SUMMARY:GAP OF 42
DESCRIPTION:GAP of 42 – Chris Iris – ph. Kai Hebestreit \n  \nThe acrobatic dance show Gap of 42 created and performed by two very talented German artists\, Christopher Schlunk and Iris Pelz\, is coming to the Fonderia for the first time. Extraordinary acrobatics and situational comedy meet in a contemporary and entertaining show where two apparently very different bodies come together to create something incredible. \nCREDITS \nBy and with Iris Pelz e Christopher Schlunk \nOutside-eye: Stefan Schönfeld \nMusicc: Schroeder (with Jan Fitschen | Felix Borel | Bella Nugent) \nObject theatre coaching: Anne-Kathrin Klatt \nDance coaching: Laura Börtlein \nLighting design: Marvin Wöllner \nSYNOPSIS \nTwo dissimilar bodies meet acrobatically. 42 cm separate them in height\, 42 kg in weight. A difference that unites and creates possibilities instead of being an obstacle. The extraordinary acrobatics surprise the audience while the duo’s subtle humour makes them smile. The performers sympathetically and thought-provokingly show how relationships change and how they meet at eye level. Philosophical questions are raised\, absurd moments arise and there is a glimmer of magic. Three wooden objects even out the height difference and become a third partner on stage. The piece is a compilation of contemporary circus\, physical theatre\, dance and object theatre. Acrobatics performed with precision and ease; touching\, poetic and original. \n“Rarely has a dance or acrobatic couple been seen that portrays the great themes of being so subtly\, so poetically.” (Bernd Guido Weber in ‘Schwäbische’ about GAP of 42) \nCHRIS IRIS \nChristopher Schlunk and Iris Pelz met at the Academy of Circus and Performing Arts in Tilburg\, the Netherlands\, where they graduated in 2011. They perform all over the world with renowned companies such as Cirque Éloize (Canada)\, Cikus Monti (Switzerland)\, Cirkus Cirkör (Sweden)\, La Soirée (Australia) and Palazzo (Germany). Their innovative number ‘The Microphone’ won numerous awards\, including a silver medal at the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain\, the audience award at Young Stage\, first place at Newcomershow and a special award at the Moscow International Circus Festival. The duo has performed in venues such as the famous Sydney Opera House\, Roundhouse in London\, La Tohu in Montreal and the Chamäleon Theater in Berlin. Together with four colleagues from the circus school\, they founded the collective Common Ground. Their first tour took them to festivals such as Atoll (Germany)\, Theater op de Markt (Belgium) and Circus Circle (Netherlands). \nIn 2020/21 Chris and Iris created the duo piece GAP of 42\, their first full-length production as a duo. \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 6 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 5 p.m. onwards. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it \n\n

SUMMARY:MADE IN ITALY 28.0
DESCRIPTION:Agora Coaching Project – Made in Italy 27.0 – ph Nicola Stasi \n  \nThe protagonists of the evening are the dancers of the Agora Coaching Project\, an advanced training project promoted and supported by the MM Contemporary Dance Company and A.S.D Progetto Danza of Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli. Started in 2010\, the course is gaining full recognition in the European dance world and boasts collaborations with internationally renowned teachers and choreographers. \nOn stage Made in Italy 28.0 with choreography by Sasha Waltz and Paolo Mohovich. IN C\nStudy for ‘In C’ \nChoreography by Sasha Waltz \nMusic by Terry Riley \nRe-staged by Davide Di Pretoro \n  \nAn important opportunity for enrichment is the encounter of the young dancers of Agora Coaching Project with the work “In C” by the great choreographer Sasha Waltz. A considerable achievement for the training course supported by the MM Contemporary Dance Company\, which is enriched by such a prestigious collaboration as Sasha Waltz & Guest\, bringing Agora fully into a wide-ranging European training context. “In C”\, which the Fondazione I Teatri will host at the Teatro Valli in a few months\, danced by Sasha Waltz’s company\, is one of the German choreographer’s latest works. The work was created to the musical score by Terry Riley\, composed in 1964 and revolutionary for the time\, as it constitutes the first example of minimalist music \nOn this milestone in the history of music\, the great German choreographer Sasha Waltz and the dancers of her company developed a choreographic work that follows an equally variable structure\, deliberately designed not to be a finished scenic piece\, but one that is constantly evolving. The result is an experimental system of choreographic figures that fit within a structured improvisation\, a dynamic and modular system that can be adapted to different times and formats.