Rust is a dramaturgical thought that deals with the dark\, unease\, caprice\,\nsuffering; observing these emotions and the actions they provoke without judgment. Rust is a dedication to the area that is usually hidden with great effort. The choreography does not generate an answer\, but rather creates a path that allows one to immerse and cross these moods and dissect them without prejudice. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and continued his dance studies while simultaneously starting his professional career as a freelance dancer in Switzerland and Germany. In 2013\, he developed his first personal movement research project. In 2014\, he founded MP.ideograms and the following year debuted at the Equilibrio Festival and at the Vetrina della Giovane danza d’autore in Ravenna. In 2016\, he participated in the “VITA NOVA” project of the Venice Biennale with the first chapter of the “Primitiva” project\, which continued in 2017 at Scenario Pubblico in Catania. In the same year\, he won the GD’A Giovane Danza D’Autore Award. Since 2017\, he has collaborated with BTT \ Balletto Teatro di Torino as a guest teacher and since 2019 as a choreographer. He was an Associated Choreographer at the National Dance Production Center Scenario Pubblico/CZD in the three-year period 2019-2021. In the three-year period 2022-24\, he became an Associated Choreographer at the MilanOltre Festival. It is a dramaturgical exploration of the obscure\, restlessness\, caprice\, suffering; observing these emotions and the actions they provoke without judgment. Ruggine is a dedication to the area that is usually concealed with great effort. The choreography doesn’t generate an answer but rather creates a path that allows immersion and traversal of these moods\, dissecting them without prejudice. In 2002\, he was a scholarship holder at the Isola Danza Academy directed by Carolyn Carlson and worked as a freelance dancer in theater-dance and contemporary dance companies across Europe. Upon returning to Italy\, he collaborated with Simona Bertozzi and Damian Munoz for various dance companies. In 2014\, he founded MP.ideograms and won the Equilibrio Prize with the solo “Grafiche del Silenzio.” In 2016\, he participated in the VITA NOVA project at the Venice Biennale with the first chapter of the Primitiva project\, which continued in 2017 at the National Center for Dance Production Scenario Pubblico/Compagnia Zappalà Danza\, where he became an Associate Choreographer for the triennium 2018/20. DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, January 28th Aterballetto performs at the Teatro Comunale di Todi\, as part of the 2023/2024 season organized by the Teatro Stabile dell’Umbria. For the occasion\, the entire company of sixteen dancers presents a triptych composed of Alpha Grace\, and “O” by Philippe Kratz\, and Shoot me by Diego Tortelli. \n\n– \n\n– \n\nBetween past and future\, two creations by Philippe Kratz. Alpha Grace\, a pas de six\, is a reflection on empathy\, a form of gentle communication between people who feel on the same level. It\, too\, is put to the test by the present times. \nFollowing that is “O”\, two bodies/automatons that force us to question how the sense of physical contact might change: will it remain emotional and felt\, or become serial and alienated? \nClosing the performance is the choreography by Diego Tortelli\, Shoot me\, which\, in its construction\, draws inspiration from the concept of a concert-ballet revisited in a contemporary key\, where music and dance accompany each other. A frontal work that aims to establish a direct exchange between the dancers on stage and the audience in the auditorium: a game of seduction\, of glances\, of sweat\, an assault on the senses\, and an ode to the body\, to breathing the same air\, sweat\, tears\, fury\, pride.

DESCRIPTION:Lena is a performance that arises from an investigation into the gesture of pushing\, understood as a multifaceted relational gesture. \nThe object to which this research refers is the swing: an object of ancestral simplicity of which we all know the sensation and condition. An object capable of providing us with a specific and exclusive dynamic of movement. Starting from these premises and from the investigation around the swing object\, of which the playful dimension is also mentioned\, the performance focuses on the search for that gray area between play and violence\, between playful and sadistic\, between joke and spite. The push\, in its repetition\, changes meaning\, unleashes different imaginaries\, acquires new values: it is a gesture that in the relational sphere often defines roles of power and strength. \nThis research aims to investigate the different meanings that this gesture carries with it\, encapsulating them\, showing them\, and transforming them through the repetition of a dynamic. Kratz’s creation\, with music specially composed by Pierfrancesco Perrone\, addresses this strangely indissoluble bond\, which is not determined solely by functional utility or vain desire for possession but can also entail a loss of autonomy. The projections related to the desires that dominate our world of goods and consumption are also reflected by dividing the scenic space in two. In contrast to the fairy tale\, which ends with the violent liberation of the protagonist from the red shoes and her redemption\, Kratz’s choreography ultimately focuses on questioning the role of objects in interpersonal relationships. \nI don’t perceive Karen as disobedient or vain\, a perspective that is emphasized in the fairy tale. Nowadays\, we are so accustomed to consuming and often see products as a means to an end\, to get noticed by others\, to relate to others\, and to emphasize our individuality. DESCRIPTION:  \nCompagnia Artemis Danza\, with this new creation by Monica Casadei\, dedicates its artistic project to the contemporary representation\, investigation\, and interpretation of four captivating heroines of the Lucchese composer: Tosca\, Madama Butterfly\, Mimì \, and Turandot. \nUnderstanding Puccini’s music involves analyzing its deep relationship with the female world. A clear message from the titles chosen for his most celebrated works: Tosca\, Butterfly\, Turandot\, La Bohème. A kaleidoscope of different personalities\, a universe full of facets\, sensitivities. In the four scenes that make up Puccini’s Opera\, recognizable even without any didactic necessity\, we find Casadei’s personal interpretation of the feminine theme\, placed at the center of a process of choreographic\, visual\, and musical reinterpretation. Tragic love\, thwarted and opposed love\, cruel love that annihilates\, the desire for possession that leads to destruction\, live in the faces\, bodies\, and gestures of the Company and continue to make us reflect on the relevance of stories that have moved audiences worldwide. The creation is permeated with a poignant atmosphere\, full of tension and poetic suggestion. \nAgainst Puccini’s orchestral score\, the electronic tracks of composers Luca Vianini and Fabio Fiandrini counterpose\, creating an enveloping and at times apocalyptic sound space. Being a small community part of a much larger community\, we wondered what our desires were and how to achieve them together. Some of them can be realized on stage. And the others? Not always finding the answers\, we meanwhile played with the questions. Shortly after the start of rehearsals\, time stopped for everyone. For a long time\, compressing. Rehearsal weeks were cut in half. The desires and questions no longer had anything to do with the unexpected experience of the last few months. At the time I write these lines\, the show does not yet exist. It will exist thanks to the encounter with the spectators. Creating a show is like traveling: you prepare\, you rehearse\, but there are always many surprises and unexpected events. Ambra Senatore’s dance is close to human beings and loves to go out and meet people and places. The choreographer creates works that speak of collectivity and create bonds between people. Relationships are at the heart of all her research. In her work\, everyday life is “observed under a magnifying glass\,” shifted and turned upside down. A lover of surprises\, cuts\, and repetitions reminiscent of cinema\, Ambra Senatore recomposes reality like a film director. In Italy\, she trained with R. Castello and R. Giordano\, with whom she soon collaborated. As a performer\, she has worked with J. C. Gallotta\, G. Rossi\, G. Lavaudant\, and A. Tagliarini. In the early 2000s\, she created pieces in collaboration while completing a doctorate in contemporary dance. In 2004\, she began writing choreographies with solos\, which she performed until 2009\, and then with group pieces\, asserting her hybrid style that combines dance\, theater\, and profound humanity.
