A farewell to the dance by Ivana, Clément, and Sara

With the end of the season, we bid farewell to three performers who have left a profound mark on the artistic life of the company: Ivana Mastroviti, Clément Haenen, and Sara De Greef.

Ivana Mastroviti has been, for over a decade, one of the most iconic faces of Aterballetto.
Since joining the company in 2009, she has danced the entire repertoire, performing works by Mauro Bigonzetti, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Marcos Morau, Crystal Pite, Cristiana Morganti, Andonis Foniadakis, Michele Di Stefano, Eugenio Scigliano, Giuseppe Spota, Diego Tortelli, among others.

Critics have described her as magnetic, poetic, commanding on stage, and impeccable. Perhaps nothing captures her uniqueness better than the solo Birdland by Johan Inger, created for her, or the pas de deux “O” by Philippe Kratz, where her hypnotic presence enchanted the audience.

For 14 years, Ivana has graced stages in Italy and abroad with a presence that combined strength and grace, intensity and rigor.
In Madrid, in July 2025, she bid farewell to the audience with a final, moving performance—not a goodbye to dance, but the start of a new chapter.

Starting with the 2025/2026 season, Ivana will become the company’s maître de ballet—a key role in which she will pass on the values and identity of Aterballetto to new generations of dancers.

Thank you, Ivana.

Clément Haenen has captured the hearts of the company and its audience with his strong and unmistakable stage presence.

Unforgettable in Eppur si muove by Francesca Lattuada, where his sculptural and powerful body shaped a distinctive image of the MicroDanze project throughout Europe.

Since 2018, Clément has accompanied the company in every choreographic creation with dedication and sensitivity.
He will carry this experience and legacy into new artistic directions.

To him, we offer our most sincere thanks.

Sara De Greef concludes her journey with the company after three seasons, during which she demonstrated a deeply theatrical quality of movement.

Her dance has always revealed a generous personality combined with natural stage intelligence. In every creation, she found her unique voice, bringing sensitivity, strength, and irony to the stage.
We are confident that her path will continue with the same passion that has accompanied her these past years.

Thank you, Sara.

Three different journeys, one common thread: the beauty of gesture, dedication, and human and artistic connection.
To all three, we wish a future full of discoveries, visions, and new dance.
