can benefit from this virtuous exchange\, where humans receive inputs from the machine that help them improve. When we learned about the artistic work of CCN/Aterballetto\, we immediately thought of the technology of Ken Endo\, which is why we are here today ready to present this new project at the most important innovation event in Europe.”

And then\, singing\, he starts dancing.\nA long song\, a long dance.\n– Here\, this is poetry!\n \nBalletto Civile – Davidson – ph. Donato Aquaro \nIl Padre Selvaggio (The Savage Father) is an outline of a screenplay written in 1963 by Pier Paolo Pasolini and published posthumously in the fateful 1975. The director did not find financers\, frightened by his freedom of thought\, and the film was never made. It is the story of Davidson\, a sensitive and acute black boy from an African tribe and his encounter with a progressive and tormented teacher – a frontier figure\, alter ego of Pasolini himself – who tries to give his boys a modern and anti-colonialist education. Above all\, this suspended work recounts the conflict between the teacher and Davidson\, wary of the new method and culture of the new teacher precisely because he is the smartest. The heart of this contrast is the dilemma of the relationship between blacks and whites\, the problem of freedom and democracy\, of the tension towards the other than oneself. \nA short and intense piece of writing\, with a strong political and not just poetic value\, a sort of canvas that escapes definitions\, conceived above all as a succession of images and indications of actions. A hybrid screenplay that mixes codes and languages and precisely in the absence of its realization offers great expressive potential. \nAn indefinite form that presents visual qualities that lend themselves to dance staging\, in a vertigo between literary work and physical theatre.\nBalletto Civile met its Davidson on the outskirts of Modena. \nBalletto Civile – Davidson – ph. Donato Aquaro \nBalletto Civile \nA nomadic group by definition\, animated by a strong ethical tension\, Balletto Civile was founded in 2003 by Michela Lucenti. The creative approach is a research based on movement that emerges from the deep scenic relationship between the artists. It works on a total language where theatre\, dance and original song interact naturally.

DESCRIPTION:MM Contemporary Dance Company – Short Stories – cor. Michele Merola\, foto di Creativite \nNIGHT STORIES is the new evening by MM Contemporary Dance Company composed of Quarto Canto by Enrico Morelli\, Short Stories by Michele Merola and Skirk by Adriano Bolognino. \nProduction: MM Contemporary Dance Company \nCo-production Skirk: Comune di Bassano del Grappa – Operaestate Festival Veneto \nWEIRDO_Primo Studio \nChoreography: Enrico Morelli \nOriginal Music: Giuseppe Villarosa \nLighting: Gessica Germini \nCostumes: Nuvia Valestri \nAssistant Choreographer: Paolo Lauri \nPerformers: Filippo Begnozzi\, Emiliana Campo\, Lorenzo Fiorito\, Mario Genovese\, Matilde Gherardi\, Fabiana Lonardo\, Alice Ruspaggiari\, Rossana Samele\, Nicola Stasi\, Giuseppe Villarosa\, Leonardo Zannella \nDuration: 25 minutes \nThe feeling of inadequacy: the only true obstacle to any form of relationship\, including the one with oneself. Who\, in their life\, has never been pervaded by it? Often\, this state stems from the desire to meet others’ expectations: feeling the weight of risk\, fear of failure\, and judgment. Starting from these feelings\, Enrico Morelli presents an initial choreographic study\, drawing inspiration not only from his personal experience but also from that of the performers\, to whom he posed the same question he asks himself: “When do you feel inadequate and out of place\, how do you feel?” \nSHORT STORIES \nChoreography: Michele Merola\nMusic composed and live performed by Natalia Abbascià\nCostumes: Nuvia Valestri\nChoreography assistant: Paolo Lauri\nDancers: Emiliana Campo\, Lorenzo Fiorito\, Mario Genovese\, Fabiana Lonardo\, Nicola Stasi\, Giuseppe Villarosa\nRunning time: 28′ \nShort Stories involves the dancing bodies in a continuous design\, built on repetitions and differences\, moments of solos\, duets and choral scores\, a succession of short stories\, pictures generated by the sound of live music: Natalia Abbascià\, who will play live\, has created a soundtrack that brings together evocative lyrical parts for violin and solo voice. The dancers will make the audience lose the sense of the boundary separating audience and stage space.