Autumn is the perfect season to spend an afternoon at the theater with loved ones. In November, we welcome you to the halls of the Fonderia di Reggio Emilia for two contemporary dance events suitable for audiences of all ages.

It’s a unique opportunity to bring children to the theater on Saturday, November 18th, at 6:00 PM, for Esercizi di Fantastica, a performance by the Sosta Palmizi company inspired by the tales of Gianni Rodari.

A gray house. Three gray characters. Bored, drab, and blinded by technology, they move as prisoners of a predetermined mechanism, their eyes always glued to screens. But then, an unexpected element arrives! A butterfly will shift their focus elsewhere, and the house will become the theater of new adventures and transformations. A crescendo of emotions and escapades where the three characters will finally rediscover the power of imagination, in a continuous game of freeing bodies and minds.

Once again this month, the Fonderia opens its doors to an open rehearsal with the Aterballetto Company.

On November 20th, at 6:00 PM, the audience will have the opportunity to witness the rehearsal of Secus, a choreography created by Ohad Naharin in 2019: one of those performances that are hard to forget, capable of uniquely highlighting the technical skills and expressiveness of dancers.

Open rehearsals are unique moments where you can experience the backstage of a show, interact with the artists, and be amazed by the art of dance: a special opportunity that allows the audience to enter the daily routine of dancers and choreographers.
