SUMMARY:Italia Danza - Brussels
DESCRIPTION:From November 28th to December 12th\, 2023\, dance meets cultural diplomacy and travels the world with Italia Danza: the new project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Maeci) curated by CCN/Aterballetto. \nRealized through the General Directorate for Public and Cultural Diplomacy\, the project takes place in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institutes\, with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the City of Reggio Emilia. The goal of Italia Danza is simple: to enhance the Italian Cultural Institutes\, places that represent cultural diplomacy par excellence in the world\, by bringing some creations of the only National Choreographic Center of our country: the CCN/Aterballetto. A cosmopolitan project\, entrusted to the universal language of the body\, which CCN/Aterballetto interprets with its rich heritage of site-specific creations. \nThe Brussels stage is characterized by collaboration with the European Commission\, which helps bring the MicroDances to the ancient St. Gery market\, renovated by the Municipality of Brussels to make it a multifunctional space open to the public.