\nThe pieces that make up the work will be articulated as an expressive landscape that will leave to the subjectivity of the audience the intimate reading of the feelings that the dance and music suggest. \nSKRIK \nChoreography: Adriano Bolognino\nMusic: Max Richter\nLighting design: Gessica Germini\nCostumes: Nuvia Valestri\nChoreography assistant: Rosaria Di Maro\nRepetiteur: Paolo Lauri\nDancers Emiliana Campo\, Lorenzo Fiorito\, Mario Genovese\, Matilde Gherardi\, Fabiana Lonardo\, Alice Ruspaggiari\, Rossana Samele\, Nicola Stasi\, Giuseppe Villarosa\, Leonardo Zannella\nRunning time: 25′ \nCreation in the framework of Prove d’Autore – azione del Network Anticorpi XL. \nAdriano Bolognino’s new work for the MM Contemporary Dance Company\, entitled Skrik\, is inspired by the painting The Scream by Edvard Munch\, a work that led the choreographer to investigate the theme of tragedy\, anguish and the littleness of man in the immensity of the universe. The choreographer himself explains: “The dull cry of the painting – of which I have decided to keep the Norwegian title “Skrik”\, which phonetically recalls an unpleasant sound\, a bump\, a shock – seems to deform the landscape\, giving us instability and fear\, while preserving its immense beauty. Clinging to this dualism that I feel close to me\, I wanted to create a dancing moment that could be a breathless accumulation of all the discontent of these last few years\, but also reach the eyes of the audience as a regenerating waterfall.” \n\n  \nMM Contemporary Dance Company \nThe MM Contemporary Dance Company is a contemporary dance company directed by choreographer Michele Merola\, founded in 1999 as a production centre for events and performances and as a promoter of festivals and workshops with the aim of fostering exchanges and alliances between Italian and international artists\, witnesses and spokesmen of contemporary culture. \nThe repertoire of the company\, which is based in Reggio Emilia\, is rich and varied\, thanks to works by Michele Merola and creations by European and Italian choreographers such as Maguy Marin\, Mats Ek\, Mauro Bigonzetti\, Thomas Noone\, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano\, Karl Alfred Schreiner\, Silvia Gribaudi\, Eugenio Scigliano\, Emanuele Soavi\, Enrico Morelli\, Daniele Ninarello\, Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi\, Roberto Tedesco\, Camilla Monga\, and Adriano Bolognino. \nIn 2010\, the MM Contemporary Dance Company won the prestigious Danza&Danza Award as the best emerging company and today\, it is\, to all intents and purposes\, a reality of excellence in Italian dance\, with a consolidated activity of performances throughout the country. For some years now\, it has conquered an international market with performances in European and non-European countries (Korea\, Colombia\, Canada\, Germany\, Russia\, Morocco\, Belgium\, Spain\, Slovenia\, Hungary\, Czech Republic…). \nIn 2017\, the MM Contemporary Dance Company won the 2017 Europaindanza Prize – Award of Merit for Choreography\, for the performance Bolero by Michele Merola. In 2022\, MMCDC won the Danza&Danza Award for the best Italian production with the performance Ballade (chor. Mauro Bigonzetti\, Enrico Morelli). On 1 January 2021 and 1 January 2022 MMCDC was featured on RAI 1 in Roberto Bolle’s show “Danza con me” performing choreographies by Mauro Bigonzetti and Lorca Massine. \nSince 2018\, the MM Contemporary Dance Company has been an associated company of the Trentino Alto Adige InDanza Circuit. \nMMCDC is supported by the Ministry of Culture\, Emilia-Romagna Region\, Municipality of Reggio Emilia\, Fondazione Nazionale della Danza/Aterballetto\, Centro Permanente Danza/Reggio Emilia. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it \n\n

