Aterballetto’s final performances of 2025
Across Italy, Mexico, and Bulgaria, the Centro Coreografico Nazionale / Aterballetto closes its 2025 season.
Set to the music of Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, Once Upon a Time in America, The Mission, and many other masterpieces by Academy Award–winner Ennio Morricone, Aterballetto’s dance will guide audiences into Marcos Morau’s visionary Notte Morricone at the Teatro Sociale di Como (Wednesday, December 3) and the Teatro Verdi in Pordenone (Thursday, December 11).
Rich and varied programs featuring a tapestry of different choreographic signatures are scheduled in Pesaro, Vicenza, and Fidenza (PR):
- Friday, December 6 – Pesaro, Teatro Sperimentale: Terra Piccola by Antonella Bertoni, Preludio by Diego Tortelli, Reconciliatio by Angelin Preljocaj, An Echo, A Wave and Alpha Grace by Philippe Kratz.
- Saturday, December 14 – Vicenza, Teatro Comunale: Rhapsody in Blue by Iratxe Ansa & Igor Bacovich, An Echo, A Wave by Philippe Kratz, Reconciliatio by Angelin Preljocaj, and Solo Echo by Crystal Pite. On the same day, at the Teatro Marenco in Novi Ligure (AL), the children’s production Stravaganze in sol minore by Francesca Lattuada will be performed.
- Thursday, December 18 – Fidenza, Teatro Magnani: Preludio, Reconciliatio, An Echo, A Wave, and Rhapsody in Blue.

The Year-End Events of Italia Danza
In December, Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda—the creation by Philippe Kratz and Fabio Cherstich inspired by the madrigal of the same name by Claudio Monteverdi, drawn from the famed tale of love and death in Torquato Tasso’s Gerusalemme liberata—animates the final two 2025 events of Italia Danza, the co-designed project developed together with the Directorate General for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Mexico and the Italian Cultural Institute of Mexico City, on Saturday, December 7, we will be at the 39th Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara, celebrating the symbolic handover from Spain to Italy, guest of honor for the 2026 edition.
On Sunday, December 29, we will close our year by performing in the Bulgarian capital, thanks to the collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Sofia.
