The dancers of the CCN/Aterballetto take the stage in a production featuring works by acclaimed choreographers, including the multi-award-winning Crystal Pite, one of the most celebrated figures in contemporary dance. Solo Echo is inspired by two cello and piano sonatas by Johannes Brahms and by the poem “Lines for Winter” by Mark Strand. As in Strand’s poem, Solo Echo invokes winter — through music and movement — to express something essential about acceptance and loss.

Reconciliatio is a delicate female duet inspired by the Book of Revelation, created by one of the world’s leading choreographers, Angelin Preljocaj.

The evening concludes with Glory Hall, a new creation by Diego Tortelli, offering both the company and the audience a vivid fresco of sensuality and irresistible vitality.