DESCRIPTION:The 2023/24 season at the Fonderia opens with CALLAS CALLAS CALLAS\, the new production by COB Compagnia Opus Ballet. \nThe evening pays tribute to the great singer by bringing together for the first time three of the most interesting names in Italian contemporary choreography\, Adriano Bolognino\, Carlo Massari\, and Roberto Tedesco (former dancer of Aterballetto)\, in a contemporary and innovative interpretation of one of the most iconic figures of the twentieth century. \nEach choreographer brings to the stage a different aspect of Maria Callas’s life and work in a true “choreographic triptych”\, an unprecedented fresco in which biographical elements\, musical inspirations\, and iconography merge with contemporary dance to create a new language. \nThe project ideally continues the artistic research path that the company has been pursuing for years\, engaging contemporary dance with classical stories and music\, considered “repertoire” that becomes fertile ground for the creation of something completely different. The classical becomes a lens for viewing the contemporary world\, with the aim of deconstructing and enriching the repertoire to speak about a lived\, tangible reality that is close to us. \nCredits\n“`html \nCALLAS CALLAS CALLAS\nCoreography by Adriano Bolognino\, Carlo Massari\, and Roberto Tedesco\nA production by COB Compagnia Opus Ballet\nIn coproduction with Fondazione Festival La Versiliana \nArtistic Direction Rosanna Brocanello\nArtistic Consultant Laura Pulin\nLight Designer Giacomo Ungari\nRepetiteur Giulia Orlando\nOrganization Margherita Fantoni\nDistribution Laura Montagna \nWorld Premiere July 12\, 2023\, Teatro “La Versiliana” (Marina di Pietrasanta) \n\n/DIVINA \nChoreography Adriano Bolognino\nPerformers Giuliana Bonaffini\, Aura Calarco\, Sofia Galvan\, Ginevra Gioli\, Gaia Mondini\nChoreography Assistant Rosaria Di Maro\nMusic by Vito Pizzo\nCostumes by Tns Brand \n/STANDPOINTS\nChoreography Roberto Tedesco\nPerformers Matheus Alves De Oliveira\, Giuliana Bonaffini\, Aura Calarco\, Emiliano Candiago\, Ginevra Gioli\, Gaia Mondini\, Riccardo Papa\, Frederic Zoungla\nMusic by Giuseppe Villarosa\nCostumes by Opificio della Moda e del Costume \n/TOUJOURS LA MORT\nOriginal Creation by Carlo Massari\nPerformers Matheus Alves De Oliveira\, Aura Calarco\, Emiliano Candiago\, Riccardo Papa\, Frederic Zoungla\nMusic Editing by Luca Martone\nSupport for Stage Outfits Giovanna Ficaccio \n\nTotal Duration: 75 minutes\nA 6-minute intermission is included between the choreographies\n“` \nCallas\, Callas\, Callas \nMaria Callas\, “The Divine”\, was endowed with “three voices\,” it was said\, due to her exceptional vocal range. Described as having the talent of a “dramatic coloratura soprano\,” an 19th-century term for her unique timbre. A charismatic woman and artist\, possessing a powerful and theatrical voice\, she was skilled in blending singing and acting\, capable of fiery and engaging interpretations in embodying both seductive and tragic female characters. Her name is engraved in the history of opera. And beyond. Art and style\, triumphs and acclaim\, glamour and personal affairs intertwined in the life of Maria Callas\, “The Divine”. She is also remembered for her diva tantrums\, the mystery of her drastic weight loss\, chronic insomnia\, the child she never had\, her friendship with Pasolini\, and\, above all\, her ill-fated liaison with shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis\, who left his wife for her\, only to abandon her and marry Jackie Kennedy. Callas died\, suffering and alone\, in her Paris apartment on September 16\, 1977\, for causes not yet determined. On the centenary of her birth\, amidst tributes already celebrated and others underway\, that of the COB Compagnia Opus Ballet directed by Rosanna Brocanello\, holds a particular significance also for the originality that inspired it: entrusting three young\, and already established\, contemporary choreographers to create an evening production that reflects their personal vision of the legendary artist\, without intending to recount her life story. Three different perspectives\, therefore\, three approaches and renditions in dance that the beautiful title Callas Callas Callas already highlights. A title that also serves as an invitation\, for the audience\, to discover or rediscover within the folds of movement or the ensemble’s choreography\, among electronic sounds or fragments of famous arias scattered throughout the choreographic architecture\, within a light or a costume that shapes gestures and postures\, their own Callas. Or perhaps a new\, unseen one\, suggested\, evoked\, imprinted in the atmosphere and memory by abstract dance. Surely\, three famous arias will be recognized\, whether subtly hinted or prominently