The CCN/Aterballetto takes part in DanzainFiera.

Now in its eighteenth edition, Danzainfiera is the largest national showcase dedicated to the art of dance. The event will take place from February 23rd to 25th within a unique venue: the Fortezza da Basso in Florence.

This year, the CCN/Aterballetto will participate in the event, contributing with a program of activities during Saturday, February 24th, and with a stable booth throughout the event.

The 2024 edition of Danzainfiera, themed “All Beats to Dance,” will host a rich program of events, workshops, and auditions, including All Beats to Dance – The Gala, a show curated by Francesco Volpe featuring top Italian and international stars. The Gala will take place on Saturday, February 24th, at 6:00 PM in the Sala della Ronda and will also feature our dancers with an excerpt from the new choreography by Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich: Rhapsody in Blue.

The maîtres de ballet of the Aterballetto Company will conduct a Classical Technique Class and a Contemporary Dance Workshop, which will serve as preselection for the audition for the Advanced Training Course Dance your Time.

The talk area of the fair hosts a Focus on the first and only National Choreographic Center in Italy. The talk is conducted by Gigi Cristoforetti, General and Artistic Director, and Sveva Berti, Company Director.

Rhapsody in Blue in the show All Beats to Dance – The Gala

The entire Aterballetto Company participates in the Danzainfiera Gala with an excerpt from Rhapsody in Blue, the new production built on the famous notes of George Gershwin, choreographed by Iratxe Ansa and Igor Bacovich, internationally acclaimed choreographers.