\nPICCOLI RITI NOTTURNI\nChoreography: Paolo Mohovich \nMusic: Michael Kiwanuka \nAssistant to the choreographer: Diletta Torelli \n  \nThe first walk in a dark wood. The first moonlight swim. The first party\, the first encounters and disencounters (amorous and otherwise)… to be a little older the next day… \nNight rituals that in hindsight appear small\, but how can we forget the emotion that made them appear immense?\nAGORA COACHING PROJECT \nAGORA COACHING PROJECT is a two-year dance training project for dancers between the ages of 16 and 22. Agora aims to train artists ready to flexibly face the variety of the international dance market\, artists capable of responding to the different technical/stylistic demands of this same market. \nThe aim is to provide a solid basis for learning the various techniques in use on the international contemporary dance scene and the different repertoires through the alternation of qualified teachers and artists by bringing to the stage the works created by guest choreographers. The course aims to offer a wide range of stimuli\, technical\, cultural and exchange between students and choreographers\, each of whom comes from and works in different realities among the most interesting on the international scene. Agora brings dancers together with established choreographers and directors of prestigious companies\, thus giving students the opportunity to obtain work contracts; Agora thus represents an active and effective bridge between training and the world of work\, having built a network of collaborations with numerous European companies over the years. Many Agora students are currently working in these prestigious ensembles. \nArtistic direction: Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli \nDancers: Camilla Aiazzi\, Corrado Azzollini\, Beatrice Ballarò\, Erica Barusco\, Gaia Belli\, Marek Brafa\, Anna Dal Maso\, Laura Dell’Agnese\, Sally Demonte\, Vittoria Facci\, Chiara Gionti\, Luca Guerrieri\, Sofia Lacava\, Carlotta Lo Piano\, Erika Loprieno\, Giulia Lusetti\, Giorgia Mantovan\, Gioele Marcante\, Carlotta Maucioni\, Marta Monaci\, Federico Musumeci\, Carmine Olivazzi\, Martina Pagliari\, Martina Procacci\, Susanna Russing\, Emily Rondanini\, Alessia Russo\, Alessio Saccheri\, Viviana Sanfilippo\, Sara Scarponi\, Micol Scotto\, Diletta Suman\, Giorgia Talami\, Gennaro Todisco. \nINFO & TICKETS\nTICKETS\nFull: 10 euro\nReduced under 30\, scuole di danza\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, soci CRAL Comune di Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online su www.biglietteriafonderia39.it.\nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 8 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it\n \n

SUMMARY:Storie
DESCRIPTION:Aterballetto dances Storie at its own Fonderia. \n\nStorie is a small anthology of danced fragments. They are only an infinitesimal part of the very rich artistic and human universe of the two choreographers Diego Tortelli and Philippe Kratz. \nTortelli creates two pieces: Preludio\, opening the bill\, is a love letter to the body for five dancers on Nick Cave music\, Another story is a duo about the impossible gesture of 2020\, the hug. \nBetween past and future the two creations by Kratz. The duo “O” offers us two human bodies / robots that force us to question ourselves on how the sense of physical contact might change: will it remain emotional and heartfelt\, or will it become serial and alienated?\nAlpha Grace\, a creation for six dancers at the end of the bill\, is a reflection on empathy\, a form of gentle communication among people who feel on the same level. It too is severely stretched by the present times. \n  \n\n

The creature\, descended from heaven through a light pole\, asks\, questions\, wants to understand the why of everything. It is as curious and naive as a child. \nA web of mutual questioning\, curiosity\, and conflict is established between the two\, causing the angel to discover feelings and sensations he has never experienced before. \nThe angel and the man meet\, clash\, struggle\, recognize each other\, grapple and brush against each other in a dance of life until death. Uncovering memories buried under piles of stones\, the angel lays bare man’s life\, his sorrows and joys. \nWhy do you touch where it hurts? Man asks. \n \nThe struggle between the two becomes as hard as a game. A cruel and poetic game in which man discovers his uniqueness\, his being a unique and unrepeatable “story\,” while the angel will have to choose between being everything and nothing or a precise\, earthly identity by giving up his divine dimension. \nI have no stories \nIt is not possible. Live performance workers who are extraordinary solely and uniquely in their way of being on stage and for the professionalism they have chosen to practice. \nDaily\, doggedly\, they work to seek and unveil ” beauty ” and try to give it back\, to those who meet them\, through poetry and the art of theater. Men and women who like the idea that the boundary between reality and fiction is penetrable\, that fantasies and desires can become material\, that work subjects and practices become opportunities to live and dream\, that a person in difficulty can become the protagonist of his or her own life\, when he or she crosses boundaries\, changes the everyday\, navigates unexplored waters\, reconstructs identities. They bring to the theater a mystery\, a personal poetics\, the shadows and wounds that nourish art and life. They are aware that only through quality artistic practice and a deep work ethic can they defeat prejudices\, change paradigms\, make people think and move. That is why their theater is a political act. \nThe company\, founded in Bolzano in 2011\, has a repertoire of shows (The Sound of Falling\, Characters\, Nobody Knows About Us\, The Dance\, H+G\, Wings\, Superable\, Othello Circus\, A Peep Show for Cinderella\, Paradise Lost) that are touring Italy and Europe and contributing a new look and artistic depth to social art theater. \nWinner of the 2015 and 2018 Eolo Award for the shows “H+G” and “Superabile” as the best new productions of the year in the childhood and youth theater sector; the 2015 Critic’s Award promoted by the National Association of Theater Critics as well as the 2018 UBU Special Award “for the quality of artistic\, creative and political research in often marginal areas and with capillary attention to diversity ” and Hystrio Award – Other Muses 2021 “for making theater practice an instrument of social inclusion at 360 degrees.”\nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 10 euro\nReduced under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, members CRAL Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at  www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nTicket service in Fonderia is active from 4:30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

I would like to be like you. \nWe have illustrious masters to guide us: Rilke with his “Elegie Duinesi”\, Peter Handke and Wim Wenders with “Heaven Above Berlin”\, Wallace Stevens’ “The Necessary Angel”\, James Stephens’ “Semidei”\, and Walter Benjamin’s “Angelus Novus”. \n \nTEATRO LA RIBALTA\nTeatro La Ribalta – Kunst der Vielfalt is a community of dancers and actors-versus-actors who want to develop their own legitimate strangeness.

SUMMARY:MEMENTO
DESCRIPTION:Memento – Cornelia Dance Company – ph. Sabrina Cirillo \nMemento is a dance piece that is based on the non-event. Just as in the Beckettian masterpiece\, Waiting for Godot\, the tension is created by the succession of hopes that find no concrete outlet\, so likewise\, in life\, every moment is waiting for something definitive that then\, when we think we have obtained it\, we always discover to be fragmented and subjective. \nWithin the choreography\, the performers experience this waiting and\, in their search for a definitive answer\, divine or otherwise\, to their existential condition\, they seek solace from each other\, challenge each other\, or\, like a chorus\, all tend toward the same point.\nIn the end\, the very goal of their journey will be realized in the remembrance (memento means\, precisely\, “remembered”) of these relationships and the sensations they have felt\, making it a ritual moment\, a sacred\, and therefore eternal\, act. \n\nCREDITS \nChoreography Nyko Piscopo\nMusic Arvo Pärt\nCostumes Rosario Martone\nDramaturgy Ciro Ciancio\nSet Design Paola Castrignanò\nLights Camilla Piccioni \nDancers Nicolas Grimaldi Capitello\, Eleonora Greco\, Leopoldo Guadagno\, Francesco Russo \nTechnical Manager Giuseppe Ferrigno\nManagement Vittorio Stasi\nVideo Andrea De Simone\nPhotos Sabrina Cirillo \nProduction Cornelia\nSupport Caleidoscopio\, Teatro Eduardo de Filippo \nIn