displayed: from Tosca\, Norma\, and Carmen. \n\n STANDPOINTS by Roberto Tedesco (ph. Paolo Bonciani)\nRoberto Tedesco merges the notes of Vissi d’arte with the electronic musical score composed by Giuseppe Villarosa\, incorporating also snippets of interviews and voice interferences. In the famous aria’s lyrics\, extracted from Tosca\, the Calabrian choreographer identifies the moment when Callas is at death’s door\, wanting to reaffirm to everyone that she lived deeply for art and love as simply a person\, a woman\, before being considered a diva. It is mainly in the sound structure that the choreographer imbues his vision of Callas’s life\, almost wanting to prepare the audience – quoting George Balanchine – to “see the music and listen to the dance.” Tedesco weaves an imaginary dramaturgy with an almost chronological musical journey\, from the years in New York where Callas was born\, to her Greek origins; from Italy\, which\, with La Scala Theatre\, brought her the greatest success\, to France where she eventually retired. Vague jazz sounds initially allude to America\, then those of the Bouzouki to Greece\, and a 1970s pop song to the mood of suffering that accompanied her. On a gradually increasing techno rhythm\, a choral dance pulsates within the bodies – male and female\, a single entity -\, dressed in stylized \nCOB COMPAGNIA OPUS BALLET \nDirected by Rosanna Brocanello since its foundation\, the company is made up of a stable core of professional dancers and to date has produced a vast repertoire of productions. The latest include: Vivaldi’s Le Quattro stagioni (2020) by choreographer Aurelie Mounier and with music performed live by the Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto; RIGHT. La Sagra della Primavera (2021) by Carlo Massari in a co-production with C&C Company and Teatro Stabile del Veneto\, Oriente Occidente Dance Festival\, Associazione Culturale Mosaico Danza/Interplay Festival (Project winner of the CollaborAction XL 2020 action Network Anticorpi XL coordinated by the Ass. Or perhaps another\, unprecedented one that abstract dance can suggest\, evoke\, imprint in the atmosphere and memory. We will certainly recognise\, contaminated or barely revealed\, three famous arias: from Tosca\, Norma\, Carmen. \nSTANDPOINTS by Roberto Tedesco (ph. Paolo Bonciani) \n\nRoberto Tedesco blends the notes of Vissi d’arte on the electronic musical score composed by Giuseppe Villarosa\, within which he also mixes excerpts from interviews and interference of voices. In the words of the famous aria\, extrapolated from Tosca\, the Calabrian choreographer pinpoints the moment when Callas is on the point of death\, and wants to reiterate to everyone that she lived profoundly of art and love\, being simply a person\, a woman\, before being considered a diva. It is above all in the sound structure that the choreographer imprints his vision of Callas’s life\, as if to predispose the spectator – quoting George Balanchine – to “see the music and hear the dance”. Tedesco interweaves an imaginary dramaturgy with a musical journey\, almost chronological\, from the years in New York\, where Callas was born\, to her Greek origins; from Italy\, which\, with the Teatro alla Scala\, gave her her greatest success\, to France\, where she retired for good. Vague jazz sounds at first recall America\, then those of the Bouzouki to Greece\, and a piece of light music from the 1970s to the mood of suffering that accompanied her. Over a rising\, almost techno rhythm\, a choral dance grafts the bodies – male and female\, a single entity -\, clad in stylised red corsets and black masks in the shape of abatjours.\nAn aesthetic that harks back to the theatrical costumes of opera\, and to that world of fashion of which Callas\, inspiring many designers\, was also an icon. \nDIVINA by Adriano Bolognino (ph. Paolo Bonciani) \nThe Neapolitan choreographer Adriano Bolognino – a lover of all that is part of that glamorous universe – emphasises this fashionable divism in his creation\, emphasising his ‘Callas imagery’ also in terms of aesthetics\, combined with the strength\, rigour and whimsy of dance.