Emilia-Romagna un patrimonio di culture e umanità is an initiative of the Emilia-Romagna Region celebrating the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018\, culminating in the Week of promotion of culture from 07 to 14 October. \nThe Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto is present in Bologna with its site specific project In/Finito. \nThis time the six dancers were photographed while performing in some of the most evocative spaces of the university area\, such as Teatro Comunale\, Palazzo Poggi and Musei Universitari\, the courtyard of Palazzo Malvezzi Campeggi\, the interior of Palazzo Malvezzi de’ Medici\, the portico of San Giacomo Maggiore. \nTwo photographic installations were created\, Movimento Meccanico di Vetrofanie Spazio Labo’ Photography (Roberto Alfano\, Laura De Marco\, Giuseppe De Mattia) and Infinito space di Telografie TerzoTropico (Pino Ninfa\, Ivano Adversi)\, set up at Palazzo Poggi\, in via Zamboni 33. \nIn/Finito’s performance is\, instead\, at the Ulysses Room of the Academies of Sciences\, in via Zamboni 31\, Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 at 17.00\, 17.30\, 18.00\, 18.30\, 19.00 and 19.30. \nAdmission is free with reservation: https://www.eventbrite.it/o/bologna-estate-2018-comune-di-bologna-11792658788

DESCRIPTION:NINE BELLS\nWorld premiere \nChoreography Valerio Longo\nDirection\, set and costume design Valerio Longo and Carlo Cerri\nMusic Tom Johnson’s Nine Bells\nPerformed live by Simone Beneventi\nLighting design Carlo Cerri\nCritical consultant Giuseppe Distefano\nPerformers Valerio Longo and Simone Beneventi \nNine Bells is a performance for a dancer-choreographer\, a percussionist\, nine bells and a light designer\, on the work of the composer Tom Johnson\, born from the encounter between Valerio Longo with the music of percussionist Simone Beneventi\, already awarded the Silver Lion at the Venice Music Biennale 2010.\nNine Bells explores the multiple combinations of 9 bells suspended in a 3 × 3 grid\, where each bell is located about 2 meters away from the others. The music is produced by the tolling of the bells\, following precise paths around the installation.