collaboration with: AMAT MARCHE\, Compagnia Zappalà Danza – SCENARIO PUBBLICO. \nCONCEPT \nInnovative\, out-of-the-box and label-free\, “Memento” is a celebration of the self in all its forms and rests its foundation on gender equality. Performers are asked to renounce the inherent characteristics associated with their gender or stereotypes about it. The gaze becomes fixed\, facial expressions limited\, however\, they are also given the opportunity to express\, in a fluid manner and according to stage sensibility\, the emotionality perceived at that particular moment. Nothing has to start from an idea\, but from an internal impulse: in this way the body does not drag behind a stereotyped gesturality\, and the choreographic dynamics are built free of all patterns\, so that the man can be lifted up by the woman\, if the inner need of the couple on stage requires it\, reversing (or following) the canons without preconceived barriers. \n\nThe succession of tension and apparent calm involves every aspect of the staging. The lights rest on the performers like spots that suddenly appear and\, just as suddenly\, vanish\, conveying the anxiety and agony felt by the play’s protagonists. The atmosphere of unease tends to be amplified by an eternal return to choreographic stillness\, stillness that is\, however\, constantly challenged\, not only by the progression of light and darkness\, but also by the scenographic dynamics that\, by evoking those places that seem suspended between the earthly and the otherworldly like the monolithic complex of Stonehenge\, increases the sense of uncertainty and inner disequilibrium. The musical score also contributes to this effect of constant suspension and restart. While\, through moments of lightness and irony\, the anguish seems to be successfully concealed\, Arvo Pärt’s music reinforces the emotionality\, denying both dancers and spectators to remain indifferent to the feelings that transpire from the work. \nCORNELIA\nCornelia is a dance company founded in 2019 in Naples by Nyko Piscopo\, Nicolas Grimaldi Capitello\, Eleonora Greco\, Leopoldo Guadagno and Francesco Russo. \nKey word of Cornelia‘s artistic manifesto is INNOVATION\, which manifests itself both by carrying out projects where different languages coexist and through the reinterpretation in a modern key of some classics of dance and literature. Consequently\, the themes addressed by the company are those of contemporaneity. They include\, in fact\, the “instances” of the new generations\, such as the battles for self-determination of one’s body and for the affirmation of one’s sexuality\, but also investigating the new possibilities of connection given by the social revolution. \nIn addition to the founders\, Cornelia relies on numerous external collaborators who share the same philosophy as the group. The ‘company’s activity is widespread both in Italy and abroad: artistic productions are presented in various Italian theaters (Teatro delle Muse in Ancona\, Teatro Bellini in Naples\, Teatro Comunale in Vicenza\, Teatro Carignano in Turin) and participate in the most important dance and video dance festivals\, both national (Venice Biennale 2020\, Campania Teatro Festival 2021 and many others) and international (Filmpride in Brighton\, Choreoscope in Barcelona)\, as well as projects streamed in New York\, London\, Belgrade\, Sweden\, Iran. \nActive not only in dance at the production level\, the company is also involved in collaborating in the organization of national events such as MOVI|MENTALE and Cilentart Fest and in training with free initiatives for local dancers such as Wake Up! Training. \nIt has achieved an important recognition from the Ministry of Culture\, being included in the list of dance companies funded by the FUS. \nhttps://www.corneliaperformingarts.com/ \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 10 euro\nReduced under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, members CRAL Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nTicket service in Fonderia is active from 7:30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it

SUMMARY:DANCING BRUNO
