The Chiostri di San Pietro are the most extraordinary monumental complex in Reggio Emilia, one of the most striking of the Italian Renaissance, with a shape that bears the recognisable hand of Giulio Romano.
The Chiostri di San Pietro are the evocative setting of DANZA AI CHIOSTRI, a summer event curated by the Fondazione Nazionale della Danza / Aterballetto and the Fondazione I Teatri di Reggio Emilia as part of the Restate summer programme of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia.

Il CCN/Aterballetto danza al Teatro Bellini di Napoli dal 26 al 29 marzo 2026.
I danzatori del CCN/Aterballetto sono i protagonisti di una produzione firmata dalla pluripremiata Crystal Pite, coreografa canadese ormai nell’Olimpo della danza. Solo Echo si ispira a due sonate per violoncello e pianoforte di Johannes Brahms e alla poesia “Lines for Winter” di Mark Strand. Come nella poesia di Strand, Solo Echo invoca l’inverno, la musica e il corpo in movimento per esprimere qualcosa di essenziale sull’accettazione e la perdita.
Reconciliatio è un delicato passo a due femminile ispirato alla lettura dell’Apocalisse, firmato da uno dei più importanti coreografi a livello internazionale Angelin Preljocaj.
L’ultima coreografia Glory Hall è la nuova produzione firmata da Diego Tortelli, che regala alla compagnia e al pubblico un affresco di sensualità e travolgente vitalità.

As part of the Belgrade Dance Festival, Aterballetto performs Notte Morricone by Marcos Morau at the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad.

And so it is that creators and artists always leave us without ever truly leaving — this is how memory takes care to keep them alive, to keep them safe. Notte Morricone unfolds in the twilight of an ordinary night in the life of a creative mind — alone and dazed before his sheets of paper, jotting down notes and imagining melodies for films that do not yet exist, reviving stories in the rarefied air of his room.

Reconciliatio is a delicate female duet by Angelin Preljocaj, choreographed to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. In An echo, a wave by Philippe Kratz, the dancers’ flowing movements evoke the motion of the sea, while Rhapsody in Blue by Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich is a playful, spirited choreography, just like Gershwin’s iconic composition.
