Apre la serata DanceHaus Company / DanceHauspiù di Milano con I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud del coreografo Matteo Bittante: i versi del poeta inglese Wordsworth fanno da sfondo al rito bucolico ed errabondo dei tre danzatori in cui la forza vitale e la quiete idilliaca della natura si contrappongono ai turbamenti e alla confusione della città. Scenario Pubblico/Compagnia Zappalà Danza di Catania presenta in prima nazionale x2\, atto d’amore artistico che Roberto Zappalà vuole dedicare al grande compositore Johann Sebastian Bach. In this new creation by choreographer Matteo Bittante\, co-director and resident artist of the National Centre for Dance Production\, DANCEHAUSpiù\, the poet’s verses form the backdrop to the bucolic and wandering rite of the three dancers in which the vital force and idyllic quiet of nature contrast with the upheavals and confusion of the city. DESCRIPTION:Aterballetto dances at the Teatro Rossini in Pesaro an evening that combines the choreographies of Hofesh Shechter and Ohad Naharin. \nHofesh Shechter is one of the most intense and visceral contemporary choreographers. Perhaps because the music is almost always composed by himself and is closely in tune with the energy of his movement. The result is a punch\, as he himself says\, a punch with which the viewer is hit by a wave of energy. In Wolf  we find a sort of wild animality that crosses sometimes men and sometimes women. The painting that is composed drags us into a mysterious and engaging universe. \n\n  \nSecus is a creation by Ohad Naharin that boasts a musical collage that extends from the unusual electronic styles of AGF to the seductive Indian melodies of Kaho Naa Pyar Hai to the resonant harmonies of the Beach Boys. This adventurously eclectic mix serves as a suitable backdrop for the boldly extravagant choreography. Under our unbelieving eyes\, we compose a human alphabet made up of races\, solos\, clear and clean gestures\, interrupted duets\, which\, through precise and sudden kicks\, sinuous disarticulations of the hips\, torsos that bend in all directions like rubber to be shaped\, expresses pure emotions and feelings without becoming sentimental. Joy\, vulnerability\, fear\, innocence\, confusion and anger weave a harmonious and dynamic canvas that oscillates between delicacy and exaggeration. \n  \n\n

La scrittura coreografica attinge da calligrafie multiculturali\, risultando un linguaggio universale: come il racconto dell’anima dell’uomo. \n  \nDéjà Donné \nThe contemporary dance company Déjà Donné was founded in 1997 in Prague; in 2000 the head office moved to Umbria where an intense activity of creation and circulation of shows began\, both in Italy and abroad. It is only one’s own eyes that exercise that vision. The constant T is a transcendent number. toPRAY does not speak of the constant T\, but tells of the point of view from which one observes. toPRAY is a corridor: sometimes to reach the human soul the path is long and narrow. Other times contemporary man does not find the time to choose complex roads\, to cross them the time he takes corresponds to the constant T. We cross the symbols that in history we have attributed to what we cannot see\, to give life a different value\, to recognize beyond the FORM a different level. \nWhat does it mean to ‘pray’? We look for an answer in each ACTION. Perhaps acting itself is an act of worship: contemporary man acts on the body\, drawing a cult from it. We always look for an answer\, asking ourselves if in the end we are a soul that possesses a body. If what we have most sacred is the imagination through which we will be able to identify the soul in the course of life. \ntoPRAY is a show in which urban dances are mixed with contemporary gestures\, producing a dance out of the box\, out of time. The choreographic writing draws from multicultural calligraphy\, resulting in a universal language: like the story of the soul of man. toPRAY is a human path built and lived with ups and downs\, similar to the path of growth of a man. We dancers were asked more questions\, to which we answered with gestures and movements; they were questions that contained complex\, personal concepts. DESCRIPTION:OPEN REHEARSAL_PULCINELLA\nIn making his own version of Pulcinella\, Michele Merola respects the past\, but moves in his own way. The soundtrack is composed of some pieces of the ballet and the “excursions” of the composer Stefano Corrias. The contamination of the original score is dictated by the need to have more intimate moments to clarify who Punchinello really is: the choreographer wanted to highlight the solitary and melancholy side of the Neapolitan standard bearer. \n“Pulcinella – says Merola – is also an image of loneliness\, which never dies: it seems to die several times during the show\, but then always gets up\, because his freedom could be suffocated\, but always comes back to life.” \n  \nMM CONTEMPORARY DANCE COMPANY \nMM Contemporary Dance Company – winner in 2010 of the prestigious Dance & Dance Award and in 2017 of the Europaindanza Award – is a reality of excellence in Italian dance\, with a consolidated activity of shows throughout the country. B. Pergolesi and other authors of the 17th and 18th centuries. The composer gives his own sign to the dancing pages in themselves\, like so much music of the 18th century: in tune with the subject\, he makes a gentle caricature of it\, celebrated for the richness of its rhythms and the freshness of its harmonies\, exalted by Leonide Massine\, choreographer\, and Pablo Picasso\, for his scenes and costumes. \nIn creating his own version\, Michele Merola respects the past\, and the great masterpieces produced on the subject\, but moves on his own path. The soundtrack is composed of some pieces of the ballet and the “excursions” made by the composer Stefano Corrias. The contamination of the original score is dictated by the need to have more intimate moments\, more bare from the musical point of view\, to be able to clarify who is really Pulcinella: the choreographer wanted to highlight in this work the solitary\, melancholy and dramatic side of the Neapolitan standard bearer. \n“Pulcinella – says the choreographer – is a person\, is an image\, is a thought of loneliness. It is a thought that never dies\, in fact in choreography this character seems to die several times\, but then always rises\, a sign of his continuous possibility of rebirth\, because the freedom that Punchinello carries within him\, all that is new\, all that is freedom\, all that is truth could be suffocated\, but always comes back to life.” \nIn the predominant black and white of the costumes and the scene\, only a hint of red appears: it is Pulcinella\, whose heart beats beyond any attempt to make him die\, and continues to pulsate\, for better or for worse\, in black and white. What remains\, in this ballet\, of its first edition? Once the story has been reduced to the essential\, and the accessory characters have been eliminated\, Pimpinella\, the young girl loved by Pulcinella\, the Wizard\, who uses light as a guide to find a way out in the course of history\, and the two couples of lovers remain. DESCRIPTION:MM Contemporary Dance Company presents Agora Coaching Project in Made in Italy 23.0\nThe protagonists are the dancers of Agora Coaching Project\, a project of advanced training in dance promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D Progetto Danza di Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli. Born in 2010\, the course is now gaining full recognition in the European dance world and boasts collaborations with internationally renowned teachers and choreographers. \nCREDITS \nChoreographies Michele Merola and Emanuele Soavi\nMusic Various authors\nLighting design Cristina Spelti \nAGORA COACHING PROJECT \nAGORA COACHING PROJECT is an annual project of improvement in dance for dancers aged between 18 and 22 years\, which is based in Reggio Emilia.\nBorn in 2010\, the course is directed by Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli\, and is promoted and supported by MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D. Progetto Danza di Reggio Emilia. It aims to train artists ready to deal flexibly with the variety of the international dance market\, artists able to respond to requests of different nature\, technical / stylistic\, which come from this same market. \nThe course aims to offer a wide range of technical and cultural stimuli and exchange between students and choreographers\, each of whom comes from and works in different realities among the most interesting on the international scene.