DESCRIPTION:Compagnia Sanpapié – Dancing Bruno – ph. Donato Aquaro \nWe open the new season at Fonderia\, making just about everyone dance in an evening of about two and a half hours\, where 12 artists including musicians\, dancers\, singers and actors\, compete for the audience\, challenging each other not to leave a single spectator sitting. \n Dancing Bruno by the Milan-based company               Sanpapié is a ride through popular dance between the early 1900s and the early 1970s\, clinging to the saddle of the history of social and political changes that have transformed the way we experience spaces\, relationships\, roles and steps in common. \nIn Dancing Bruno\, irony opens the door wide to encounter and experimentation. It is a participatory experience where audience and performer merge in the same game\, creating a surreal space in which time is suspended. \n\nCREDITS \nConcept Lara Guidetti\, Saverio Bari\nWith contributions from Marco De Meo\, Marcello Gori\, Susanna Gozzetti\, Cecilia Vecchio\nChoreography and direction Lara Guidetti\nTexts Saverio Bari\nOriginal music and soundtrack Marcello Gori\nLive music Andrea Vulpani\nCostume Design Daniela De Blasio\nWith Saverio Bari\, Caterina Cescotti\, Luis Fernando Colombo\, Gioele Cosentino\, Marco De Meo\, Marcello Gori\, Susanna Gozzetti\, Lara Guidetti\, Francesca La Stella\, Matteo Sacco\, Cecilia Vecchio \nCoproduction Sanpapié and Fondazione Luzzati – Teatro della Tosse \nWHAT'S DANCING BRUNO? \nWhat comes naturally to the question is what is a dancing and especially who is Bruno. \nTo the first question the answer comes seemingly easy: a dancing is a dance hall before it is called a discotheque and after it has lost its definition of balera. Dancing is the middle ground where couple dancing opens up to rhythmic contaminations\, cultures\, forms and figures from other parts of the world. In common with the balera are the rules and\, above all\, the powerful voice of popular extraction\, while the strain toward disco reveals a world that is broadening and opening itself to encounter and experimentation\, looking at the foreigner with a fascinated and curious manner\, imitating his movements\, and ready to exchange its own. \nCompagnia Sanpapié – Dancing Bruno – ph. Donato Aquaro \nAnd Bruno? Who’s Bruno? \nBruno is the secret word\,\n        it is the memory that one carries within                                    oneself  forever\,\n        able to renew itself\n        with each generation. \nHe\, too\, is a clandestine idea: that of a theater where there is no barrier between audience and stage\, the secret and intimate receptacle of a popular universe in which we sink our roots\, the guardian of a world that is never completely lost but is transformed it is the pole that warns us when we are in danger\, to give us time to move elsewhere\, to be reborn changed\, contaminated… it is someone we have all met\, on any corner\, between any two streets\, who reminds us who we are\, who we have been\, who we could be… it is a question without the rush of the answer and the excitement of discovery… \nCompagnia Sanpapié – Dancing Bruno – ph. Donato Aquaro \nSanpapié Company \n\nSanpapié was founded in 2008 by the will of four young people then fresh out of academy: Lara Guidetti\, dancer and choreographer; Sarah Chiarcos\, playwright; Marcello Gori\, musician; and Fabio Ferretti\, organizer\, interested in investigating the depths of research without forgetting the Excel sheets. \nLike all companies\, in 13 years it has gone through very different phases and seasons\, lost pieces and then found them again\, missed trains and won calls\, but it has never betrayed its original spirit: seeking the most special and impervious way to reach the heart of the beholder. \nSanpapié has been and continues to be the home of a group of artists and organizers in perpetual motion\, constantly searching for new stimuli and new challenges; an extended family from Emilia-Milan-Romagna-Genoa (with flashes of Campania\, Puglia\, Sicily and Tuscany) that has not been afraid to grow and transform itself into a virtuous cultural enterprise. From 2015 to 2017\, Sanpapié received a grant from MiBACT as a Dance Production enterprise; from 2017 to 2019\, it won the Funder35 call from Fondazione Cariplo; and in its history it has performed not only in Italy but also in France\, the United Kingdom\, Spain\, Germany\, Portugal\, and China. \nsanpapie.com \n\nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull price: 10 euro\nReduced under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, members CRAL Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nTicket service in Fonderia is active from 7:30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554 \nEmail biglietteria@aterballetto.it \n\nCompagnia Sanpapié – Dancing Bruno – ph. SUMMARY:DROP
