OPEN REHEARSAL
Tribute to Dante Alighieri, is a scenic polyphony between body, Dante’s verses and sound environments.
The originality of the creative approach lies both in the cross-media staging and in the production format. The project is in fact conceived to be modular and modulable: each solo is composed of several interchangeable scenic elements, which relate dynamically to the structure that houses them.
The 3 “actors” of the scenic polyphony imagined by Monica Casadei are the performers for the choreography of the chosen Dantean Ombra, the voice off of an actor/actress, the sound carpet/atmosphere composed by a sound designer who elaborates a Dantean sound from Verdi’s Requiem.
