The CCN/Aterballetto presents a true concert in dance within the 54th edition of the Istanbul Music Festival. Rhapsody in Blue by Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich is a playful, vibrant choreography, much like Gershwin’s iconic score. Reconciliatio is a delicate female pas de deux by Angelin Preljocaj, set to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. Solo Echo by Crystal Pite, through Brahms’s sonatas for piano and cello, invokes winter to express something essential about acceptance and loss.

The programme will be enriched by live performances of works by Brahms and Beethoven, interpreted by cellist Dorukhan Doruk and pianist Korkmaz Can Sağlam, helping to create a direct dialogue between music and dance.
