FEBRUARY AT FONDERIA

A February full of events at Fonderia, many new performances and productions await you in the house of dance.

 1° FEBRUARY H 19.00, 2nd performance H 21.00

The Abbondanza/Bertoni company brings to the stage a solo that explores the diversity of the body, particularly the female body and its evolution with age and time. A journey to Venus, where gravity is dense, where in its slow going the body reveals itself in a final metamorphosis.

6 FEBRUARY H 18.00 Open Rehearsal,  7 FEBRUARY H 20.30 Performance

The young Neapolitan company Corneliabrings to the stage Memento, a dance pièce based on the non-event. Just as in the Beckettian masterpiece, Aspettando Godot, the suspense is created by the succession of hopes that do not find a concrete outlook, so in the same way, in life, every moment is a waiting for something definitive that then, when we think we have obtained it, we always discover to be fragmented and subjective.

11 and 12 FEBRUARY H 17.30

From texts by Antonio Viganò, Remo Rostagno and Gian Luigi Gherzi, a creation that sets the meeting between a young man and an angel to tell of confronting identities, mutually unveiled dimensions, an impossible challenge between the human and the celestial. The two young performers of the company La Ribalta – Kunst der Vielfalt, Jason De Majo and Michael Untertrifaller, bring to the stage a spectrum of brutal and at the same time tender sensations, capable of creating an infinite range of expressive colouring.

Partner of the evenings will be YOGI TEA, who will surprise the audience with a gift of organic herbal teas and infusions.

16 FEBRUARY h 20.30

In the second episode of the series curated by Nicolas Ballario, we present Storie, a small anthology of danced fragments, part of the immense artistic and human universe of choreographers Diego Tortelli and Philippe Kratz. The evening will feature Aterballetto dancers who will perform some sequences from the choreographies.

Partner of the evening will be YOGI TEA, which will surprise the audience with a gift of organic herbal teas and infusions.

20 FEBRUARY H 18.00

Come and discover our work, new projects and the new faces of the company. Open rehearsals are unique moments in which you can experience the backstage of a performance, talk to the artists and be surprised by the art of dance.

PREVIEW – STRAVAGANZE IN SOL MINORE

On 25 February at 5.30 p.m. we will present a preview of our new production for children created by Francesca Lattuada. The choreographer, inspired by the texts and images of the master Toti Scialoja (1914-1998), creates a visionary, ironic and amusing work, capable of making adults and children dream. A special feature of this performance is the possibility for young spectators to engage with a world of dance, songs and rhymes.