\nSpeed and rhythm characterise his language. It is embodied by the five dancers with a combative gesturality that underlies certain references from the soprano’s life: her singing\, her Greek roots\, her failed motherhood\, her tormented love affair. Always on stage\, the quintet plays between softness and broken movements\, rhythms and pauses\, to the introductory music composed by Vito Pizzo\, which acts as a prelude to flow and close with Casta diva (from a recording by the Opéra de Paris). \nTOUJOURS LA MORT by Carlo Massari (ph. Paolo Bonciani) \nCarlo Massari\, on the other hand\, does not engage with any particular sound contaminations in his creative journey through the Callas universe. With a dramaturgy linked to an even ironic component that impacts with the sound dimension\, what envelops the ether is\, after listening on a loop\, the recognisable voice of the singer in the famous Habanera from Carmen – the simple bolero of the costumes recalls Bizet’s opera – and further on the Aria delle carte\, when the playing cards predict to the gypsy woman the approach of death. And it is this vision that allows Massari’s choreography\, with Callas who\, in her physical perishing\, lives knowing the end that awaits her. The applause we hear at the beginning accompanies her as she retraces the thread of her existence\, until she leaves us with the memory of her sublime voice\, of the immortal artist. “There is no movement if there is no thought and there is no thought if there is no sense” is the assumption that has always animated Massari’s work. In line with his own modality that crosses and combines the different languages of the performing arts – theatre\, dance\, music -\, the Bolognese choreographer stages the protagonist accompanied by ‘black souls’\, a sort of coloured spirits – the colours of the voice – that follow and support her in her last breath of life. \nEverything contributes\, in the three creations\, to the spectator’s reading of the scenic event\, who is thus urged to find his own Callas\, to identify his own myth. \nby Giuseppe Distefano \nCOB COMPAGNIA OPUS BALLET \nDirected by Rosanna Brocanello since its foundation\, the company is made up of a stable core of professional dancers and to date has produced a vast repertoire of productions. SUMMARY:Made in Italy 29.0
DESCRIPTION:The protagonists of the evening are the dancers of the Agora Coaching Project\, an advanced training project promoted and supported by the MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D Progetto Danza of Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli. Started in 2010\, the course is gaining full recognition in the European dance world and boasts collaborations with internationally renowned teachers and choreographers. \nOn stage Made in Italy 29.0 with choreographies by Enrico Morelli and Ivan Alboresi. \nAGORA COACHING PROJECT\nAGORA COACHING PROJECT is a two-year dance training project for dancers between the ages of 16 and 22. Agora aims to train artists ready to flexibly face the variety of the international dance market\, artists capable of responding to the different technical/stylistic demands coming from this same market. \nThe aim is to provide a solid basis for learning the various techniques in use on the international contemporary dance scene and the different repertoires through the alternation of qualified teachers and artists by bringing to the stage the works created by guest choreographers. The course aims to offer a wide range of stimuli\, technical\, cultural and exchange between students and choreographers\, each of whom comes from and works in different realities among the most interesting on the international scene. Agora brings dancers together with established choreographers and directors of prestigious companies\, thus giving students the opportunity to obtain work contracts; Agora thus represents an active and effective bridge between training and the world of work\, having built a network of collaborations with numerous European companies over the years. Many Agora students are currently working in these prestigious ensembles. \nArtistic direction: Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli \nDancers: Camilla Aiazzi\, Corrado Azzollini\, Beatrice Ballarò\, Erica Barusco\, Gaia Belli\, Marek Brafa\, Anna Dal Maso\, Laura Dell’Agnese\, Sally Demonte\, Pietro Di Salvo\, Vittoria Facci\, Chiara Gionti\, Luca Guerrieri\, Sofia Lacava\, Carlotta Lo Piano\, Erika Loprieno\, Giulia Lusetti\, Gioele Marcante\, Carlotta Maucioni\, Marta Monaci\, Federico Musumeci\, Carmine Olivazzi\, Martina Pagliari\, Martina Procacci\, Emily Rondanini\,Susanna Russing\, Alessia Russo\, Alessio Saccheri\, Viviana Sanfilippo\, Sara Scarponi\, Micol Scotto\, Diletta Suman\, Giorgia Talami\, Gennaro Todisco\,Diletta Torelli \nDIMORA DELL'ANIMA \nChoreography Ivan Alboresi\nMusic Davidson Jaconello\, Travis Lake\, Joep Beving\nCostumes Nuvia Valestri \nIvan Alboresi’s new choreography for Agora Coaching Project is developed on the ‘breathing’ of bodies and on the attention to touching and caring for the other. The study made with the young dancers of the course is understood as an act of connection between the choreographer’s poetics of movement and the outcome of the transmission on the different bodies of the performers. \nThrough the exchange of energy and mutual support\, choreographic actions based on the interplay of mutual support between bodies and souls\, proximity and absence\, are constructed. In creating the choreographic score\, the starting point was memory and the desire to return the gesture of supporting the other\, thinking of the body as an infinite\, inexhaustible source of memories\, fragility and compassion. The performers establish a visible dialogue between their physical strengths and the importance of their gazes and their sensitive touch\, changing the perspective of seeking each other out. The audience\, freely observing the choreographic action\, crosses and crosses musical and choreographic suggestions\, developing a perceptive and subjective reading. \nTHE RITE OF SPRING (2011) \nChoreography Enrico Morelli\nMusic Igor Stravinsky\nCostumes Nuvia Valestri\nChoreography Assistant Annalisa Perricone \nOn 29 May 2013\, Igor Stravinsky’s Le Sacre du Printemps turned one hundred years old and the entire dance world remembered and celebrated this event. After the scandal it caused at its debut\, with the first version of the choreography\, created in Paris by Vaslav Nijinsky for Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes\, the score has become well known\, and recognisable at the first beat. Le Sacre is inspired by an ancient Slavic legend\, according to which every spring a virgin had to be ritually sacrificed so that the earth could flourish again. \nIn his interpretation of Le Sacre\, Morelli approaches this score with profound respect.\nIn the resulting staging\, a facet of the frantic dynamism of our time is reflected. To combat old and new fears\, and to exorcise the evil of living that accompanies the present\, every opportunity is good to find a scapegoat.\nIn Enrico Morelli’s directorial choice\, on the bare stage\, as the only element\, lugubrious slaughterhouse hooks emerge from the darkness and loom from the ceiling. They are as many swords of Damocles\, a stern warning inviting us to look back to the past\, to the times of terror and death when so many men were sent to the slaughterhouse\, considered ‘numbers’ without identity or dignity. \nThe assumption of the choreography is all here: as long as human beings sacrifice their fellow human beings to the violence of blind cannibalism\, and do not choose the path of respect for others\, the light of culture and the clarity of reason will not prevail. Then\, forever and ever\, each individual will only be able to think and want the evil of others\, to eliminate anyone who stands in the way of the fulfilment of his desires. Everyone will have in his neighbour an enemy. From this will result war of all against all\, with no more right or wrong. Thus the animal man will be condemned to remain Homo homini lupus. \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 10 euro\nReduced price under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, CRAL members Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced price under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 8 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it \n\n