DESCRIPTION:XL Dance Company – “Prima di domani” – ph. Elena Bianchi \nThe young XL Dance Company\, directed by Emanuela Baratin and Laura Matano\, previews Drop\, the new creation by Laura Matano. \nCredits \nFrom an idea by Laura Matano\nChoreography: Laura Matano\nMusical collaborator: Marco Giacomelli\nConcept and lyrics: Mariagrazia Ferro\nSet design: Cinzia Macis \nConcept \nKnowledge is only possible by differentiation\, at least in order to share it and be understood\, it is mostly necessary to affirm that something is not something else.\nUndeniable\, even a little frustrating\, is the presence of an internal dichotomy within the human being\, let us say biological\, which makes the double a moment of synthesis but also of contrast.\nThe double takes on a symbolic value from scientific and objective observation. The double nature can be interpreted in a dissociative key\, of splitting or\, at the same time\, as a defence and synthesis mechanism. \nThe double is a fetish that embodies how we are made and how far we can think and think about ourselves. \nThe choreography is designed to be performed by three female and three male dancers.\nThe entire production consists of three acts that can also be staged independently. ACT I -female-\, ACT II -male-\, ACT III -mixed. \nAct I and Act II will differ only in the execution of the choreography by the two groups of dancers. There will be no change in the choreographic structure\, which will remain identical; what will change is the mode of execution\, since one act will be performed by female dancers and the other by male dancers. \nAct III constitutes the moment of synthesis in which the above-mentioned differences are resolved and renewed and will have its own choreography. \nXL DANCE COMPANY \nIt was born in Reggio Emilia under the artistic direction of Emanuela Baratin and Laura Matano. \nThe aim of the dance company is to create performances by circulating choreographers and international realities. In XL Dance Company\, the movement\, the body\, the gestures become matter and surface for the individual and collective expression\, instruments of choreographic experimentation through methods and techniques supporting a creativity born from intuitions\, resonances and perceptions. The productions reflect the DNA of XL Dance Company\, which makes contamination between styles its distinctive feature. Open to innovation\, the dancers perform in important national and international festivals and theatres. \nstudioxlcontemporary.it \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 3 euro\nUnder 6: free \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 17.30. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nTel 0522273016 \nMobile and whatsapp 3341023554

MINE is an experiment of collective\, horizontal creation and choreographic writing by ten hands that aims to carry on a research work focused on the sharing of practices\, experimentations and languages. \nEsercizi per un manifesto poetico\, winner of the 2019 edition of DNA Appunti Coreografici marks the beginning of their artistic collaboration. \nIn 2020 they debut with the choreographic project Corpi Elettrici\, in collaboration with the Gender Bender Festival and the Electronic Music School of the G.B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna. The work was initially conceived as a special project by Gender Bender and the G.B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna\, developed during the lockdown to make the 5 dancemakers of the Collective work together with 20 students from the Electronic Music and Applied Music courses. From these meetings\, which took the form of videoconference sessions\, 20 short video works were produced. From these 20 videos the MINE Collective subsequently developed a creation for the stage. \nIn 2021 they are choreographers for the project Swans never die(Danzare la memoria 2020-2022) a project of Lavanderia a Vapore – Centro di Residenza per la Danza (Piemonte dal Vivo – Circuito Multidisciplinare dello Spettacolo\, Coorpi\, Didee Arti e Comunicazioni\, Mosaico Danza\, Zerogrammi); Operaestate Festival Veneto and Centro per la Scena Contemporanea CSC Bassano del Grappa; Triennale Milano Teatro; Fondazione Teatro Grande di Brescia; Festival Bolzano Danza – Fondazione Haydn; Gender Bender Festival; “Memory in Motion. SUMMARY:NEXT STOP_ PALCOSCENICO
