March in Fonderia
During March, in Fonderia, we will host three performances that are journeys in the experimentation and research of Italian choreographic writing.
Tuesday 8 March – h 18.00: open rehearsal
Wednesday 9 March – h 20.30: performance
The movement of Simona Bertozzi surprises the audience: its originality and its particular reconfiguration are not so much significant as its lack of mediations concerning the dance and the audience attendance, towards which it is so direct that it seems to be able to exist even without it. 10 choreographic studies by the authors of tomorrow
The 12 choreographers of the advanced training course Next Generation Choreographers create ten choreographies for the young dancers of the Agora Coaching Project.
It will be a unique opportunity to watch the creations of the authors of tomorrow.

Nicola Galli creates a choreographic pièce in the shape of dance ritual, which traces an ideal path between West and East and celebrates an undiscovered world.
Spectators become meticulous observers of a foreign, wild and upside-down universe; they are guests invited to go beyond the boundaries of what they know and discover themselves as strangers in front of strangers.
[…] In this creation, I worked on the idea of losing and forgetting our own roots in order to get in touch with other roots. When meeting a stranger I always think there might be a great exchange and knowledge.
As an author, I would like to bring out this aspect and allow spectators to feel and participate as strangers who finds themselves in front of something unknown, in a reality that they have never touched with hand or mind.
