OPEN REHEARSAL<\/h4>\nOPEN REHEARSAL<\/h4>\nTribute to Dante Alighieri, is a scenic polyphony between body, Dante’s verses and sound environments.
\nThe originality of the creative approach lies both in the cross-media staging and in the production format. The project is in fact conceived to be modular and modulable: each solo is composed of several interchangeable scenic elements, which relate dynamically to the structure that houses them.
\nThe 3 “actors” of the scenic polyphony imagined by Monica Casadei are the performers for the choreography of the chosen Dantean Ombra, the voice off of an actor\/actress, the sound carpet\/atmosphere composed by a sound designer who elaborates a Dantean sound from Verdi’s Requiem.<\/p>\n
Choreography, direction Monica Casadei<\/strong> <\/div><\/div><\/div> Originally from Ferrara, Monica Casadei graduates in philosophy cum laude writing a dissertation on dance in Plato\u2019s system. After a career as a professional acrobatic gymnast, she takes to studying classic and modern dance, at first in Italy, then in London, and eventually in Paris where she gets to meet choreographers Pierre Doussaint and Isabelle Doubouloz and the Master Andr\u00e9 Cognard Hanshi So shihan, with whom she still practices the martial art of Aikido.<\/p>\n In France, she founds the company Artemis Danza, with which she later moves to Italy, in 1997, giving birth to a fervent production activity that amounts, nowadays, to over 40 original creations.<\/p>\n From 1998 to 2007, the Company is part of an artist residency at Fondazione Teatro Due in Parma whereas, from 2014 up to this day, it partakes in an artist residency at Teatro Comunale in Bologna. Artemis Danza has been invited to the most important Italian theatres and festivals and to several international tours and festivals.<\/p>\n Pivotal elements in Monica Casadei\u2019 s artistic research are the influences from different artistic, cultural and geographic fields and the exploration of urban spaces and places that turn into stages for performances.<\/p>\n Alongside the production activity, Artemis funds, produces and promotes young choreographers and organizes several activities meant to artistically educate the audience.<\/p>\n artemisdanza.com<\/a><\/p>\n <\/div><\/div><\/div> TICKETS<\/strong> PURCHASING TICKETS<\/strong> The ticket service in the Fonderia is suspended.<\/p>\n Tickets are not numbered.<\/p>\n
