DESCRIPTION:IMMA\nMystical Images of Aisha’s Morocco\nInvisible mother of death\, Aisha\nImmortal Aisha\n \nIdea Teresa Noronha Feio and Gabriele Licchelli\nWith Teresa Noronha Feio\, Gabriele Licchelli and Saverio Bari\nProject by Fondazione Nazionale della Danza in partnership with Les Halles de Schaerbeek – Bruxelles and Maison de l’Elu – Marrakech \nFor Voices&Borders the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza introduces IMMA by Gabriele Licchelli videomaker and Teresa Noronha Feio dancer\, two young artists that Fondazione Nazionale della Danza promotes\, assisted by the actor and dramaturg Saverio Bari: a research project into the myth of Aisha Kandisha\, a Jinniyya from Moroccan mythology\, whose uncertain origins lie somewhere between Portugal and Sudan. IMMA is an attempt (not faithful) to capture her essence and translate it into a trans-disciplinary performance that employs choreography and cinema as languages of betrayal of the materials collected during the residency in Marrakech in the early months of 2018.

DESCRIPTION:Beating music\, psychedelic lights: it is something external to the bodies that dictate the law in Pasiphae\, a short and intense composition of the promise of the Italian choreography Diego Tortelli. Three performers at the mercy of external conditioning (or of a God) for this passage that moves from the Greek myth of Pasiphae to tell the collective unconscious in the face of the inevitability of events. The longing is to overcome the boundary of the human as evidenced by the distortion in choreographic research and the use of the mask.
