Active Motivation

“Every existence is unique. Human existence is an infinite line that, as it progresses, intersects with other lines creating interaction. It starts alone and ends alone. Essence, however, is found in the intermediate state. Movement contains a code that unlocks the essence of existence and delimits it. The choice of position is what defines the path.”

Eppur si muove

In Eppur si muove, enveloped in the refined and ethereal costumes by Bruno Fatalot, two dancers move solemnly on a barrel-pedestal, drawn by the mournful and mysterious note of Beethoven’s Allegretto. Their dance captivates and seduces, imposing like a prayer chant.

Near life experience

“Near life experience is the exploration of the different possibilities of the body, possibilities that refer to intermediate sensations. We approach this state when we are particularly close to areas that hover on the border of existence, which we access when we faint, or in a trance, in moments of ecstasy or orgasm. The sense of ecstasy and fading, of dazzling sensation, and the attempt to externalize individuality approach this experience. The subject is elsewhere, taken away from oneself, kidnapped. Near life experience evokes all this, it is an attempt to extract oneself from space and time. A sort of eclipse of the self, a search through this amniotic imaginary – a new writing in the space left empty by the body.”

A Gig

A Gig is the new unpublished work by Diego Tortelli

“A GIG is an opening or closing number. Something short that serves to warm up the audience or to say ‘goodnight’ to those who came to see us. In ‘rock slang,’ it is often performed by a group that is the headliner of an event. It’s not a full concert, but a small performance that in a few minutes wants to capture the style, vibes, and intensity of the band
