AUDITION – 2026 SEASON
For more than 50 years, the Centro Coreografico Nazionale / Aterballetto has presented international choreographers, discovered young talents, experimented across different fields, and promoted dialogue with video, visual art, photography, live music, and theatre. Since 2022, it has been the first and only National Choreographic Centre (CCN) in Italy.
The Aterballetto company, composed of 8 male and 8 female dancers, is internationally and nationally renowned, presenting over 150 performances each season in Italy and abroad.
Its repertoire includes works by some of the most important international choreographers, such as Marcos Morau, Crystal Pite, Angelin Preljocaj, Johan Inger, Ohad Naharin, Iratxe Ansa & Igor Bacovich, as well as by young and eclectic creators including Diego Tortelli, Eyal Dadon, and Philippe Kratz.
The Centro Coreografico Nazionale / Aterballetto opens its doors to meet new female and male dancers with the following requirements:

excellent classical ballet technique

highly accomplished contemporary dance skills

at least 3 years of experience in professional companies
Audition by invitation only. Dates and times will be communicated after the CV selection process, curated by Company Director Sveva Berti.

On Wednesday, April 2, three special performances of SANTA at Reggiane Parco Innovazione.
Aterballetto at the Granada Festival
On June 28 and 29, Aterballetto returns to the Granada Festival, performing Don Juan by Johan Inger for the final time, and bringing the MicroDanze to life in the enchanting setting of the Alhambra.
CCN/Aterballetto receives the Taobuk Award in Taormina
On June 21, CCN/Aterballetto will receive the 2025 Taobuk Award at the Teatro Antico di Taormina. Broadcasting on Rai1 on July 2 at 23.00.
MicroDanze on tour

Aterballetto dances in Germany and Switzerland
From May 9 to 25, Aterballetto travels through the heart of Europe, performing at the prestigious Maifestspiele in Wiesbaden and the Ruhrfestspiele in Recklinghausen, thanks to the collaboration with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Köln.