DESCRIPTION:NEXT STOP_ PALCOSCENICO\nContainer of contemporary creations that open the door to the professional performing world. \nChoreographers 2022\nRoberto Tedesco\, Laura Matano\, Taulant Shehu\n \nPerformers\nGiovani danzatori del Corso di perfezionamento StudioXL Reggio Emilia\nCompagnia XL\n \nMEMORY LAB \n(Ricordare) remember comes from the Latin: re- indietro and cor cuore. Recall in heart.\nIn ancient times\, the heart was thought to be the home of memory\, which today we know to be the brain.\nIn these terms\, therefore\, remembering does not only mean ‘having memory’ but having past experiences live inside you\, making them impact your essence and your life. \nTales and anecdotes\, but also desires\, goals and dreams. And also assumptions\, fears and apprehensions about what we will be\, about what is to come. \nThe end result of a workshop on childhood seen by those who lived it not too long ago and at the same time\, in imagining themselves old\, by those who today can only assume memories still unknown. \nChoreography Roberto Tedesco\nPerformers Dancers from the formazione StudioXL \nMusic Hiro Kone\, Colleen\nLight design Gessica Germini \nOh Peter\, hello. Goodbye. \nHere was the greeting you had to become.\nI awaited it with understanding because in all our things there were sentences and redemptions. In it is included the desire to which I had to return and which I had to keep. A resolute control of aspirations is necessary in order not to become a victim of them.\nYou are without siege\, and I am no longer a smile but winter. Cover yourself too.\nYou said that every body seeks\, calls\, must fulfil itself. It is true\, here is the ritual to go.\nI feel that you want to drag me into your space but I have chosen to return to myself\, in symbiosis with my wide gestures and without constraints. Until they are fulfilled we will guard our sleeps but stand in profile to give access to the nightmares.\nThen I will open my hands as in a space of my own\, without having yours around to take one last close look. \nChoreography Laura Matano\nPerformers Compagnia XL\nMusic Various Authors\nLight design Gessica Germini \n \nTime \nThe perception of time is highly subjective\, each of us has its own past. We are our past. This is shown by our faces with the signs of advancing age\, it is shown by our eyes in which a mixture of disappointment and satisfaction shines through.\nWithout memory of the past\, without projection into the future\, we cannot make sense of the world and the people in it.\nSo it is up to us to choose and ask ourselves questions\, is time our ally? Can it heal our wounds? Or do we use time only to forget and eventually forgive? \nChoreography Taulant Shehu\nPerformers Dancers from formazione StudioXL \nAuthors Ezio Bosso\nLight design Gessica Germini \nStudioXL International Contemporary Dance Education \nArtistic Direction Emanuela Baratin\, Laura Matano \nStudioXL is aimed at dancers aged 18 and over who wish to deepen their study of the contemporary performing arts.\nIt is an eight-month long advanced training course during which they will alternate study\, research and performance throughout Europe.\nInternationally renowned professional choreographers also participate in the project in order to give the dancers the best training possible.\nThe aim of the study course is to refine the technical\, scenic and expressive skills of each dancer and to guide them to the discovery and enhancement of their professional identity. \nstudioxlcontemporary.it \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull 10 euro\nReduced under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, CRAL members Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service in Fonderia is open from 5 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nTel 0522273016 \nCell and whatsapp 3341023554

SUMMARY:Winter Forest
DESCRIPTION:Winter Forest creates an unclassifiable landscape with a winter\, glacial character\, like a Nordic forest\, obtained with special light effects reflected on a silk backdrop. \n\n  \n  \nCREDITS\nChoreography Fabrizio Favale\nDancers Daniele Bianco\, Valentina Staltari\, Po-Nien Wang\nSet\, costume and art work First Rose\nSounds recorded in zoos of different countries around the world Fabrizio Favale\nMusic Massimo Carozzi\, Daniela Cattivelli\, Christian Fennesz\, Jónsi\, Alex Somers \nCo-produced by Festival Danza in Rete – Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Vicenza\, KLm – Kinkaleri / Le Supplici / mk\nSupported by MIBAC / Regione Emilia-Romagna\nIn collaboration with h(abita)t – Rete di Spazi per la Danza / Sementerie Artistiche\, Crevalcore \nSYNOPSIS \nWinter Forest creates an unclassifiable landscape with a winter\, glacial character\, like a Nordic forest\, obtained with special light effects reflected