Dance in Fonderia: three evenings of duets

The Danza in Fonderia – The Dynamics of Time series continues between March and April with three events that explore time as an unstable and layered condition of the present: a time fractured by the weight of contemporary transformations, compressed within individual perception, and stretched through often ambiguous attempts to repair what has been compromised.

All three works, conceived as duets, form a trajectory that does not follow a chronological linearity, but moves through different temporal qualities, offering an experience shaped by shifts, returns, and possibilities for change.

The events take place at La Fonderia, Via della Costituzione 39 (Reggio Emilia). Tickets can be purchased online here.

Habemus Naufragium

In a present that struggles to imagine its own future, Habemus Naufragium unfolds within the time of crisis—the moment when everything seems on the verge of collapse.
Choreographer Silvia Pezzarossi, performing alongside Anna-Maria Bayon, creates an ironic and visionary shipwreck: a drift that is not only loss, but also a possibility for transformation.

T.R.I.P.O.F.O.B.I.A – The End – Première

The fear of holes—or rather, of all those small geometric shapes that, when clustered together, create masses of tiny cavities. T.R.I.P.O.F.O.B.I.A – The End delves into the inner time of perception and fear. It is a compressed time that manifests itself as a constant tension.

Monday 30 March, open rehearsal at 6:00 pm
Tuesday 31 March, premiere at 9:00 pm

Cry Violet

With Cry Violet, we enter the time that comes after: the time of guilt, memory, and attempts at repair.

Cry Violet, named after the extinct flower of the same name, is a choreographic creation by and with Panzetti / Ticconi, set to a sound composition conceived and performed by Teho Teardo. Using a gestural code inspired by expressions of pain and shame drawn from the iconography of original sin, the work highlights the human tendency to atone for guilt through practices that attempt either to repair environmental damage or, in other ways, to conceal it.

At the end of both performances, there will be a moment of meeting and discussion with performers Ginevra Panzetti and Enrico Ticconi, together with arts and culture communicator Michele Pascarella.

From 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm, there will also be a selection of local products and wines in collaboration with Mercato Campagna Amica del Tricolore.

Wednesday 8 April, 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm
