April at Fonderia

There are eight events at the Fonderia in April. For this month, we have decided to give our audience more opportunities to get to know the backstage of Aterballetto and other companies: open rehearsals are unique moments in which it is possible to experience the backstage of a performance, talk to the artists, and be surprised by the art of dance.

Just after Easter there is a weekend dedicated to families and not only – with an entertaining performance with extraordinary acrobatics: a compilation of contemporary circus.

The last events are with Carlo Massari’s company: an irreverent, cynical and authentic dive into non-sense..

Aterballetto’s open rehearsals

Aterballetto opens the doors of its rehearsal room on Wednesday 5 April at 6 pmandTuesday 11 April at 6 pm.

On these two occasions, the company will introduce the work of Yeled by Eyal Dadon and Shoot me by Diego Tortelli in view of the performance in Budapest and the event on 6 May at 9 p.m. at the Fonderia.

A compilation of contemporary circus

On Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 at 6 p.m., the acrobatic dance performance Gap of 42 created and performed by two very talented German artists, Christopher Schlunk and Iris Pelz, comes to the Fonderia for the first time.

Extraordinary acrobatics and absurd comedy meet in an entertaining performance where two apparently very different bodies come together to create something incredible.

Touching, original, poetic.

Roberto Tedesco presents his creation

On Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 April at 6 p.m. former Aterballetto dancer Roberto Tedesco ritorna in Fonderia per presentare il work in progress della nuova creazione SIMBIOSI.

Irreverent dive into non-sense

Wednesday 26 April at 9 p.m. Carlo Massari presents his Beast without Beauty, inspired by Samuel Beckett’s Happy Days.

The umpteenth glance: firm, cold, pitiless on society. An irreverent, cynical study of the archetypes of human misery, of inexpressiveness, of despicable cruelty in interpersonal relationships.

At 6 p.m. open rehearsal for a talk with the choreographer.