on a silk backdrop. Here three dancers move in a dance made of the intertwining of a very high technical complexity and unknown movements\, like creatures from other worlds. Space and costumes of the dancers have similar aesthetic traits\, resulting in a camouflage effect. The choreography is built with a cyclical idea whose elements\, while varying\, return with an apparent randomness\, as happens to thunderstorms and storms. \n \nAfter having attended for a long time outdoor landscapes in their changes within the alternation of the seasons (The Invisible Seasons – Infinite Choreographic Cycle 2018-2021\, awarded with the Siae and Mibac Prize For Who Creates and selected by the Big Pulse Alliance as one of the eight best European outdoor projects 2021 in the programme Open Air Commission)\, with this project Fabrizio Favale now investigates the concept of mimicry. Sometimes useful in nature\, sometimes useless\, mimicry is seen here first of all as an aesthetic event. A way of disappearing\, dissolving into the surrounding\, to reappear with the appearance of the surrounding. \nFabrizio Favale \nHis dance is oriented towards abstraction\, typical of the American techniques with which he was trained. The choreographic landscapes that he draws in his works seem to refer from time to time to distant and unknown worlds\, in which dance presents itself as a horizon free from interpretation and classification. \nFabrizio studied classical ballet with Denis Carey\, Victor Litvinov\, Sue Carlton Jones. Contemporary techniques with Andé Peck\, Roberta Garrison\, Jeff Slayton\, Betty Jones\, Nina Watt\, Irene Hultmann\, Louise Burns\, Alwin Nicholais. \nFrom a very young age he was awarded numerous scholarships including Full Scholarship at the American Dance Festival\, Duke University\, USA in 1990.\nAt 19 he was awarded with the Prize “Nati per la danza” at the Theatre Romolo Valli in Reggio Emilia and at 26 he was nominated “best Italian dancer of the year 1996” by the G. Tani Prize.\nFrom 1991 to 2001 he danced for the Virgilio Sieni Danza Company. \nSince 1999 he has created over 30 choreographies\, receiving awards in Spain\, Germany\, Italy and Serbia\, performing in numerous festivals and theaters such as Théâtre National de la Danse Chaillot Paris\, Biennale de la Danse de Lyon\, La Biennale di Venezia\, Suzanne Dellal Tel Aviv\, SIDance Seoul\, Varna International Festival and many more.\nHis works have been co-produced by Théâtre National de la Danse Chaillot Paris\, MUSEION – National Museum of Arts in Bolzano\, Tanz Bozen Festival\, Festival MILANoLTRE Milan\, Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Vicenza.\nIn 2011\, on the occasion of the presentation of the work “Un ricamo fatto sul nulla” at the Grand Theater of the National Academy of Dance in Rome\, he received the “Medal of the President of the Republic for Italian choreographic talent”. \nHe invents a series of experimental programming formats\, which will be invited by Italian Festivals and Theaters. The main ones are: “Piattaforma della Danza Balinese” (2014-2015) for the Santarcangelo Festival and “Circo Massimo” (2016-2017) for the Duse Theater in Bologna. \nHe collaborates with musicians and composers such as Mountains (USA)\, Teho Teardo (IT)\, Daniela Cattivelli (IT) and visual artists such as ZimmerFrei (IT)\, Lele Marcoianni (IT). \nHis outdoor project Le Stagioni Invisibili – Ciclo Coreografico Infinito 2018-2021\, received the “PerChiCrea 2019” Production Award from Siae and Mibac – Italian Ministry of Culture and was shortlisted by the Big Pulse Dance Alliance as one of the best 8 European projects 2021 in its programme Open Air Commissions. \nWith the duo First Rose (Fabrizio Favale and Andrea Del Bianco)\, he also designs scenes\, costumes and artifacts\, which sometimes graft the choreographic works with an enigmatic figuration of strange beings\, as hybrids of a kind of organic and inorganic world. \nFor the three-year period 22-24 Fabrizio Favale is nominated Italian Associate Artist of MILANoLTRE\, Teatro Elfo-Puccini Milan. \nlesupplici.it \nINFO & TICKETS \nTICKETS\nFull: 10 euro\nReduced under 30\, dance schools\, Liceo Coreutico Matilde di Canossa\, over 65\, CRAL members Municipality of Reggio Emilia: 6 euro\nReduced price under 8: 3 euro \nPURCHASING TICKETS \nTickets can be purchased online at www.biglietteriafonderia39.it. \nThe ticket office service at the Fonderia is open from 5.30 pm. \nTickets are not numbered. \nCONTACTS \nTel +39 0522 273016 \nMobile and whatsapp +39 334 1023554