Inspired by the many stories of gender violence recounted in literature and melodrama\, only a small number compared to the infinite number of stories in the daily news\, the project “Corpi violati” (Violated Bodies) by the Compagnia Artemis Danza\, founded and directed by Monica Casadei.\nThe choreographic project was born from the desire to bring attention to the theme of violence against women\, and from Artemis Danza’s long-standing collaboration with the Anti-Violence Centres of the D.I.Re Network (Women in the Network against Violence). \nCOMPAGNIA ARTEMIS DANZA \nBorn in Ferrara and graduated with honours with a thesis on Plato and dance\, Monica Casadei\, after a competitive career in rhythmic gymnastics\, devoted herself to the study of classical and modern dance\, first in Italy\, then in London\, and finally in Paris\, where she met choreographers Pierre Doussaint and Isabelle Doubouloz and master André Cognard Hanshi So shihan\, with whom she still practices the martial art of Aikido. He founded the company Artemis Danza in France\, with which he moved to Italy in 1997\, giving life to an intense production activity that counts\, to date\, over forty original creations. From 1998 to 2007 the company was in residence at the Fondazione Teatro Due in Parma\, while since 2014 it has been in artistic residence at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna. Artemis Danza has been invited to the most important Italian theatres and festivals and to numerous international tours and festivals. \nFundamental to Monica Casadei’s artistic research is the contamination with different artistic\, cultural and geographic territories\, as well as the exploration of places and urban spaces that become the stage for performative actions. \nAlongside its production activity\, Artemis supports\, produces and promotes young authors and carries out multiple activities to educate the public. \nartemisdanza.com \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS \nFull price: 10 euro\nReduced price under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, CRAL members Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced price under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Foundry is open from 8 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

DESCRIPTION:The increasingly interesting company Equilibrio Dinamico returns to the Fonderia with two new productions. \nStruggle for the Soul is the new creation by company director Roberta Ferrara. The choreography represents on stage the inner dissension present in each of us. \nWelcome to my funeral is the production by Brandon Lagaert\, an artist who has been collaborating for years with the internationally renowned dance theatre company Peeping Tom. The creation is also supported by the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto. \n  \nStruggle for the Soul \nStudio\nChoreography: Roberta Ferrara\nDancers: Antonello Amati and Olivia Grassot \nThe study focuses on the ongoing battle between our fixed body and our eternal spirit. The performers seek peaceful coexistence as if there were two great wolves living inside each of them: one white\, the other black. \nIf they choose to feed them both\, they will never fight for each other’s attention and will be able to use each of them as needed. SUMMARY:BEAST WITHOUT BEAUTY
DESCRIPTION:Beast Without Beauty – Carlo Massari – ph. \n  \n\n  \nCREDITS\nOriginal creation Carlo Massari \nProduction C&C Company \nWith Carlo Massari\, Emanuele Rosa\, Giuseppina Randi \nSound and lighting design Francesco Massari \nConsulting costumes Gabriella Strangolini \nHairstyling Bruna Toneatto \nIn co-production Festival “Danza in Rete” Fondazione Teatro Comunale Città di Vicenza \nWith the support of Festival Oriente Occidente/CID Centro Internazionale della Danza\, CSC/OperaEstate\, Piemonte dal vivo\, ARTEVEN\, Komm-tanz Compagnia Abbondanza/ Bertoni\, h(abita)t – Rete di Spazi per la Danza/Leggere Strutture Art Factory\, Municipality of San Lazzaro di Savena “Protagonismo e Creatività \nWith the support of Residenza I.DRA. and Teatri di Vita within the framework of the “Progetto CURA 2018” \nWith the support of the programme MOVIN’UP SPETTACOLO – PERFORMING ARTS single session 2018/2019 curated by MINISTRY FOR CULTURAL HERITAGE AND ACTIVITIES – General Directorate for the Performing Arts (MiBAC – DG S) and Association for the Circuit of Young Italian Artists (GAI) together with Association of Young Artists of Emilia-Romagna (GA/ER ) With the support of MiBACT and SIAE “Sillumina – Private copies for young people\, for culture”\nSYNOPSIS\nYet another cold\, cold\, merciless look at society. \nAn irreverent\, cynical study of the archetypes of human misery\, of inexpressiveness\, of despicable cruelty in interpersonal relationships. Losers in a superficial relationship face