Il Mondo dei Quasi | Reggionarra

CCN/Aterballetto presents the first study of Il mondo dei quasi at Reggionarra, Fernando Melo’s new creation for children.

In a strange and playful world made of soft, constantly moving walls, two figures appear, disappear, play hide-and-seek and look for one another. They come closer, move apart and meet again in ever-changing ways, as if the space itself were playing with them. Around them, everything is in constant transformation, full of small surprises that make every encounter unpredictable.

Through movement, surprise and imagination, the performance invites young audiences to enter a world where nothing ever stands completely still and meeting one another is always an adventure. At its heart, the work reflects on our deep human need for connection: on how we approach others and on how connection is not always immediate, but something we build through curiosity, patience and play.

By coming into contact with these ideas, children are encouraged to reflect on empathy, communication and the joy of trying to understand and be understood.