each other in an icy duel; at stake is the affirmation of a role\, an identity\, a social position\, survival. There are no rules\, everything is allowed: we lend ourselves to be prey\, designated victims of the other\, we are aware of it\, we are just waiting for it to happen\, and in turn we are ready to pounce\, offend\, cleave\, crush\, tear\, to mercilessly finish him off\, but without getting our hands dirty. \nA perverse aristocratic game of double-crossing\, of abuse; a hidden\, unspoken\, pastel-coloured violence that leads irretrievably to slaughter\, to extinction; there will be no winners\, only losers. Of all the fussing\, nothing happens…. And so we implode\, unable to get back up\, we abandon ourselves but being careful not to ruin our hairdo\, smudge our make-up\, crease our suits\, not to lose dignity lest we suffer acts of cannibalism\, be devoured by others\, by our emptiness\, by the deaf silence. An attempt to physically recount the evil of living\, the Beckettian paralysis: a man deluded\, desperate to the point of becoming insensitive\, now unable to take charge of his life and remove it from the misery in which he has become mired. A comedy of the absurd (in which we suffer the absurd in spite of ourselves) with the existentialist and post-existentialist flavour of Beckett’s theatre\, perfectly expressed in his ‘Happy Days‘. \nAn authentic plunge into non-sense\, a black irony counterpointing the emaciated pallor of the faces\, a fascination in the absurdity of the scenes\, in the estrangement from human participation in the actions\, in the facts; bloodless figures\, devoid of energy\, exhausted and dehumanised\, as at the end of a long war\, who know they have served no purpose except to do themselves and their own useless harm\, to become cynical and opportunistic in the face of death to the point of contradicting themselves and betraying their playmates. \nBeast Without Beauty – Carlo Massari – ph. Giulia Marangoni \nCARLO MASSARI \nCarlo Massari is a performer\, choreographer and transdisciplinary creator active on the Italian and international contemporary scene. He has always been committed to the research of new performing languages\, and he delves into the hybridisation and mixing of different artistic disciplines\, defining in the “amphibious” form his clear and recognisable distinctive trait. \nHis eclectic training and professional career is characterised by experiences that alternate between prose and musical theatre\, and even dance and physical theatre. His Masters include: Malou Airaudo\, Michela Lucenti\, Sonia Schoonejans\, Theatre de l’Ange Fou\, ATER Balletto\, Lucio Dalla\, Csaba Antal\, Walter Le Moli\, Claudio Longhi\, Pietro Luigi Floridia. \nOver the years he has collaborated as a performer for: Biennale di Venezia\, Barbara Nativi\, Marco Baliani\, Teatro dell’Argine\, TeatroDue\, Cie.Balletto Civile\, Cie.Abbondanza-Bertoni\, Cie.della Rancia\, Cie.Petri Dish. \nIn 2011 he co-founded C&C Company\, a research and production company in the field of dance-theatre (recognised by the MIC)\, for which he is Artistic Director and is responsible for the award-winning creations: Maria Addolorata (HiverOclytes – Avignon\, International Choreographic Competition – Hannover\, Tanzpreize – Berne)\, Tristissimo (Premio Roma Danza\, Les Lendemains qui Dansent – Arques)\, Beast without Beauty (ActFestival – Bilbao)\, Les Miserables (NID Platform)\, Right./span> \nIn 2020 he was awarded the CollaborActionXL prize by the AnticorpiXL Network and became an Associate Artist of the Oriente Occidente Festival. \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 10 euro\nReduced under 30\, scuole di danza\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, soci CRAL Comune di Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online su www.biglietteriafonderia39.it.\nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 8 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

Giulia Marangoni CARLO MASSARI \nCarlo Massari is a performer\, choreographer and transdisciplinary creator active on the Italian and international contemporary scene. \nINFO & TICKETSTICKETS\nFull: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online su www.biglietteriafonderia39.it.\nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 5 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it
